- Verified traveler (4/5): Would never book - The stay was cancelled with no explanation and whilst I got a refund, I booked it at the time I did as I realised it would be a struggle to find accommodation at this time. It was a struggle and obviously at a later date cost more. Annoyingly it has never been removed as a booked stay and thay has probably made me madder than anything else.
- Asta (4/5): Good for a quick stay however service and cleaniness needs major improvement. - The bed was very comfortable and bathroom had good shampoo and shower gell It was dirty in places that werent obvious, for example down the sides of the bed was dirty and under the bed had clearly never been cleaned. There was black mold in the shower. The room had no tv remotes and none of 2 tvs could be used. Furthermore we arived 10 minutes after check in time and the room was still being cleaned and the staff hygiene was not very pleasant.

Late check in available too but staff were very helpful online. The rooms are smaller than what they look like in pics, the bath room was quite small and cramped too, small toilet too. Ideal for one person stay pushing to two, stayed with my friend and it was feeling a little cramped. No physical person at reception , done online

- Samina (1/5): Bad - Nothing Do not stay here. Trust me just pay more and stay somewhere else. There’s no window no AC rooms are tiny and grotty with no light. My bed had bedbugs so I had to leave and book elsewhere. The building is completely unstaffed and the building door unlocked so absolutely anyone can walk in off the street and up to your rooms if they wanted to. Felt really really unsafe so wouldn’t recommend any women to stay here especially if you are alone.

We couldn’t check in until 3pm, which was unpleasant as we travelled from a far distance. We just stayed for 1 night there, and left very early in the morning.

- Basso (8/5): Worth the money but some problems to solve - We liked the fact that it was fairly close it was to the city centre, they provided us with a fan (we went during a heat wave), the kitchen was small but had everything you needed (they provided tea/coffee/milk/oatmilk/sugar), the bed was comfortable and the check-in easy, we didn’t experience any noise from the neighbors! It was cleaned but very very very dusty tbh, no salt and a sponge to clean the dishes in the kitchen which could have be provided, the area it’s not the best (we didn’t feel too safe but we also didn’t feel to bad about it), the noise from the street could be a problem for a light sleeper (loads of sirens that contribute to the fact we didn’t feel too comfortable about the area)

- Verified traveler (6/5): Small and pokey - Most of the photos on the hotel show spacious rooms, with furniture, and lighting. Honestly the room we had we small, cramped, and had a single light. The sink is small to fit the minimal space allotted, which makes it hard to brush your teeth. The windows where single glazed, and ALL sounds of the street could be heard clearly. The room was also BAKING. The tiny little fan provided didn't do anything to cool the room down. Honestly couldn't sleep at all the first night there. Unlikely to return.

- Mariyam (8/5): - Having read some reviews only after booking I was somewhat dreading seeing the room however was pleasantly surprised. If you are claustrophobic, just pay extra for the space as it is well worth it. Service was fine. I was able to get a later check out and luggage storage access when emailing customer service. They also provided new towels when asked. Cleanliness could have been a bit better as there was some limescale on the shower but this didn't bother us enough to complain, especially due to the price we paid which is decent for London. One of the blindes string was broken so I did have to roll it up my hand. One of the windows also didn't stay open but we wedged a picture frame in which did the job. It was loud outside at night but this is no fault of the accomodation so nothing I could fault them for and I don't agree with those complaining about this. All in all, good area to be in, comfortable room. The TV reception wasn't great but we spent most of the time outdoors anyway. I would stay again if on a budget.
- Talena (8/5): - Let’s just say I needed an air conditioner. I was so hot. It was a fan in there so I will put that next to the bed. but the fan was super dusty. Also, I advised writing down the codes and keeping them with you while you go out and about because my phone was stolen while I was in London but thankfully, the guy who helped me look for my phone. Let me call the hotel from their phones so they can let me in the building in my room. What’s a very small room, but I don’t care cause it’s only me. It was kind of on a noisy street, but that also didn’t bother me that much. Just make sure you close the windows cause they were open when I walked in so that help kept the noise down overall not a bad experience was cheap for a quick weekend so I didn’t mind it. It was a 20 minute walk from borough, market, which was nice.

- Keisha (4/5): - I didn't actually complete my stay. I couldn't get over how tiny the room was. I wouldn't recommend the single room for anyone who suffers even the slightest from claustrophobia. From what I could see, the toilet and shower were very clean. There is no lift so I would caution anyone who has a lot of baggage.

Decor is a bit depressing and dark in the main room especially when the window is so small. Location is great for London Bridge and Bermondsey street full of bars and restaurants is directly across the road. Good stay and will go back (I am an ex Londoner so know what to expect with noise but can appreciate the reviews saying as such. You will get this in most cities to be fair.
- Kiran (4/5): - Window to our room was broken, so could not open in the heat. Everything was very dusty, I had to wipe it down. No reception is difficult because if you need something, you did not get a reply until the next day (or not at all)
- Claire (4/5): Needs refurbishment and some air conditioning. - The check in process was straightforward. Good location although not near a station. I had knowingly booked a mezzanine room but was not aware of the extremely steep stairs and dormer bedroom with sloped ceilings making it hard to even get into bed. The room was incredibly hot even with 3 portable fans set up. The noise from the road outside was constant. Being pregnant this room was really unsuitable and not worth the money at all. The room was not cleaned during stay with no sign to hang on the door to request a clean and there was no coffee or tea left, only sugar.

Room was just what we needed with twin very comfy beds.. Items that were missing were delivered to use very quickly. Shower facilities were really lovely and such a nice touch having the showergel, shampoo provided. Towels lovely and soft. I would definitely use this again & recommend it to others.

Thanks for the kettle, tea and coffee. Beds were okay. It was a cramped space for two people. The bathroom was exceptionally small and their was damage in some areas. There was also no drinking water available.
- Emma (6/5): - Communication and check in details were clear and straight forward, and arriving and getting into the property was easy. We didnt see any staff but expected that, we had contact details in case we needed someone but we didnt. We were on the top floor which was fine for us as there is no lift which was made clear in the booking info. It was 30 degrees when we visited and the room was roasting! No air con but a fan had been provided and the windows open so not too bad. The room is tiny and the stairs to the loft room and bed are very steep with low cielings so if you are tall beware! One night was fine for us but i wouldnt have wanted to stay longer as its very basic. Unfortunately the kettle had to be plugged in and held as there was no surface to stand it on that reached a socket, and there was no coffee provided. The shower needed a descale and there was no hot water which was ok as it was so hot out but not the greatest experience early morning. The plug socket in the bedroom was coming off the wall so didnt use it. Checking out was easy nothing to do but leave, the fire alarm went off just as we were leaving suprisingly no info in room on what to do. This property is not close to the overground or underground station, Tower Bridge is about a 15-20 min walk and Elephant & Castle is 25 mins. The area is residential with a school opposite and a few shops but didnt explore far as we went to the 02 for a gig. All in all not the best for the price but ok for one night.

- Luca (8/5): Very good - Location near to public transport and grocery shop. Soundproof room with closed window. Steep stair to go to bedroom, low roof above bed, quite warm but with ventilator

- Joan (6/5): - This is an only a good place to stay. There is no hot water (it is only luke warm). The sink is so small that you can't out both hands under the faucet without making a mess with the water. Again, this is just good to sleep in.

- Kenneth (2/5): Very poor - Clean and comfortable bed. The co2 monitor was smashed. There was no plug in the tiniest toilet and bathroom I have ever experienced. Ties were lifting on the floor. Will never be stopping here again.

Had tea and Coffee Had a cracked shower floor which we complained about and no one did anything about it as it was dangerous. Was quite noisy as next to a busy street, 15 min walk from tube station so not to bad. Rooms are quite small to not much room at all. Doesn’t have a chair for a dressing table
- Agustin (8/5): Very good - Location-wise and budget-wise, you get your money’s worth. There was some water leaks that flooded a bit of the bedroom floor. Told this to the staff but got no response. The staff however were active in helping us with the radiator and heater set up. Probably because the leaks happened during our check out time.
- Jan (10/5): Exceptional - Very easy and smooth process and access access. Rooms was always clean and nice. I like this place.
- Hannah (6/5): - Room was lovely and had everything we needed but it was filthy and felt like it hadn’t been given a proper clean in ages. Everything was dusty, there were crumbs everywhere from previous guests, hairs left in the shower, some sort of sticky substance on the floor near the bin and rubbish (parts of sweet packets) swept under the bed.

There’s a 24/7 convenience store across the street which was nice. Overall, would recommend to someone traveling on a budget.

- Darren (4/5): Expensive and disappointing. - Property and room were clean and in a good location. Room was extremely hot with no fan or air conditioning available. State of shower head meant water went all over the bathroom floor. Hand soap was empty. TV didn’t work as aerial didn’t pick up any channels.
- Stephen (3/5): Good value but not enjoyable at all - The location was good The pictures are not accurate on booking.com There is no daylight blinds in the bedroom. There is one socket on a diagonal wall, which means you can’t plug a kettle in unless you are a balancing practitioner. The stairs to the mezzanine are surely not legal and dangerous. The mezzanine is way too low. It’s good value but the pictures on booking.com are not representative.

- Lyn (8/5): Very good - A couple of issues we had were dealt with very quickly and efficiently . This would not deter us from recommending to others. Mezzanine stairs in room 307 were a little unsuitable for a couple in their seventies..however this was resolved very quickly with a room change.

Our room was nice and clean and had all the amenities that we might need (hangers, kettle, coffee, drinking glasses ect.) I had contacted the property at least twice over the few weeks before our stay asking about luggage storage and they gave little to no information except the fact that it was available, which I already knew as they advertise this. When we arrived in London, I followed up on this by asking how to access the luggage storage as we wouldn’t be gaining check in information until 3pm but wanted to leave our bags there at 12pm (there is no reception on property). I contacted via the WhatsApp and was given immediate response saying that an email with all the luggage storage details would be sent over to me. After 40 minutes there was still no email so I texted again. I got no response for over an hour. My partner then tried to call twice after we had reached the property to no avail, but eventually we got the information after much frustration and anxiety. The hotel claim to have 24/7 correspondence which is evidently not true as I also contacted them through booking.com which also got no response. We met another couple outside the hotel that was also having trouble getting the details for luggage storage from the receptionist ’team’. We booked a room with no windows which I do NOT recommend! This isn’t actually the hotels fault as we did not think that much about how the room would be but it was ROASTING hot. There was a fan in the room that was not much help and there was no air con. The room was very basic and small, the bathroom was tiny, and the location was not the best for the price that we payed. Have to say that the bed was incredibly comfortable though. The location is about a 10 minute walk from Tower Bridge and about a 20 minute walk from London Bridge, and had a few nice restaurants and pubs around the place, which was really the only benefit of this hotel except for the comfortable bed. The surrounding area of the hotel is not the nicest and there is no tube station close to the property. There are a few helpful buses outside the hotel tho.

- Eduardo (5/5): Noisy and worn out in a good location - It’s in good location Windows facing the street with a lot of noise during the night and no insulation against noise or heat - it was hot on the first day and travelled in May, would never recommend it for peak summer. It’s also very worn out, the shower, the mattress, the pillows… everything has hints of used

- Elise (4/5): Disappointing stay in London - Overall, the room was very disappointing. The bathroom was smelly and the tap / shower head were not clean. The room had a weird side door behind a pillar that was locked but without a key and I kept wondering if someone might be able to come in. There was no way to shut down the natural light coming from the light well, no curtains or shutters and I was awake with the sunrise at 5am. The light well itself was disgusting, with purple mold growing on it. The space above the bed was clearly unfinished and the mattress over-used. I would definitely not come back and not recommend.

It is within walking distance of local shops and takeaways. Tower bridge is a 25 min walk away The room comfortable but a bit cramped for two. There is not much room for large luggage and the bathroom could do with a shelf to put your toiletries on
- Christiana (6/5): - Checking in was an issues, my mistake on the email, the bathroom was so small, no handwashing soap or cream. The room was too hot, we ended up opening the window and the traffic noise was unbearable. We could hear the person on the room above walking all night and anytime they flush their toilet we can hear it. All in all not a very nice place to spend a night
