- Lilly (8/5): - Wonderful location and clean propert, right in between Notting Hill Gate and Portobello Road. Small but perfect for one or two people. Only thing is there is no air con and it gets quite warm and stuffy in there.
- Jennifer (8/5): - The clean was very clean and perfect for 1 person. I was on the 3rd floor and the room was very very hot. I did use the fan provided and had difficult sleeping because of the uncomfortable temperature. I opened the window and asked for a second fan and was still very uncomfortable. Housekeeping came by to ensure the floor heater was turned off. Aside from that, great location and very walkable. Easy access to metro and great places to eat.

- Dawnelle (8/5): - This was a quaint, modernized flat with a loft. The flat was very clean! Just a heads up, the stairs/ladder to the loft are very steep. Adorable though. However, after long days of sightseeing with thousands of steps, the 3 flights of stairs to the flat and then the ladder were a lot for these two older adults! Disclaimer: This flat was described exactly as it was; 3rd floor with no lift and stairs to the loft. I just thought it was too cute to pass up.

- Katrina (8/5): - Nice and clean in a lovely area. Newly done up and one of the nicest rooms Ive stayed in London. Rooms and beds are on the smaller side and like the other reviews mention no air-conditioning and the room gets really really hot even if the weather isn't warm outside. Limited amenities in the room and shared washing machine is paid and runs on a timer that starts counting down before you start the wash which is a poorly set up system.
- Philip (8/5): City break…Notting Hill - Excellent location and good quality apartment…a little tight on space which was manageable for short stay (4 nights). We encountered a heat wave during our stay and comfort was compromised as no air conditioning.
- Isabel (8/5): - Across the street from the south end of Portobello Road (of market fame), in a remodeled several-story building sit several contemporary doll-house apartments consisting of a compact bedroom with a miniscule kitchen (fridge, microwave, nespresso maker, burner) and a table with two chairs. There's also a bathroom. All of it is nicely put together. The room didn't have space for nightstands by the bed-- great for people who can manage without an extra inch of space.

- Naman (2/5): - Mold all over the bathroom cieling. The whole apartment smelled musty and earthy. After a while my throat began to hurt. I called the property number 3 times to no response. Due to it being a health hazard I booked another property and didn't stay here for the night. WOULD HIGHLY NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!!!

Néanmoins, nous étions dans l’appartement « ground floor » qui était vraiment moyen : Juste à côté de la porte commune qui claque à chaque fois, pas de Clim (il faisait 20 degrés dehors mais bien plus à l’intérieur). On ne pouvait pas dormir la fenêtre ouverte puisque n’importe qui pouvait rentrer dans la chambre. La lumière du couloir ne s’éteint pas ce qui fait rentrer beaucoup de lumière la nuit et le store n’est pas occultant. La douche fuit beaucoup, la table de chevet cassé ou encore pas d’eau froide au robinet… bref c’est moyen mais bien situé, pour 1 nuit c’est ok mais pas plus, on ne dort pas bien malheureusement.
- Misty (8/5): - Property was updated and flat was efficiency studio, lower floor room 3. We had a few issues but the staff was very responsive and accommodated us quickly. They switched us to a lower floor flat due to mobility issues from traveling, they gave us additional instructions for using the onsite laundry (coin only bring pounds with) and when we couldn’t get the stove to work they came right over to troubleshoot and supplied us with a different pan as the stove wasn’t compatible to heat up the cooktop burner. Bathroom was on the small side but nicely done, the shower should be resealed on the bottom as there is a small leak on the toilet side of the shower wall but we just used an extra towel to soak that up. The bed was very comfortable and we slept well. The window opened which offered nice fresh air. There is no AC though which could be an issue if the weather gets hotter, we stayed May 12-16, 2025. I was a little Leary not staying in a hotel, but we had a good experience and enjoyed our stay. There is no elevator and with my knee issues I would not be able to navigate the stairs for the upper flights and renters should keep that in mind. I would stay here again though and just request a lower or ground floor room.

Det var varmt når vi var der, rundt 25 grader, så savnet noe ventilasjon på rommet. Ellers var vi veldig fornøyd, og bor her gjerne igjen.
- Anna (8/5): - Great location, just next to Portobello market, with lots of cafes nearby and less than a 10-min to Notting Hill Gate station. The hallway and room were clean, there was a sink, fridge and cooking top with basic kitchen utensils. There was also a coffee pod machine with pods provided, which I enjoyed a lot! However, there were lots of marks on the walls, the sink MDF was bloomed and the shower enclosure was leaking badly. The pillows were uncomfortable and I wish the room we stayed in was not at the front of the property or faced the road, as it was really noisy and people banging the front door badly whenever they came in and out. Maybe other rooms would not be as bad, but I'm unsure.

- Laura (8/5): Mixed review - Fantastic communication, amazing location, as other reviews have said be aware that there is no lift at the property so there is 3 flights of stairs to get to the the top rooms, if you get the room with stairs on 2 floors also be aware it is not normal stairs they are steep ‘witch stairs’ look them up, it’s like rock climbing to the next floor. The room was very clean overall, there were a few issues, when we first entered the room it smelt like sewage, but we aired it out and it eventually went. The showerhead was not spraying water properly so we had to clean it to make it work, and the sink was not draining water. But overall the towels, bed etc was lovely. The room with the bed in was incredibly small, no storage, nothing, just a bed and a tv on the wall. We were surprised that it was a double bed as the listing said a king size. Upstairs was very spacious, but it was all empty space, which was strange considering the tight squeeze downstairs the space in the apartment could have been utilised better, a sofa or a desk etc could have gone a long way But it really was a mixture of good and bad, the room was lovely, comfortable, amazing view and location and I would recommend it

- Verified traveler (8/5): Good overall stay; no wifi connection - Overall stay was good; check-in was smooth and the property was clean and neat. Great location. However, we had a problem connecting to their wi-fi. We informed them since check-in date and the succeeding days but it did not get sorted. It was very inconvenient as we didn’t have network in the room and we were sorting out important e-mails and bookings.

I would suggest making sure your booking isn’t on the the top floor. The rest of the complex seemed to be at normal temperatures.

- Verified traveler (10/5): Excellent location, modern. - Excellent location at top of portobello road. Clean, new and modern in a gorgeous Georgian terrace. Very well appointed with everything you need in a small studio. No lift or aircon only negatives in a London heatwave!
- Allison (6/5): - I think this is great accommodation in a great area. The communication from hosts was clear and the building was in pristine condition. The bedding and linen crisp and clean. The amenities like a small fridge and a hot plate and coffee maker were all nice to have. And location was ideal. That said the flat I was in (small studio with double bed) was so tiny I could not open my suitcase. It was fine as it was just me. But no way could 2 people be in the space comfortably. Also, there is no ac and I was on the top floor. The window could only open a crack before it hit stoppers and the ceiling fan did not help much. So would I stay again? Absolutely. But only in fall winter or spring. Summer is just way too hot and uncomfortable.
- Lill-Christin Wager (10/5): - Clean and modern apartment at a great location, had everything needed to make your own food. Comfortable bed, double duvet, nice pillows. The view was cute and private. The information/communication before my stay was good and easy to understand. Only things to point out is that the left bed light did not work and neither did the one on the ceiling fan. The shower handle on the inside was broken off so was a bit hard to get out of the shower. The walls are thin and the entrance door very noisy. But I would hands down stay again because the positives outweighs the minor critique. And I noticed that most apartments I stayed in in England do have thin walls. Would also like to note that the cleaner were really polite and nice, which I appreciated a lot! Overall were able to relax and sleep well here after being at Bst Hyde park festival 🤗
- Valeri (6/5): - Check in instructions are misleading. Got the code for the front door, entered the code, intercom said "door opened", but in reality it was still locked (upper lock)! Turned out that lock required a flat key, but to get the flat key you also need to enter through the front door! Ridiculous. Luckily another tenant (who already checked in and had a key) came after 10 minutes and opened the door for me, so I could enter and get my own flat key... What if I arrived very late at night - what would I do? Too risky to book such flats, beware. If you arrive late at night - better book a hotel. As far as the flat is concerned, lets talk about positives: 1. Good location, quiet area, close to the underground. 2. Everything is new and clean. 3. Tea bags, cups, kettle, nesspresso machine, coffee pods - very nice touch, loved it. Negatives: 1. Shambolic switches / electric wiring. You turn on bed lamps - ceiling fan turns on (why?). You turn on ceiling lights - bed lamps turn off. Very random stuff, purely guessing game. Ceiling fan kept turning on even after I turned it off couple of times. What a bizarre situation. 2. Narrow bed (140 cm wide). Not ideal if you are a couple (even if you are very slim / short people). Pillows are too thick, not really comfortable. Overall, just OK for 1 night and very slim / short people (and as long as the landlord sorts out the entrance door).
- Sarah (4/5): Hot, stuffy and cramped basement room - The basement apartment is very small and with only a sash window opening on to a back courtyard, it didn't feel safe to leave this open at night and without any other ventilation or air conditioning, the room was extremely hot and stuffy. Check in was complicated and the key had not been left in the box where it should be by housekeeping. Noise levels from other residents in the building were also disturbing at night.
- Joseph (10/5): - Mixed review. The building location was great. The room was smallish but that was well advertised. The amenities were there but all did NOT work. Most notably was the ceiling fan. Small rooms on hot London days and nights without proper ventilation is rough. Management did NOT fix during my stay but instead offered a small (maybe 4-5 inch) table top fan that was grossly inadequate to cool the room. Ultimately, I ended up buying a larger fan so I could cool enough to sleep. It's unfortunate but it did take away from the experience and management should have had several standing fans to accommodate guests in instances when fan failure occurs. Thus the mixed view. If the ceiling fan had worked, my review would have been close to perfect.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The apartment was very clean, comfortable, and convenient. I very much enjoyed my stay there, the only drawback was that the wifi was not consistent - I only had to work from the apartment for 3 hours and wasn't able to connect that whole time (though later when I was relaxing, Netflix didn't seem to be an issue).
- Christine (8/5): - Tiny apartment but suitable for short stay. Location fantastic. Would be nice if there was a proper door handle as the door is very hard to pull close with the metal "Lip" type handle. Check in was easy and uncomplicated.
- Julie (4/5): HOT room even in Springtime. - The apartment was very cute and certainly sufficient for a month long stay. BUT I would never stay here again and in fact had to check out early. The room was HOT and I mean HOT. Temps were only in the 70s at the most and the little ceiling fan did nothing to move air and cool off the room. It was hard to sleep. We left the window open but the blind kept breaking and so we Couldn’t pull it up to get better air into the room at night. The room smelled like someone had left an onion in it and was almost nauseating when you opened it each time. Mgmt was told and did nothing. Mind you it was a small refrigerator that could have been replaced for the cost of one night in the room and they did nothing. In fact when told they acted like I was crazy. My sister was with me a couple nights and my daughter for a few and they both agreed that the stench when you opened the door was awful. The location was wonderful even with all the construction. Beware though - NO LIFTS - we were on the 3rd floor It’s a lot of stairs to haul Luggage.
- Susan (10/5): - We stayed in a building fairly recently renovated. Attractive, clean, great location just off Portobello Road and about 5-8 minute walk from Nottinghill Gate tube station. Studio apartment small my US standard but average for Europe. I will be a repeat customer!
- Verified traveler (8/5): - The Hotel was good. only one thing to complain is the guess who live above me are very annoying walking middle of the night and early in the morning. I can't sleep well for 4 days.
- Erin (8/5): Fancy digs, small space - Be prepared: very small space. I actually couldn't open my suitcase all the way unless I put it on the bed. The building itself is very modern, and the flat feels brand new. I was lucky enough to get a first floor flat with a balcony. But I actually don't like how they don't let you know or let you choose what type of flat / floor you'll be on when booking. You could end up on lower ground, no balcony, or 2nd floor +. There will be street noise, but I used fans overnight, and it was fine. It was fine for a week, if you don't plan to cook or need a lot of space.

- kim (8/5): - Great location hi spec well finished. I had split level studio with roof garden which was well designed and comfortable. Be careful if you don’t like stairs as I was at the top of the building 4/5 floors - no lift plus the internal stairs to the kitchen are very steep - more ladder like. I would stay again but ensure I took a lower level floor room.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Small yet cozy - I needed somewhere close to Portobello Rd, safe, warm, clean, with a good shower and a firm bed. 1. Locality: Top marks for its proximity to Portobello Rd and Notting Hill Gate. Rrally lovrly neighbourhood . 2. Safety: Someone kept resetting my key lock number so clearly was looking for the key which didnt make me feel very safe. There are cameras in the corridor so i wasn't worried. Hopefully, they work... 3. Warmth: Very warm and cozy in the apartment and corridors. Very happy with this. It creates a lovely welcome home. 4. Bathroom: Very clean and the shower was delightful. No complaints 5. Bed: Not very firm so i didn't sleep too well unfortunately. The refrigerator was loud and woke me up a few times a night. I could also hear noise from the neighbouring apartments. Bedside tables would have been nice. The small studio is indeed small. I didn't cook there as it is literally like cooking in a bedroom.
