Guest Reviews
- Ivona (6/5): - Lokalita Keď sme prišli do apartmánu večer s deťmi , prekvapila nás špina a neporiadok, smrad, apartmán nebol uprataný.
- mojca (9/5): - Lokacija.
- Agnieszka (7/5): Good - Very good location, right next to Barcelona’s main attraction. Close to shops and restaurants. The apartment is fairly well equipped, good communication with the owner Two of the three rooms are very small and definitely lack natural daylight. Most of the windows face the walls of another building. A major downside (especially in the winter months) is that when the heating is turned on, there is not enough hot water in the boiler for bathing.

- Joanna (8/5): - Świetna lokalizacja. Bardzo dobry kontakt z obsługą. Blisko sklepy i restauracje. 100m do metra i Sagrada Familia.

- Kameliya (10/5): - The location is perfect, 1 min from Sagrada Familia. There are many cafes, restaurants, shops nearby. The metro station and bus stops are also very close. Aldi store is 3 min walk away. Easy communication with the hosts. There is everything you need in the kitchen - refrigerator, coffee maker, stove, dishwasher, microwave There were no capsules for the coffee machine, no detergent and sponges for washing dishes, and no tablets for the dishwasher. It's nice that the hosts think about these small, but important and necessary things. The sofa in the living room is not comfortable.

- Basanidze (10/5): - I liled the location, it is a great apartment, but the last room - there is not enough daylight and air, it was difficult to breath even there was a fan. It is great for a family trip, overall very nice
- Feda (8/5): - Excellent location. Lots of food options and grocery stores. Subway is couple of minutes away.
- Adam W (10/5): - If you need a quiet property two blocks from Sagrada Familia, this is for you. Downsides were the darkness of the apartment and the noise from the upstairs (?) neighbor in the middle of the night. Other than that, the five of us had a great stay!
- Mandi (9/5): Superb - The location is amazing. I hadn't realised it was so close to Sagrada Familia. It was nice to have the space and cooking facilities. We went to Aldi and stocked up, which helped with our budget. The balcony doors didn't lock, but being on the 2nd floor I guess it wasn't too serious. The beds weren't the most comfortable we've slept in, but that's usual when we're away.
- Sebastian (10/5): - This place maybe old but it was amazing and very quiet (at night, days time noise might get to someone), it was a place that we felt like we are at home. Everything is very close and the subway/tube/metro is near by as well. Dining places are amazing around the area, there is this little pizza place around the corner that has great food and multiple GF options for people who are Celiac or are on a GF free diet. Exchange is around the corner too (Western Union and there is another one near by but remember to bring your passport to the second option as they won't exchange any money with it). Try Ardemos burger joint 2 blocks away, amazing aged burgers and everything is GF as well. Of course you will be staying near Basílica de la Sagrada Família so its a nice few hours trip, need to reserve tickets prior to visiting and on the weekends they are always sold out on all the open visitation hours. Either way, the place was amazing, very clean and very cozy.
- Yilmaz (7/5): Good - Close to Sagrada familia and lots of restaurants near by Beds are not comfortable that much
- Susan Mary (8/5): - The property was easy to access and close to all the attractions of Barcelona. It is literally 1
min walk to the Sagrada Família and metro station. There were great local restaurants and shops on the doorstep. It was clean and had plenty of towels and kitchen equipment.
The only down sides were that the bed in the third bedroom was still broken (see previous reviews) it was fine for us as our 5th person was a child but it would not work if there were 6 people or a 5th adult. The microwave was broken and needs to be removed and the locks on the doors to the balcony need fixing as they did not lock. There were shutters so we had to remember to put those down to secure the apartment.
Overall a good stay.
- Anano (9/5): Superb -
- Goran (8/5): Very good -
- Jóhann (4/5): Not worth it - The location was good We really did not like this apartment, small, dirty, MP air condition and terrible beds.
- Jerome (8/5): Very good -
- Ibrahim (2/5): Very poor -
- Kouser (5/5): Passable - I liked the fact that Sabrina was helpful with check in..plus the free WiFi.. and the essentials available...thank you There was no fan or AC in eny other rooms other than the lounge no one could sleep properly plus the smell from the laundry area was just too much to bear had to just sleep with that disgusting smell plus the light in the kitchen was only flickering all the time....
- Dominique (5/5): Passable - Honest review of this apartment.
We arrived at the apartment at 6pm to check in as agreed upon with the host. We made sure we were a few minutes earlier because we were supposed to be charged if we were late. Despite all the communication with the host, we still had to wait for at least almost an hour outside with our luggages.
During our first night, it was very hot. At this writing, it is July 2023, summer. Even though booking.com lists the unit as a space with A/C, IT IS ONLY THE LIVING ROOM that has one. All the rooms didn’t have any method of ventilation. We asked for electric fans, but they said they did not have any. We were drenched in sweat everyday upon waking up. After visiting 5 countries in Europe for this trip, this one has been the least desirable stay.
The heating for the shower also did not work during our first night, so we all had to use the very cold water. We had to go back home mid trip the next day so the boiler could be fixed. You would think these things would have been maintained or readied before a guest arrives
Barcelona is also infamous for theft and pickpockets. We wanted to make sure the apartment windows and doors were locked before we left and explore the city. Unfortunately, the window door locks were broken and we had to request for their maintenance crew, just so that we can make sure our security is assured for each day. You would think they would have thought of this or maintained the locks of the window/doors.
The pictures in the listing were most likely edited as well. The pictures dont truly represent the current state or condition of the furniture. Especially, the picture of the kitchen.
The location was the best thing about this apartment. Sagrada was very close and has nearby restaurants and grocery stores.
This place was definitely a 3 star stay, but with all the aforementioned issues, I’d give this place 2 stars. I would not recommend to any of my friends or family for sure.
- Tereza (9/5): Great appartment in a perfect location. - The location is just perfect, next to the Sagrada Familia, close to restaurants, shops etc. and very well communicated with the city center. The host was very nice and the communication with her very smooth. The appartment is spacious and well equipped. Nothing to mention, all was great (maybe just some small fixes would be needed in the bathroom but nothing that would negatively impact our stay).
