Gregory (8/5): - > Contact with the property was only possible via phone call even though other methods like whatsapp were offered. Once contact was made, however, they were happy to help. > Amenities in the apartment were sparse and some were missing. No toaster or electric kettle, but grill and hob kettle instead. A small TV was available, but could not get any channel to work. We took a Firestick, which needed the extender cable to fit the HDMI port in the back of the TV, and connected it over the Free Wi-Fi that worked really well. In an apartment able to sleep 4 there were only 2 knives, cups and glasses! Forks, spoons, plates, bowls, and espresso coffee cups were in abundance! Only 2 frying pans and 1 large sauce pan made cooking interesting, but perhaps more eating out is expected? Other amenities like salt and sugar were provided, but tea and coffee were not. Neither was dish soap or a kitchen towel. > Heating and hot water was good with an adequate functional bathroom with a normal shower head. Air-con was also available in the lounge. > Sleeping was OK. Main bed was comfortable and the pull-out sofa bed was also OK, but would not say more than this. Bedding was also OK. Having stayed in another apartment in the same building 3yrs earlier, which provided better facilities it was a tough act to follow, but for a short stay in the hustle and bustle of Trastevere and a short walk to supermarkets, restaurants and the Vatican I wouldn't ignore it.
