Please book another hotel. It may be more expensive, but it will be worth it.
Sky Suites is essentially a residential apartment setup and does not really accommodate short stays. My experience aligns with what many other reviewers have mentioned.
We didn’t even get to stay because our travel agent never showed up and completely ghosted us. In hindsight, I’m glad we didn’t stay. The photos shared by other guests were genuinely bad and disturbing.
We had to book another hotel at the last minute during peak holiday season, so prices were extremely high, but we had no choice.
I’ll also admit it was my mistake not checking Tripadvisor reviews. I relied on Booking.com, which I’ve used for over 10 years without issues, so this experience was shocking.

- robertdA6510LX (2/5): CAUTION BEWARE AVOID AT ALL COSTS - Through AGODA I have booked a 6N Suite 6 weeks in advance. All confirmed booked with Confirmation ID. With host provider contact given by AGODA I whatsapped property, Sky Suites KL City Centre. My request for an early check-in and confirmation directly with them on booking. Upon providing all details to property personnel I was told they could not find my booking. Sent AGODA screenshots to him. Was told booking not in their system. I then went back to AGODA who escalated issue with their Supplier. Supplier then advised with their confirmation ID of booking. I then went back to property ( was attended to by same man) who again told me NO BOOKING despite I provided him with Supplier ID Reference. I then again contacted AGODA who told me that booking is done all in order and check again with property to recheck. Again I contacted property, chatted with same guy again who again said NO BOOKING. He then sent me video clip of their booking lists. I then noticed that video clip showed JULY bookings, NOT AUGUST bookings that I have. I then told property personnel of it and asked him to check for August and not JULY bookings. After this there was no response or reply from him. I then contacted AGODA again who strongly advised me that there is NO issue with booking. Further AGODA told me that a property receptionist by name of Ms *** has found the booking upon contact by them. Again I contacted property with screenshots of AGODA email to me with name of said Ms *** requesting him to recheck or confirm with Ms***.
Again no response or reply. Day later I contacted property again for status hoping that by now the issue is solved. I then got a phone call from property personnel, a male voice. He started off by telling me " DON'T DISTURB ME ANYMORE THERE IS NO BOOKING". I then asked him if there is the Ms **** there and was told " NO SUCH PERSON BY THAT NAME". I feeling very annoyed then ended his call and went back to AGODA who then told me to cancel the booking, which I did after that. Upon further checking into different travel websites I found out that for same dates and type of accommodation I have booked the latest price has gone up to A$650. My query then is whether property has chosen NOT to honour my booked deal at the much lower price to maximise their profits at customers expense. Furthermore there is no reason for property personnel to be RUDE on his phone call to me implying that I am the PROBLEM.

- markcO9985TQ (2/5): Sky Suites - to be avoided. - Sky Suits in Kuala Lumpur was a terrible experience. We booked in for 20 days from June 19th. Our flight was delayed. We emailed to say we would not be able to check in until 20th. They cancelled the full 20 day booking and refused to refund the €800 we paid to secure the booking. My wife is disabled and we were left without accommodation. To date they will not return our calls.

The apartment was not clean, with a significant amount of dust everywhere, affecting the overall air quality. Furthermore, the host provided inconsistent information about their role, initially claiming to be staff, then claiming to be the boss when we asked to speak to the person in charge. This unprofessionalism was compounded by poor customer service, as the host became rude and angry when we requested to cancel the booking. Overall, the experience was disappointing. I don’t recommend this place to anyone. Worst experience ever.

There are multiple signs saying no Air BNB/ booking.com allowed - and will be fined if you are a temporary guest here. Not allowed to leave bags in lobby, or be seen as a short stay guest. Told there was places to keep bag after checkout but when checking out told we are no longer able to do so. Bathroom had a very strong drainage smell.

There’s a convenient store across & food truck selling local kue and nasi lemak which is very nice. Also the sink in the bathroom did not drain adequately and the bathrooms had a general foul odour. The building location is very good and close to Petronas towers and the apartment itself is good but not properly managed.

Checkin at 4 pm check out 11 am next day . While booking this info is not there . Once u book money is stuck . No refund, no water kept ,No basic things kept in the apartment .No cleaning the guest has to carry the garbage after check out .they charge u. Heavy fees which is not even for one day . The buldg rule says no air bnd but the whole mgmt and buld Ns security is aware of this scam.

"Disgusting DO NOT BOOK THIS PLACE. I only wish we had looked at TripAdvisor before booking this place and seen all the negative reviews , my word they are so accurate. The apartment B2-6-1 was filthy, broken furniture, dirty bed linen and towels, a live cockroach walking across the cooker, a live cockroach in our bed, broken toilet, a hole in our bedroom wall.This was sold to us by Booking.com. I have emailed them numerous times, even personal to the directors, but have had no response from anyone, I have sent pictures and videos, nothing. I have sent same to the Apartments, no response. On arrival we had to hand over 200 ringets as a deposit !!!! We tried contacting Apartments to change our room and was completely ignored. On leaving 2 days later a man eventually arrived and insisted on taking our luggage, a 40mtr walk to security gate, in his car and wouldn't return our deposit until he had done so, one of our party jumped into the passenger seat with him and once outside asked for our deposit in exchange for the RESIDENTS PASS.These Apartments are actually RESIDENTIAL it actually states NO AIR B&B OR SHORT TERM STAY at the security gate, hence having to hide our luggage on arrival and departure. These Apartments are a scam and Booking.com should not be advertising them."

- Ali (7/5): Pleasant - Fast lift It’s somehow illegal to rent it as airbnb. So we cant bring our luggage through the front gate. Instead the owner have to take our luggage and make us to collect it at their parking lot inside the condo

We contact again the number given, but then advised to contact the tiket.com where we book the property. We contact the new number from tiket.com, but no pick up nor responses. Somehow, new number whatsapp us, give instruction for check in, and then murmuring say something like cancel book on voice notes. We reply and call, but no response or pick up the call.
Second flag, we came to the property at about 5 PM (check in time is 4PM), contact to all numbers given but no response. And then rain is falling, no place for us to shade. We had 2 kids and 1 elderly with us, imagine how panic we are to find shelter. Yet, the guys no response at all.
We keep contact Tiket.com to resolve the issue since this is not refundable. Tiket.com ask us proves that we have been denied to check in. We give the chat screenshot to show there is no responses, and voice notes that murmuring about cancel booking. At 8 PM, we can no longer bear the situation, enough is enough, everyone get tired already, and we decide to book another place nearby (which we got smooth entrance). At 9.30 PM (when we are on the way to the new place), Tiket.com telling us that operator said no issue with the booking, check in is open and waiting for us to come. I said, no, we have new place already. We have been waiting there 3 hours, part of it was under the rain, we are all wet.
I heard there are many operators in Sky Suite KLCC, I dont know how to identify them thru booking online, and unsure which one is good or bad. After we gave all the proof of screenshot whatsapp chat and call (no response), Tiket.com refund it to us two days after.
Sky Suite KLCC is walking distance to infamous Twin Tower Petronas, it is great location. But book at your own risk as there is notice for short stay rentals.
- Syahidah (2/5): Dissapointing service - Its clean and have complete basic amenities Unfortunately i did not stay in Sky Suites KLCC but last minute change to other unit in Bukit Bintang. Command was not clear, even the staff guiding us is very confused. 1 key/access card definitely wont be enough especially when you are travelling with family. Very hard to enter the unit when you are separated with other family members and staff where not available to help since its already night. After having difficulties to park our car ( because staff said we can park anywhere, but anytime we parked, he asked if we can move our car to another spot, that is nearer to the lift ). Dont you have a designated parking? Or why dont you choose a spot first so we can park somewhere near to that spot. And even after entering the unit, the staff wants us to follow him so that he can show is where to drop the key when we want to check out. Is it realy necessary? We just arrive and you ask us to go back downstair? Maybe you can provide picture or video to the mail box for us to refer.

Many eating places from fine dining on roof top to decent meal by roadside. I saw many visitors with luggage are not allow to enter premises when they took grab prior to check in. It seems like only for those drove in easily to check in and unload luggage at carpark area

- razalisakyok (2/5): Skysuites at KLCC - I booked Skysuites at KLCC for 28 Dec 24 to 01 Jan 05 for family of four. Upon arrival around 2200 hours, owner was not contactable I.e. WatsApp, calls unanswered. I spoke to a few others at the Security Post and alas, we were all in the same situation! One Malaysian man had brought 30 odd Indonesians and had to source alternatives.
I booked via Agoda, again, another substitute at the same premises. Alas, the same occurred, this time owner picked up his mobile but mentioned someone is using his number and he's not managing the property!!
We ended booking via Agoda, Tamu Hotel at Bandar Baru and it was fine.
Till today, I'm waiting for my refund from the 1st booking with Agoda saying "property policy of no refunds for no-show". What the heck - user no show, forfeit. If owner no show, then what? They should be banned and punitive measures enforced.

- Rahayu (8/5): difficult access - Near from KLCC and the best view petronas tower access to the apartment is difficult because the apartment is a private residential area. unprofessional in serving tenants because they have to drop items outside the apartment fence. not like an apartment for commercial purposes.dirty washing machine

Upon arrival we were greeted by the host, taken to the property which smelled fresh and clean.
The rooms are all spacey and clean, the view was breathtaking, we can see the whole KLCC and the twin towers, the AC was reliable, the electricity and water worked at all times, the beds are all comfy, the kitchen had everything we need.
Clean towels, shower gels, soaps, dental kits and toilet rolls were all provided.
The property is 5 minutes walk from Suria shopping mall and is very central to go anywhere around.
I would definitely recommend this place as it made my holiday so beautiful and comfortable.

- Camper53715183089 (2/5): Scam alert !! - DO NOT book this place!! I booked 5 nights for myself and my 2 children. Communication was so bad with the suite manager. I had to wait half an hour before we could check into level 28 room 2, , not great start to my holiday after a long flight! Then the agent asked for $200 deposit in cash which he said he will return if we leave the flat tidy. First red flag was when he took us secretly to our flat and told us not to use main lift. Another red flag was the condition of the room. The room was dirty and towels were stained. There was no cutlery to use. The washing machine did not work. I had to take my clothes to laundromat. When I tired to use it, it just moved everywhere and made loud noises. Bathrooms were disgusting. Kitchen had cockroaches and rat baits were behind the washing machine. Toilet was leaking and there was sewage smell. Rooms were not serviced in the 2 days I stayed there. Final breaking point was power got disconnected. We arrived around 6pm from our tour to find a power company notice on the door for unpaid bill and disconnection notice. Called Nadeem the agent and he told us it will be sorted in 30 minutes, 2 hours later we still had no power. I had to find another accommodation in the middle of the night urgently as my children needed bath and food. Nadeem the agent did not respond. Booking .com were t useless. Lost my money. This place do not allow short term stay or air b n b so why is it advertised on booking..com ? It is illegal and people running this as a business need to be fined. So disappointing and will never come back to Malaysia again, such a horrible experience thank god it was off peak season and I found another place to stay. Legal action should be taken against these people who are running a business l.

- Scenic28909190450 (2/5): A huge scam of cash - The entire thing was a scam. The suite rooms never even existed in the first place. And even the moderators are lazier than a lazy pig. They even blocked my parents' number when they wanted to contact them so we had no place to sleep for the entire night. The security guards, however, were nice and helpful. But still I do not reccomend to even book it. Many people get scammed too. Let the admins go broke for everything they do.
- spidergirl_KL (6/5): Near KLCC apartment minus luxury. - Do not book here if you are expecting luxury stay. Very cramped lift lobby, narrow driveway and parking lots.
I booked 3 bedrooms unit. Was given Block B. The floor was dusty, but the rest of the area looked cleaned. No fluffly and soft pillows. Only basis mattress and pillows. Unit with TV n wifi. You have to log in to your own Netflix account to watch.
The shower floors are stained badly. No swimming pool, gym or playground.
Many operators are renting out the units, despite " no air bnb and short-termm stay allowed" notices pasted around the place.
We were warned no luggage in the lobby or guard house, else fined RM200.
Place is busy with people waiting for lift at the lobby. And infront of the guard house.
The only attraction is the less than 5 minutes walk to KLCC.

- Charles (9/5): Fabulous stay - They responded in minutes, came and picked us and showed us our rooms. We arrived a bit earlier, but they allowed us to check into one apartment as we waited for the other one to be cleaned.

First of all, the apartment does not allow any short-term rental stays (be it AirBnb or booking.com etc.) so all guests had to wait outside of the guard house and I waited for over 30minutes to finish the check-in process since the owner kept passing me around from one contact number to another and the workers are Bangladeshi/Indians with minimal English or Malay and IQ lower than a duck (I have photographic evidence of my check-in process by the roadside with other guests). Second, my payment did go through on booking.com (I have a proof of payment) but they insisted I pay again directly to their account via card payment (I assume this is to prevent booking.com from refunding us and so that I won't be eligible to write this review and they can delete anytime). Third, since their business is done "illegally", guests were not allowed to access the lobby and instead they took us to our room by driving us in an unofficial car straight to the apartment lift from the residential parking (Again, I have photographic evidence of the no-short term stay notice on the property). Fourth, which I think is the worst part, this company tried to write the review on my behalf, without my consent on booking.com, using my account and gave themselves a 10 star rating which is completely unacceptable. My best guess is they are able to do this since they took a picture of my booking number and pin upon my check-in by the roadside. When I confronted them, they refused to understand and admit to this (I have screenshots of our conversation) and multiple numbers are messaging me on Whatsapp asking questions but refuse/unable to understand a word I say. I never write such lengthy complaint but I feel obliged to do this to save others
