• Erskine (3/5): - It was quiet, which is something I rate highly. Yes, the floor had a crack in it and hadn't been mopped in a month. And yes, there was no tea, coffee or water in the room. But what really irritated me about this place is that it doesn't admit to being a hostel. Which it clearly is. But, because it gives itself a style of name common to boutique hotels (ie, Signature), that frees it to give you a tiny room, tack on a tiny bathroom, and charge you hotel money. I came to ST straight from another all-digital 'boutique' establishment that put this place to shame. And for the same money.

• Thomas (9/5): Excellent location, in good shape - The location is excellent. My room was very small but fine for one person who spends the days in the city exploring stuff. The room was clean and everything seemed quite new. The mattress was on the harder side, which I liked. Would go again. It was not as quiet as one would expect given 10 pm quiet time.

• Renata (5/5): - Je to hodinový hotel a při bookovani jsou uvedeny zavádějící údaje, že se jedná o ubytování z jednoho dne na druhý. Po ubytování na vás začnou po pár hodinách klepat, ať vypadněte nebo doplatíte - hnusný zážitek!

• Roberto (6/5): Voor 1 nacht zou het ok zijn maar voor drie nachten niet - De locatie, dicht bij de DT lijn en snel in centrum De kamers waren als een soort tetris inelkaar geschoven, ging met een trap mijn bed in, liggend in mijn bed hoor ik dat recht onder mij de buren slapen en sex hebben, het lijkt wel een soort stapelbed verdeeld over 2 kamers Kamers worden om de 3 dagen schoon gemaakt, dus 3 dagen de zelfde handdoeken.

Overall speaking it's very clean and cosy for a short stay Slippers are too thin so that it can easily get wet after using the bathroom or shower. Air conditioner is a little noisy for sleeping, so i turned it off.

• Mark (8/5): Good location, cheap and comfortable. - Good use of space to fit a comfortable one-night stopover into a double storey shoe-box! Very good value for money and easy access via MRT. Not having a room card (but using app on phone) was a bit of a nuisance, but I can live with it.

I was verbally harassed by men there. Just go to the Subway station and back to the hotel. There is no window in the room for the price I booked.

• AJAY (3/5): - The location I have booked one double bed room with bath for three nights but when I checked in they denied my room with bath when I have shown them my booking they asked $200 extra. 2.when I slept in the room it gave me impression that I am lying on floor then I tried to find out why it was so then I could know the height of bed was only 1.5 feet.3.The room was quite dark and they were using humidiser in the room. I am not satisfied with Booking. Com as well as Hotel Signature Singapore.

The checkin process was needlessly complicated. Having to download an app was slow and cumbersome. The app was used for opening the door which possibly meant only one person can open the door? Not sure if someone else could have downloaded it. Also the app stopped being able to bluetooth open the door after day one so had to enter a long code which was a pain. Everything was wet in the common areas with the floors slippery and the bathroom wet, although I think this was the result of frequent cleaning. They said that they would empty the dehumidifier in the room every day but they did not, which I'd make sure you do if you have any sort of asthma or breathing problems as it caused a flair up. The dehumidifier filled every day so it's important to keep on top of emptying. Also there was an empty condom wrapper down the side of the bed which was a bit grim. This feels like a long list of problems but honestly it's a fine place to stay, just some things that could easily be improved or worth knowing. For its location and value for money I wouldn't let these negatives put you off.
