• Julia (7/5): - L’emplacement est très pratique, étant près de la gare, du métro et du bus. Il y a des commerces, bars et restos tout près dans Lower March. Le bar est beau et le service très sympathique. Le bruit des trains qui freinent à l’arrivée en gare. Les lits grincaient et le matelas était rour mou et fin. Une seule salle de bain et un WC pour tour l’étage. 3ème étage sans ascenseur, un peu dur de monter avec la valise 😅 Dommage qu’il n’y ait pas de lumière pour chaque lit ainsi que des rideaux pour avoir un peu d’intimité. Pour ces dames, aucune bonne lumière pour se maquiller si jms 🤡

• van de Voorde (8/5): - Ik vind ten eerste de locatie heel fijn De prijs, om op deze locatie te verblijven en dan ook nog met een fijn ontbijt inbegrepen in een gezelige omgeving,daar ben ik heel te vreden over.
• Magui (10/5): - Estaba muy cerca del London eye y el Big Ben. Un poco lejos de todo el resto, pero está bien conectado. Tiene la estación de Waterloo al lado, te podes mover cómodo. Estuvimos en la habitación jubilee que es para 2 privada, y estuvo muy bien. El wifi andaba medio lento. Los baños, si bien hay uno solo por piso y hay varias habitaciones, nunca tuvimos problema para bañarnos ni nada. El ruido de la calle se aplaca bastante con las ventanas cerradas: No nos pareció bien que no nos dejaran quedarnos en el pub después del check out, siendo que el personal estaba ahí y simplemente queríamos quedarnos un rato haciendo tiempo hasta la hora de irnos. El pub estuvo bastante flojo.

• JUAN (10/5): Great stay - The location is great a couple of blocks from all the the sightseeing. They offer complementary breakfast which is very complete. The facilities were clean and comfortable. The staff was super helpful and friendly from the girls at the recepción to the cleaning lady, we can’t be more thankful, thanks for such a pleasant stay. The trains so make some noise but is only until midnight and in reality you get so tired from sightseeing and doesn’t even bother.

• Marta (8/5): Vicino al Big Ben, ottimo pub - Posizione molto comoda e staff gentile. La colazione è semplice, ma c'è tutto quello di cui si ha bisogno. Bello il pub con birre a prezzi scontati al pian terreno. Le stanze sono rumorose (ma ti danno i tappi, quindi io sono riuscita a dormire) e luminose (consiglio di portare anche una mascherina da notte. I bagni sono molto piccoli e non c'è tanto spazio per lasciare le proprie cose.

Se sua prioridade é um local seguro para dormir, bem localizado e com custo baixo para uma curta estadia, vale a pena. Minha experiência foi excelente! Camas doas quarto são de ferro e fazem bastante barulho ao se mexer. Apenas 1 banheiro e 1 chuveiro para uma média de 10 pessoas por andar.

Letto comodo, il “problema” dei rumori della stazione di notte è inesistente visto che dalle 23 circa non ci sono più e in più la struttura offre tappi per le orecchie, comodissimi anche per i rumori degli altri ospiti nella stanza. Colazione gratuita e posizione centralissima e a due passi dalla metro di Waterloo. Rapporto qualità/prezzo eccellente! Spazi di bagno e doccia molto stretti

• Macarena (5/5): No tan agradable - La ubicación era perfecta, esta al lado del london eye y del bigben. Muy fácil llegar, con estaciones de bus y metro al lado. Tiene una buena cocina comunitaria. Perfecta para todos los usos y se mantenía limpia Los baños estaban bien, aunque los del primer piso se veían algo antiguos y estrechos Las camas no eran cómodas, el colchón era duro, y la almohada incomoda. Además eran camarotes de metal, por lo que cuando la persona que dormía arriba se movía, la cama entera se movía y no te dejaba dormir. Otra cosa que agregar es que si te tocaba la cama de abajo del camarote, no te podías sentar cómodamente en la cama, puesto que el camarote era bajo y te golpeabas en la cabeza cada vez que tratabas de sentarte. Las camas tienen unas cortinas para dar mas privacidad, pero la de mi cama estaba manchada con algo de dudosa procedencia y eso no era muy agradable.

• Maria Lucia (8/5): - Gostei do café da manhã no Pub do Hostel. Lugar muito agradável. Do pessoal do atendimento sempre muito atenciosos. O Pub muito bonito com música ao vivo nos fins de semana. E importante dizer que o hostel fica próximo a muitos pontos turísticos. Dá para ir a pé em muitos lugares. O metrô e o ponto de ônibus bem acessível. Dos banheiros. Os banheiros são separados para banho e toilet. E tem banheiro toilet sem pia para lavar as mãos. Isso é falta de higiene. Tem banheiro sem luz. Tem banheiro com chuveiro quebrado. Enfim falta manutenção nos banheiros. Assim, num andar usa um tipo de banheiro e depois vai para outro andar tomar banho. Pois os banheiros não tem um padrão. Falta gancho para pendurar as toalhas de banho.

• Luís (2/5): VERY UNPLEASANT - the staff was nice and friendly and they have a very basci (sugary) breakfast included. its an old building so just by that you can expect old facilities. has its charm being old but also all the worst parts. our room was a twin so no possibility to put the beds together, and travelling with my partner was a bump. the hostel is literraly next to a bridge where the subway is always on, like every 2 min up and down, so no quiet time neeever. from early morning to late night, so no change to get a good sleep. the cuirtains are not blackout effect so in the morning you get the light in the room, so no way you can sleep anymore. the matresses were so hard, we slept horrible, like sleepling on top of a rock. and the worst thing was that one of our beds had one broken leg so it was bouncing all night! there were so many details like mold in the celling and dust everywhere, slow internet, that made our stay very very unplesant and impossible to rest. DO NOT RECOMMED.
• Zoe (10/5): Perfect for us 5 in the women’s dorm - A group of 5 ladies, we stayed at the Walrus Hostel when visiting for the London Marathon. Perfectly located for easy sightseeing. The facilities in the hostel are basic but clean. Loved the kitchen for a frothy coffee from the Coop over the road. The free breakfast was a delicious surprise & set us up for the day. Toast, cereal, tea, coffee, Juice. The staff were lovely and Nellie, the manager, was so welcoming and even made us a banner to support our family member who was running. Live entertainment and board games in the bar were the 'icing on the cake. Would definitely recommend. Lots of information in the notice boards and a pub too.

Such good value for bed and breakfast in a really - Good location close to Westminster bridge, Waterloo station and St Thomas hospital. Very friendly staff, clean, decent breakfast and excellent price. Plenty of showers but could do with extra toilets. Close to station so trains until midnight but we knew this and earplugs are provided in case noise bothers you.

• Maria (3/5): Íbamos con muchas expectativas pero nos defraudó - Está muy bien ubicado y se puede ir andando al centro perfectamente. Nos prometieron que nos iban a poner a todos en la misma habitación (tengo un mensaje de confirmación del hostel) y no lo cumplieron y una persona tuvo que dormir sola dos noches. Al llegar se lo empezamos a explicar a la chica bastante enfadados obviamente y su respuesta fue decir “vete a tomar por culo” en italiano (imagino que se pensaba que por la forma de hablar y gesticular éramos italianos y no españoles”. Lo único que hicieron fue darnos gratis las toallas, pero no les quedaban grandes y nos dieron pequeñas y con agujeros. El último día si pudimos dormir todos en la misma habitación pero no nos gustó el trato. Se escudaba en decir que la persona que nos dijo eso estaba despedida, pero ese no es nuestro problema, porque la persona que nos lo dijo hablaba en nombre del hostel. Los baños súper descuidados, viejos y sucios. Dejé en la ducha de nuestra habitación gel, champú y mascarilla y cuando llegamos por la noche me lo habían tirado, y no fue nada de mi habitación. En fin… de los peores en los que me he hospedado.

They said it was locked. Yet I saw another guest just walk right in. They said she was part of a group checking in later that day, well, I'm a paying guest too! Had it not been for that I would give them a better rating

I don’t mind though because my neighborhood at home is noisy. Bedding was incredibly low frills, but I didn’t get cold and that’s really what matters to me. I wish there were lights at each bed

• Irenne22 (7/5): BUEN HOSTAL RELACIÓN CALIDAD-PRECIO - El hostal en conjunto está muy bien, la habitación es pequeña, pero como todas las habitaciones en Londres. Las camas estaban bien y en general está limpio. Incluye un pequeño desayuno, que por tiempo no tomamos y en la habitación hay un hervidor de agua, con café, té y unas galletas que disfrutamos mucho. Te guardan las maletas si lo necesitas por 3 libras cada maleta/bolsa. Muy buen precio y zona accesible. El edificio es algo antiguo, los baños están limpios pero están muy usados. Otro aspecto que no me gustó es que no hay persianas ni cortinas opacas, solo una fina cortina blanca que cubre la venta y por donde pasa todo el sol.

• VAROL (9/5): Clean and perfect location - The hostel was really clean and also breakfast was satisfying The hostel’s location is really great and close to everything. The only issue is that it’s near the train tracks, so it can be noisy, but it can be overlooked.

It was so nice seeing a friendly face at breakfast each morning, and the whole team was always helpful. The location was very central and convenient. All amenities were regularly cleaned and refreshed. Would definitely recommend!

• ISKANDER (10/5): This place is spot on! - Shower go hot! Kitchen is ample! Place is near spotless 24/7! Great location! Good beer! Pukka Entertainment! I had a week long stay and the only downside to it was that I didn’t actually clock on the decor of the place until the fourth evening! There is for much detail to notice and admire throughout this property it would be a shame to visit there and not notice it. They should really make a point of telling guest to take in the interior fixtures so that they don’t miss out of the features this place has, clearly there is a backstory to it and as great as the welcome intro/tour was upon check in I’m sure there is more to hear about the place!
