Wouldn’t recommend it. - It was clean I’ll give them that… A lot of cigarette smell coming from the elevator and stuck on the hallways and rooms. No extra pillows, or anything for that matter. The mattresses were twisted and very uncomfortable.

• Martin (9/5): excellent stay all good and I am coming back and look forward to staying with you again - Nice quite hotel not far from station . very clean rooms and the free Internet is very good . lots of small 7 to 11 shops nearby and found a great cafe to have a breakfast before setting off for the days adventures . it was called The Little Mermaid . their is a free breakfast also available in the hotel . if you not bothered about a bar or restaurant ( plenty of these things nearby ) just a really nice clean hotel and friendly staff if you needed help this is a great place for you . I am going back to Japan next year as i did not see everything I wanted to but I am definitely booking this hotel again . no English translations on washing machine took a long time to wash my clothes . just point out the quick wash and that is not a criticism at least you had 2 washes with washing liquid that where free to use .

• JoWei (7/5): Basically everything okay. - Location is really close to the station but not noisy! And you don’t need to hold the room key, only need to remember the password, I like that! The room lights and bathroom lights are dark, hopefully 🛀 light is white not yellow. And the room is small, when I open my suitcase, I couldn’t walk in the room or fully open the door.

• Villafranca (7/5): Great Value - Room was quite spacious for Tokyo. The room had plenty of space for my luggage, and the bathroom is small but honestly larger than the other bathrooms I stayed in (it's still white small though). Wifi was great, heater worked, staff was fairly responsive (which is good since it is an unmanned hotel). Location had a lot of konbini and restaurants around, and so close to the station, it was very convenient. Laundry room is complimentary and they proved detergent. I also think that it was fairly comfortable, especially for the price it was a great value for a solo traveler. As has been noted in some other reviews, there can be a bit of a smell, like cigarettes. I saw there is a bar or event space below the hotel so maybe that's it? But it didn't bother me too much and the hotel had air filters that could be used which was quite helpful. I did use the convenient launderette but I was unfortunately unable to decipher the machine. I wanted to dry something and it ran for an hour and a half and was still damp. Google translate was not helpful for the settings. The room is a little worn, with some wear and tear and marks on the walls and such. Of course, it's still a great value, but if you need a place to feel pristine then this hotel might not be for you. Again, I did enjoy my stay though. Lastly, the location is a short walk from the station, but it did take at least 30 minutes or more to get to the other parts of Tokyo. Like 30+ minutes to get to Ikebukuro or Shibuya, and about an hour or more to go further like Odaiba or Akehabara. So be advised when you plan your trip.
