• susan (10/5): Lovely clean room with amazing balcony view of old town. - The view of the old town from the balcony is beautiful. Everything is spotlessly clean and well thought out. The owner was friendly and was there to greet us despite our flight being delayed an hour. Lots of steps but if you want such a lovely view it’s the price you have to pay. There are steps everywhere in Dubrovnik. I would stay there again.

Perfect place to stay for GOT fans 😉 There are 280+ steps from the street to the apartment so not for the unfit lol, especially on a hot day.

Only 10 min walk into the old town. Only downside would be a lot of stairs to get here from the old town but this is the same for a lot of accomodation in Dubrovnik

Apartament i taras bardzo czysty z wszelkimi wygodami, z dostępnym sprzętem kuchennym i do wypoczynku na tarasie. Nie mogliśmy sobie wyobrazić nic lepszego 🥰 Nic takiego nie było 😁
• Constanza (8/5): Excelente vista e instalaciones. - Las instalaciones y la Vista. La persona que nos recibió no hablaba bien inglés y no nos pudimos comunicar. La ubicación hace que sea de difícil acceso para el auto por lo que ha que subir unos 20 peldaños con las maletas. Además hay que subir muchos peldaños desde la muralla, lo que hace que el trayecto sea largo y cansador.

Hasznos tanácsokat adott és nagyon készséges, barátságosak voltak. A kilátás az apartmanból az óvárosra gyönyörű.

La salle de bain était très bien pour deux personnes, très propre. La cuisine était bien équipée et le lit très confortable et spacieux. La terrasse permettait de manger dehors toute la journée en profitant de la vue. De plus, l’endroit était calme et très charmant. Gravir les marches…

• Katherine (10/5): Definitely rent this place 🤩 - Absolutely amazing location. I had a deck that overlooked old town and it was breathtaking. The room was super spacious and comfortable. And the host was so lovely. 100% would recommend. It is only 700m from the old town gate, but it is 700m straight up non-stop stairs. So be prepared for a bit of walking. But that didn’t bother me at all.

A noter que l'appartement est idéalement situé dans un quartier agréable, calme juste au-dessus et à proximité de la Porte de Ploce. Il faut savoir qu'il faut monter des marches, beaucoup de marches non seulement dans la vieille ville mais aussi pour accéder à l'appartement.

• Karen171 (10/5): Fantastic Apartment - I loved my apartment especially the view of the old city. I really loved having breakfast on my balcony each morning. The apartment was exceptionally clean and well maintained. The shower was great. TV had lots of English speaking channels. The bed was huge and comfortable. Maria the owner was so kind and helpful if I needed advice or directions. As with everywhere if you stay near the old city, you have to climb countless steps, over 400 in this case. But it was worth the view. I did find if you walked up the winding road, although steep, you could avoid nearly all the steps.

• Ariane (10/5): - We spent two nights at Apartment Ante and we loved our stay! We were warmly welcomed by the host who lives next door and really enjoyed the well thought-out layout, beautiful design, and practicality of the space. The unit we stayed at is laid out as a studio, with a bedroom space that can be separated from the living area by curtains. The bathroom is superb, the kitchen very well-equipped and the view on old Dubrovnik from the balcony absolutely amazing! A few things to be aware of: 1. The street is basically a lot of stairs and reaching the apartment requires climbing the equivalent of three tall stories - with luggage. 2. Although the kitchen has salt, pepper and sugar, there was no coffee or tea available, so bring your own. 3. The nearest market also requires a good amount of stairs climbing so plan accordingly. And with all the said, we're already recommending this unit to friends and we could consider returning for another visit to Dubrovnik!

Well worth the price as they meet you at arrivals, make sure that someone meets you at the bottom of the stairs ( yes, there are stairs!), help carry luggage up. Wonderful views of the old walled city. The host Maria even did our laundry at no charge. Great spot for 3 nights

• Mika (10/5): Great place to stay in Dubrovnik - The apartment was nice, especially the balcony. Windows had blinders, so we slept well. There were a lot of stairs from old town to apartment (which we knew in advance), but it was rather easy to get taxi as well for the uphill (which we did for most of the time). Owner was very nice and available when ever we needed.

• Jennifer (10/5): - We were very impressed with this apartment! First of all, the service was fantastic. I had some travel issues on the way here and ended up arriving much later than I originally told them, but they were still awake and waiting for me even though it was after 11pm, I was so grateful! And they were friendly when they greeted me and showed me around the apartment, even after I made them wait so long. The hosts live right next door, so you don't have to worry about being stranded or left in the dark. The views from this apartment are amazing, and there is a small patio in the front where you can watch the city at night, it's very nice. And since it is not directly in old town it is so quiet and peaceful at night. The apartment itself is very clean, has everything you need, has air conditioning, showers were hot. Everything was great. I will say, it is a walk up a lot of stairs to get from the old town nearby to the apartment, but what do you expect for such great views. If you have trouble with stairs this may not be the place for you, but you will also struggle in old town Dubrovnik because it is all stairs throughout the city. I would suggest planning out your day so you don't have to make as many trips back to the apartment. You could also get a taxi which takes you most of the way but there is still one last set of stairs you have to go up from the road where they drop you off.

Great facilities in the room and a good bathroom There were quite a few steps up from the road but the driver who picked us up from the airport carried our bags to the door- so would highly recommend that service if you have heavy bags

The location could not have been more perfect just a short stroll to the picturesque Old Town, where we enjoyed exploring the historic streets, discovering charming shops, and trying delicious local cuisine at nearby restaurants. Host was quite helpful. The apartment itself was very comfortable, clean, and well-equipped, providing us with a cozy and functional home away from home during our trip. We especially loved the stunning view of the old city from the balcony, which offered breathtaking sights, especially during sunrise and sunset when the sky and city lights created a truly magical atmosphere. Overall, it was a wonderful experience that enhanced our time in Dubrovnik, and I would highly recommend this apartment to anyone looking for a comfortable and well-located place to stay. One important aspect to note is that the apartment does not offer free parking onsite, so guests will need to book and park their car in one of the city’s public or private parking areas nearby. While this is generally manageable, it can be a bit inconvenient, especially for families with young children or elderly visitors, as parking spots may be limited or require some walking. Additionally, the parking areas can be a bit spread out across the city, and navigating the narrow, often hilly streets with luggage or young children might pose a challenge. Therefore, guests should plan ahead and consider the potential extra effort or costs involved in finding suitable parking during their stay to ensure a smooth and stress-free experience exploring Dubrovnik.

Het appartement was schoon en volledig uitgerust, en het terras was perfect om van het uitzicht te genieten. Op ongeveer 10 à 15 minuten lopen van Old Town – voornamelijk via trappen – lag de locatie ideaal voor ons verblijf. Ontzettend bedankt! niks.

Ekstra bonus at vi ble kjørt til flyplassen siste dag og at de ordnet med bagasjen vår alle trappene ned fra leiligheten.

The hostess and her son were wonderful and made it so easy for me to get to the bus station the next day. I felt like I was getting a little taste of Croatian culture. The room was well-equipped and even had a small kitchen. I had to climb 351 stairs with my luggage to get there! I did it (and am very proud of myself for doing so), but I can imagine that not everyone would be able to. It would be good to have this information in the beginning, along with options for people who need help with their luggage.

The shuttle from the airport stops directly down the hill near the stairs which is perfect. The walk up is a slog, achievable if you’ve got a backpack but if you’re carrying a suitcase you need reasonable fitness. Easy to access the old town and enjoy amazing views. Would stay again.

Be prepared to hike a ton of steps between the property and old town. The climb is not for the faint of heart or for anyone who is not in good shape. On the flip side, it did provide a good workout!

The host brought us a refreshing jug of home made juice which was very nice. Well furnished and great facilities. It's not the properties fault, but it is on a steep hill out of town so be prepared to climb plenty of steps. Not suitable if you have mobility issues. Great apartment though
• Sabine (10/5): - The apartment is perfectly located, just outside the city walls. You have to walk quite a few stairs, but also can take an uber. We especially enjoyed the beautiful view we had from the balcony. The apartment has everything you need and the owners were very nice and welcoming. We also booked our transfer through them. It was well-organised and a comfortable way to get to and from the airport.

Friendly hosts, lovely and private terrace where I spent most of an afternoon with a book and some snacks, and comfortable living room for watching TV (I enjoyed some Seinfeld myself). I didn’t cook anything per se but it was nice to have a full stove, dishwasher, refrigerator, and coffee maker at my disposal. I found a convenience store and got some coffee grounds and milk to have my breakfast tradition away from home and that was nice too. There’s even a turtle living in the garden, adding to the charm! If your legs can take the climb, it’s well worth the stay.

• Giulia (9/5): Confortable apartment with amazing view to the old town - I used the extra service offered by the accomodation to be picked up at the airport and it was a good start of the trip, with plenty of recommendations. Communication was easy with the owner and they helped my family to bring the luggage up the long stairways (I stayed at the apartment with my 60+ parents, so this was really good even though the way down to the old town and back is a bit intese). The apartment is clean and quite nice, with a breathtaking view to the sea and the city. Air-conditioning was working perfectly during those 30+ degrees days. -

We cannot thank the hosts for their friendliness and help during our stay. The apartment had everything we needed and is kept to a very high standard. The information provided by Booking.com on the website is totally misleading regarding the location of the apartment in relation to other facilities and areas. As an example, it states Banje Beach is 250 yards away, but be very careful as in the smallprint is the phrase, 'All distances are measured in straight lines. Actual travel distances may vary', which is true as this distance is down a series of very steep steps which take about 10 minutes to walk down. Nowhere does it say that this apartment is not suitable for anyone who has walking or mobility issues so someone can book this place but have trouble using it.

Maria and her family were so kind and couldn't do enough to make our stay the best it could be. Lots of stairs!

The hosts were so accommodating, providing accommodation from the airport and then to the ferry!! They held our bags for a bit so we could see more of Dubrovnik and do a tour of the town, which was so helpful and kind! The room was spacious and we loved the deck and the comfy bed!! The hosts even taught us how to speak more slang Croatian! We loved it here, book now you will love Dubrovnik even more! Nothing! Wish we could have stayed longer!

• Margarita (10/5): Perfect views! - The view is breathtaking; I literally had to pinch myself! The terrace is big and comfortable, with sunbeds where you can relax with a glass of wine and enjoy Dubrovnik from above. We even had our own pets, two lazy turtles in the small garden. Inside, the appartment is clean and spacious with everything you might possibly need, including books, maps, a TV and AC in every room, modern bathroom and kitchen (I swear that kitchen is better than the one I have at home). A wonderful stay overall. The stairs! Not the appartment's fault, obviously, but there were so many from the old town up, and the day was so hot it was nearly impossible to climb them all. Also, if you're coming by car it might be challenging to find a parking spot, at least one near the appartment. There is some free space, if you're lucky, but the private parking nearby needs prebooking!

• タビックス (10/5): The spectacular view made it one of the highlights of the European expedition. - The view from Apartments Ante was spectacular. You can see the Old Town of Dubrovnik from the balcony of the apartment. The owner lady was nice and polite. She made me lemonade with some organic nuts when I arrived at the apartment. Having to climb many stairs to get from the Old Town to the apartment. And vice versa. Those who are not confident in their physical strength or have problems with their legs and feet may want to stay in a hotel near Old Town.

It was also very nice to be offered a jug of cold lemonade as we checked in. The AC wasn’t very cold and also be warned there’s a lot of steps up to the property from Old Town. When we were out we stayed out all day so we wouldn’t have to do the steps up twice in a day. But the amount of steps is normal for Dubrovnik.

• Agi_g (8/5): Very good - We loved the view. Apartament was modern and cozy, kitchen quite well equipped. It's difficult to get to (lots of climbing up), but I guess that's normal in Dubrovnik. It lacked some cleaning: hair in wardrobe and shower, dirty sandwicher, ants. Mattress wasn't very comfortable.

• Candida (10/5): Wonderful place to stay, loved it! - Lovely welcome with homemade lemonade and sweets. New and clean, spacious well equipped kitchen and bathroom with plenty hot water, loo paper and soap. Large comfy bed with extra pillows. Lots of storage. Fab terrace with excellent view, lovely to lounge on sun loungers at the end of the day looking down at the old town. Not far to walk from old town and supermarkets, great location. Took airport bus to Ploce gate then walked 15 mins to apartment. Returned to airport from Cable car bus stop - all very easy. Happily would stay there again

• Yulia (10/5): Excellent place in Dubrovnik - Amazing accommodation and very friendly hosts. Beautiful garden with the mist fascinating views of Dubrovnik. House equipped with all necessary amenities in the kitchen from stove to fridge, also dishwasher. We enjoyed so much with the child who was so happy to find 2 tortoises in our garden.

• Sarah (10/5): Beautiful apartments with a breathtaking view and friendly hosts - The studio apartment was spotlessly clean and really comfortable and the hosts were friendly and welcoming . The view from the balcony was absolutely stunning . Nothing . The steps were a bit of a challenge, but to get the view we had from our balcony it was so worth it.
• Joyti (10/5): Wonderful stay, comfy bed and stunning views of Dubrovnik. - The view was stunning! Lots of steps to climb but the view was worth it! If you have heavy luggage you will probably struggle walking up from the shuttle bus drop off point, but you could get a taxi.

• Sophia (10/5): It was a lovely babymoon/honeymoon, thank you! - It was located quite high, but as is majority of Dubrovnik’s accommodations. I’m 7 mos pregnant but I was okay with all those stairs, so I’m sure it should be fairly tolerable for most unless contraindicated. The room was adequate and had everything we need. It has air conditioning and hot water, a kitchenette, and it was very clean and comfortable. Marinko and his family are lovely and welcoming. The balcony view is stunning as well! Nothing
