• Kim (8/5): Our arrival had a minor issue. The host handled it immediately. We loved how close the apartment is to everything. Recom - The location. Close to the popular shopping area and major sights, but far enough from it to be quiet at night The apartment is very nice. Two minor observations: there is no chair (only bar stools) and; the A/C was strained to cool the room. Minor in the big picture.

• Loes (8/5): Perfecte locatie en grotendeels comfortabel, netjes en mooi. - Locatie was perfect, het rustige balkon aan de achterkant ook. De keuken was heel compleet en het feit dat er overal horren waren vond ik ook fijn! De badkamer was klein, vochtig en muf. Duidelijk vochtschade, oud douchegordijn en altijd een paar rioolmugjes aanwezig.

• Ralph (7/5): - Great location, quiet at night but only half a block from a busy tourist shopping street. The price was good for a major city. There was no flat area, but the kitchen's small counter space and the bedside tables for setting a cup or glass. The floor was the only option that worked. The auxiliary bed to be used as a couch/chair was too deep to sit back comfortably. A microwave would be nice to have.

It was a very small bathroom and rooftop was disappointing even though view was good. Asked for single bed to be made up one day prior and it wasn’t. Keys left in lock box didn’t include rooftop or power activation. Terrible smell in the bathroom for the last two days.

• Marcie (10/5): Exceptional - The host was incredibly helpful and so friendly. I had broken my phone and had to call from different phone numbers, he always answered and did come to meet me to help me get the keys/get inside. The apartment was as pictured/described, and very comfortable.
• Swathi (4/5): - The lockbox was hard to find and the owner kept telling me he was sending photos but he didn’t. And then when I asked for help, he said “I already sent you the photos”. There was no lack of concern that a guest was alone and scared about entering the property. I finally figured it out but tough luck if you feel unsure because he doesn’t even pick up his calls.

• Rachel (9/5): Fabulous views - This apartment couldn’t be in a better position for the acropolis, syntagma square and the fabulous walking streets around this area. The roof terrace was an added bonus! Everything you need is there! The bathroom could do with updating, shower curtain doesn’t stop the water leaking everywhere

The residence is so nicely presented. Bed was comfortable. View of the Acropolis on your balcony. I'd rate it as one of the coolest airbnb's i've stayed at. Gorgeous decor. George is an absolute gem. He is responsive, so helpful, and such a nice guy. Nothing. Loved everything about this airbnb

• B (6/5): As described - Great location, suprisingly quiet. Clean and comfy bed. Host said early check in was possible and gave me a time of 2pm, but very unresponsive to messages on the day. The cleaning lady did not turn up till after our agreed time, so I waited for 50 minutes. Allowed me to check in bags 10 min earlier than normal check in time (3pm). But otherwise, do not count on early check in.
• Tom (8/5): Great location! - It’s well located and is easy to get in and and of all the attractions. It’s a bit annoying having to turn the hot water on but not the end of the world.
• Stefan (10/5): Fantastic location in a beautiful neighborhood - The best location in Plaka (old town) - the property is tucked away in a nice a quiet road (no noise at night). Walking distance to most of the main attractions including the Acropolis 5mins and Syntagma train station 10mins (link to airport). Lots of beautiful bars and restaurants around the area. The property itself was great and served us well for a 5 day/ 4 night stay as a couple. 100% would stay here again! Bathroom is a little small but it did’t cause any issues for us. Also there is some small construction going on behind the property. However it seems they start late in the morning so it didn’t cause any trouble for us as we were already up by 9am/9.30am and out for the whole day.

Plus, the building residents were very nice as it was raining one night and they gave us umbrella! The owner is very responsive too. - Bathroom is so small!! - I think apartment was quite cold for me, even though the Air Conditioner works with heating, still it felt cold. - Walls aren't sound proof, you hear almost every thing in corridor. However, people don't party so it's bearable. - Kitchen was missing glasses, only 1 glass for 2 people is a bit weird. - No slippers given and the floor was too cold to walk bare foot. - Coffee machine with no pods! 🙄 In general, I think location is the only reason to stay there, otherwise I would prefer a hotel with better amenities.

Saves lots of money for local travel, most of the attractions are within walking distance. Good small cozy apartment suitable for ONLY 2 people. Good rooftop to enjoy morning and evening coffee. . Good wifi... George is very helpful and responsive. Gives very clear instructions about check in with photos... Need a safety box badly. I asked the owner, he agreed for the installation but later on We didn't have time. Hopefully this is done by now.. lots of old stuff in the cupboard and in the kitchen needs to be removed. Looks earlier visitors have left these few things which are still there. Room size is small but manageable.

Walking distance to Acropolis, to food and drinks, shops etc. George is very kind and always quick responds to questions. We only stayed two nights and didn’t use the kitchen so don’t know if it has things for making your own food. Nothing

Despite earlier notification of arrival time (1pm) and indication that this was fine, apartment had not been cleaned and access was not available until @3pm. It was hot outside!

Easy to get to, great easy to understand instructions, perfectly tucked away from the bustling Plaka streets. Felt very safe and ticked all our boxes. That we didn't stay longer.

• Kim (10/5): A convenient location and well maintained property that offered a pleasant stay. - The location! It was clean well maintained. Fun decor in the kitchen. The property owner was readily available by text. There was a small elevator but it was out of service when we arrived. (This was out of the property owners control.)However, the property owner had a quick solution with an offer of assistance up the winding 3 story staircase with our luggage. This was appreciated. The repair was completed a couple hours later and useful for luggage on the day we left.

• Jefferson (10/5): Best location ever! - Best location you can imagine! walking distance to metro station (wit access to the airport) and very close to touristic spots and best stores and restaurants. in the middle of the crowd you just scape through a calm street and find your place. George communicates very well! suggestion: have breakfast at the Joint Cafe listening to 80’s songs. This was one of the best experiences we ever had! 5 stars!
• Anonymous (10/5): very nice! - George is very kind and prompt to respond to any requests, the apartment was very clean except the pillow cases were a little smelly and the shower curtain was also smelly but everything was just right, I will stay here again and I do recommend this place.
• Riccardo (7/5): (a bit) tiny, (very) central solution - Excellent position (if you want to stay close to the acropolis and the touristic, kind of crowded, area), very central, easy check-in A bit tiny, with something consequently missing (as a table to eat inside or a bathroom cabinet) nothing very limiting for many categories of travellers but to be aware of. Difficult to leave luggages after the checkout: a service which is of course not granted but you may sometimes need (we're around with our 2 years old son with a late flight). Want to stress that this wasn't due to a lack of will by the staff but to the kind of structure. George kindly tried to meet our request, but it was not possible for more than two hours since the room had to be cleaned and there was not space enough).
