• Deborah (10/5): Amazing holiday, fabulous host & gorgeous food 😋 - My son & I have just returned from a fabulous few days at A Roman Tale. Valerio was just the most perfect host ever & we cannot speak highly enough about him. A Roman Tale is a beautiful B & B within walking distance to all the amazing places to visit in Rome. If you don’t wish to walk, the train station is literally a 2 minute walk away. Rome is a magical place & a must visit if you love your history, want to eat amazing food & meet lovely people. We have left a piece of our hearts in Rome for sure & cannot wait to visit our lovely friend Valerio again. Please book, you will love it,but more importantly, you will be looked after by the loveliest, kindest person we have ever met on holiday. Nothing!

Verten vår Valerio fulgte tett opp med masse nyttig informasjon, bl.a. i forbindelse med at vi fikk behov for selvinnsjekk pga forsinket ankomst. • Stephen (8/5): Everything was very nice except for the inconvenience of using the bathroom. - Clean, spacious, comfortable room. While our bathroom was “private”, we did have to exit our room, enter into a hall to get to bathroom. Had I known that in advance, I would not have stayed there.

We opted for the room breakfast and we were not disappointed with the selection and quantity of food. Also gave recommendations for food/drinks around the area.Room was secure. You will not be disappointed if you have opted to stay here(Thank god for the lift) N/A

• Richard (10/5): A wonderfully comfortable room with breakfast for our first visit to Rome - Valerio was kindly there to meet us upon arrival and pointed out important points re the facilities. He recommended restaurants to us - which was very useful , and told us we could contact him at any time. Nothing - we really enjoyed our stay. The room was spacious and comfortable , quiet and cool at night - we didn’t use the air conditioning. The breakfast supplied by Valerio was outstanding - we definitely were unable to eat everything. The furniture in the room had been restored by Valerio himself and suited the room/ building
• Martin (7/5): Gute Lage ansonsten eher enttäuschend , obwohl der Gastgeber sich viel Mühe gegen hat , uns mit viel - Gute Lage direkt in Nähe des Bahnhofes , Voucher für Frühstück in einer guten Bar . Unser Zimmer war deutlich abgewohnt, Schränke zum Teil defekt , winziges Badezimmer . Müsste dringend renoviert werden. Der angrenzende Fahrstuhl extrem laut und auch in der Nacht in Betrieb, so dass der Schlaf dadurch gestört war .

• Leonieke (9/5): We hebben 4 fantastische dagen gehad. - Ligging is top; vlak bij station. Alles is netjes schoon en goed geregeld. Wij hebben een heerlijk verblijf gehad. Ontbijt (voorverpakt) op de kamer is goed geregeld. We sliepen aan de straatkant waar de hele nacht door veel lawaai is. Met het raam open was (door)slapen niet te doen.
• Jutta (10/5): - 10/10 – Wir haben uns im B&B „A Roman Tale“ vom ersten Moment an rundum wohl und herzlich willkommen gefühlt. Die Lage ist perfekt, sodass wir alles bequem zu Fuß erreichen konnten. Valerio ist unglaublich freundlich und aufmerksam und hat unseren Aufenthalt wirklich besonders gemacht. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber, ruhig, gemütlich und liebevoll eingerichtet. Auch das Frühstück war lecker und ein perfekter Start in den Tag. Für uns war alles einfach perfekt – wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen.

La atención del personal es excelente. Recomiendo coger la opción del desayuno en la habitación, tiene de todo.

• Stephanie (9/5): Ein rundum perfekter Aufenthalt in Rom - wir kommen sicher wieder! - Das Zimmer war sehr sauber und gemütlich eingerichtet. Die Barock-Möbel machten das Zimmer außergewöhnlich. Valerio, unser Gastgeber, war immer bei Fragen, Bitten sofort erreichbar und hat alles für uns möglich gemacht (u.a. Koffer noch bis zur Abfahrt in der Unterkunft stehen lassen dürfen). Mein Sohn und ich haben von der Unterkunft Rom fussläufig erkunden können. Sehr nahe am Bahnhof und die beste Pizza gegenüber. Wir hatten das Zimmer Lavanda mit dem Badezimmer direkt neben unserem Zimmer. Das war kein Problem für uns. Das Frühstück auf dem Zimmer war sehr reichhaltig. Im Kühlschrank lag Wurst und Käse, Saft, Milch und Butter. Der Kapsel-Kaffee war sehr lecker. :-) Vielen Dank für unseren ersten Aufenthalt in Rom. Wir würden auf jeden Fall wieder bei Valerio buchen.

• GRENIOLE (10/5): Rome est devenu notre Ville de prédilection - les gens - l'accueil - tout est génial - Très bel petit endroit calme et bien placé - non loin du métro et de la gare de train. Propreté et personnel au top - échanges et beaucoup d'attention du propriétaire pour veiller à notre bien être - Lit confortable - salle de bain à part mais vraiment très pratique car juste à coté. Petit déjeuner avec choix le frigo qui faisait un bruit moteur dans la nuit (mais pas tout le temps ouff) et je suis sensible au bruit lors de mon sommeil cela me réveille.

A 5 min de Termini. Esmorzar variat i abundant. Valerio és encantador i està pendent de tot! El bany és d’us privat però es troba fora de l’habitació. Està ben insonoritzat de l’exterior, però el veins se senten una mica.

• Dawn (10/5): Beautiful, excellent & exceptional B&B - A Roman Tale B&B was absolutely beautiful. From making our reservation to leaving yesterday Valerio our host was amazing. Valerio provided us with all information regarding our accommodation, travel options, restaurants recommendations. Very easy to get to from Rome airport then a train ride to Termini station. We walked then around 5-7 minutes to the B&B. We had every morning really nice breakfast at Santa Maria cafe pastries were fresh and the choice was great. Coffees were good to plenty of choice. The accommodation was exceptionally clean. Hairdryer a few toiletries.The bed was extremely comfortable and the room was tastefully decorated. Nice little touches. Little fridge if you need it. Would definitely recommend this B&B if visiting Rome it is the perfect location to travel to all the major sightseeing destinations. We walked mostly as we enjoy walking but you can get public transport very easily close to the B&B. Thank you Valerio for your wonderful hosting. The fact we could not have stayed longer! There is nothing not to like about this B&B.

Além disso, é possível conhecer grande parte das principais atrações de Roma caminhando. O quarto é cheio de cuidado. A cama e travesseiros são bem confortáveis. A limpeza é diária e impecável. O café da manhã segue o estilo clássico italiano e pode ser servido em um local próximo ou no próprio quarto — permite escolher o que for mais conveniente. O anfitrião, Valerio, é impecável: extremamente atencioso, amável, prestativo, educado e gentil. Nos recebeu com muito carinho, explicou tudo sobre a acomodação e ainda deu várias dicas sobre o que fazer e onde comer nas redondezas. Uma experiência excelente. • Dandrilli (10/5): - Valeroi is an exceptional host. He is most accomondating and helpful. He helped us make restaurant reservations and ordering a private driver for our ride to the airport. The room was very clean, comfortable and extremely conveniently located.. The breakfast that was included with our stay was very incredible, so much cured meats, cheeses and pastries. When we return to Rome we will definitely want to stay here again...! Everything was most satisfactory.

Attentive, kind and with astouding communication ability and style; prompt replies, useful details, always thorough and generous with his time and sharing. Also loved the room... very clean. Location is superlative!! 3 mintes from Termini. All was well. Some might find it a bit noisy, we did not mind.

Zimmer, Bad, Bett soweit gut. mit recht lautem Straßenlärm und feiernden Restaurant Gästen in den untenliegen Gastgärten muss man rechnen. Valerio, der Vermieter, ist auf alle Fälle verlässlich! Es gibt als Frühstück ein Lunch Paket im Zimmer, oder in der Osteria Santa Maria ein "italienisches" Frühstück. Wir gingen ums Eck zur Osteria. Es gab täglich pro Person einen Kaffee, zwei getoaste Weißbrot Scheiben mit Butter und Marmelade, sowie ein Crossaint. Keinen Saft, kein Wasser, kein Obst oder Gemüse, oder sonstige einfache Speisen, welche man zB. zu einem kontinentalen Frühstück sonst so bekommt. für unseren Hunger leider zu wenig und Gesund ist das eher auch nicht. Zusätzliche Getränke waren natürlich zu bezahlen. Vielleicht ist Frühstücks Paket im Zimmer besser.

Der Kühlschrank war gefüllt mit Lebensmitteln fürs Frühstück und für jeden Tag war eine kleine Tüte gepackt mit reichlich Essen für zwei Personen. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber und der Inhaber Valerio war super nett! Hat uns Tolle Tipps für Rom gegeben und war immer erreichbar. Die Lage ebenfalls sehr gut. • Ruta (10/5): Wonderful stay in Roman Tale B&B - We were very nicely welcomed by wonderful host Valerio with plenty of tips where to go for for meal and ice cream. All information was provided before arrival wirh very easy instructions how to self check in. We had early flight and also had an option to check in earlier which was very helpful to recharge energy before exploring Rome. Location is pretty central and within walking distance, but also very handy that Termini station is round the corner so if you want to use public transport there are plenty of options. Breakfast bags had so many options even I have gluten intolerance, so thanks Valerio for extra efforts, will be back one day.

Ook zelf keuze of je wel of geen schoonmaak wilde en handdoekenwissels. Bedden waren prima. Het was wat improviseren om in de kamer te kunnen ontbijten. Een iets groter tafeltje was welkom geweest, maar dat weegt zeker niet op tegen de vele voordelen. We zouden deze kamer zo weer boeken.

• Ling (10/5): Wonderful! - We had a wonderful stay! The apartment is in a quiet and safe neighborhood near the train station, with a beautiful view of the street from the balcony. Its location is excellent — just a short walk through a lovely park takes you straight to the Colosseum. The room is tastefully decorated with an artistic touch — very clean, stylish, and cozy. The host was exceptionally warm and attentive, preparing coffee and snacks for us and even sharing great recommendations for local Roman cuisine. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Rome!

Helpful and answer guickly questions. I wish we could have used the beautiful garden. We have no complaints absolut the living!
• Jana (10/5): #Roma - Valerio is a very kind and attentive host who truly thinks of every detail. It was the first time we had experienced a host contacting us before our arrival to provide lots of useful information about our stay — which was amazing! Valerio gave us clear instructions regarding the accommodation and shared many great tips for restaurants and pastry shops. This made our experience in Rome even better because we could rely on his recommendations. The location of the accommodation is also absolutely perfect — everything is within walking distance. The room was well-prepared and everything was in order. The bed was comfortable, although personally, I’m not a fan of the French-style blanket (one shared blanket for both guests). We also had the option to choose our preferred type of breakfast — either served in the room or at a nearby restaurant. Next time, we would definitely go for the restaurant option. While the breakfast packages were great and more than sufficient, the lack of fresh bread wasn’t entirely comfortable for us — but I wouldn’t consider it a flaw, since we were given the choice :) We simply chose the wrong option for us. We would definitely recommend staying at Valerio’s place — ten out of ten! And if we ever return to Rome in the future, it will be to this place only. Thank you! -

Lots of food and drinks for breakfast provided which was great value for money. Great location next to station and metros. Comfy bed and soft towels. Great air con. Good size room. There is a lot of noise from the street through the night.

• Mylinda (10/5): We really enjoyed our stay and the location was exactly what we wanted. The Juliette balcony was a nice feature also. - Our host, Valerio, was absolutely amazing. He was in constant contact with us and offered help when we were lost. 🤦🏻‍♀️ He even taught me a few Italian words. Our room was very nice and comfortable. We loved that it was located very close to the Termini station and many restaurants and shops.

The owner set us up with enough food to eat in the room which we appreciated. Complete with tea and coffee. And wonderful deli meats and cheeses. The room is small. But it was fine for me and my daughter. We had a balcony that over looked the courtyard. It was quiet considering all the hotels and residences around us. Lots of restaurants and much within walking distance. Nothing. It was very special. Even the courtyard was very green.

Lovely apartment looking out over a courtyard with birds singing. Situated just minutes away from the Railway station. Valerio gave us some excellent restaurant recommendations and a bakery that was truly amazing. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this property. 10/10 The lift is a lifesaver when you're tired out after a day exploring Rome
