• Katie (8/5): Convenient and authentic location for our stay, and good value for HCMC. - It's off of a main street in a lane, so most of what you need is there. It's also located in a Vietnamese area, unlike district 1, which is geared towards tourists and is very pricey. It's a great location for anyone getting from or to the airport. The swimming pool is quite big for an apartment style hotel like this in Vietnam, and it's well used. There are ATMs on the main street, but no $ exchanger. We never used the restaurant as it's pricier than local Vietnamese ones. It's a pretty authentic experience of Vietnam in HCMC. The main street gets super busy and can be very loud. Our family room was spacious. There was a small balcony. It's not so clean. Very loud on the main street, though we couldn't hear it from our room. When you walk out it's insanely busy.

• Mary (6/5): Уверена, что если б нас засели в тот номер, что мы изначально бронировали, моя оценка была бы выше - Понравилось то, что в итоге нас заселили, мы были насколько уставшие, что не было сил искать альтернативу. Из плюсов отмечу завтрак, хороший вкусный, порционный завтрак. Масло к тосту не подают, но если попросить принесут. И очень порадовал свежевыжитый сок, прям хороший не разбавленный. wi-fi - хороший. Мы бронировали один трех местный номер ( семейный номер - студия), но по приезду как выяснилось он оказался занят. Молодой человек нам сперва предложил пойти в другой отель, но даже 10 минут ходьбы с чемоданами перспектива не казалось нам радужной. В итоге около часа в ожидании и нам предложили два номера ( обычный номер с удобствами ). Увы, номер оказался БЕЗ ОКНА, По стоимости эти два номера даже дешевле, чем наш забронированный просторный номер с балконом. Компенсацию не предложили вообще. В одном из номеров стоял жуткий запах, какой-то технический или ремонта. Мы были дико уставшие после двух перелетов и нам надо было переночевать перед вылетом на остров, мы согласились на эти дикие условия, по цене самого лучшего номера в этом отеле. Разочарование.

• Ashish (10/5): Wonderful experience at Cherry Hotel, and I will definitely come again. - I had a great stay at Cherry Hotel. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. I especially want to mention Quy, who was extremely friendly and helpful throughout my stay and made everything easier. There was nothing major to dislike. Everything was well managed and met my expectations.

• Ho (5/5): Average cheap stay - It is located close to the airport so not far to travel. The staff are polite, always opened door for us and also helped carried the luggages off and onto the car. The room is relatively spacious, and there are nearby places to eat food. The room had cockroaches on all the nights we stayed even though we didn't cook any food. The bathroom is quite average as the shower gets the toilet all wet and water sprays out of the bathroom unless the door is fully shut when showering.

• Shar (8/5): Budget Hotel/Lovely Staff/Clean - The staff are very helpful, the reception staff will help get Grab Cabs when needed. The restaurant staff are lovely and the food is reasonable. Cleaning staff are also very polite and good at there job. If you need something just ask. On my last night I asked for a wake up to my room 4.30am and luckily I woke because no one knocked at my door on going down to the night manager to leave he was sound asleep. He did order me a Cab to get to the airport.

• Antony (10/5): Thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Cherry Hotel and will be back again. Breakfast was excellent! - The location was handy as it is centralised. I could not fault the restaurant, the staff where super friendly and obviously very good at their jobs. The staff at the restaurant made me feel at home and relaxed and are an asset to the hotel. They are the reason I will be coming back in my future trips to Vietnam. Most travellers don't spend enough time to get to know staff and so cannot give an accurate appraisal of how good the staff are. I highly recommend the Cherry Hotel and it's staff especially the breakfast staff. My only criticism is that there are some maintenance issues when it comes to wet areas like the bath rooms but these problems are very common in most hotels.

• Marie (9/5): Amazing value for money with friendly staff who make you feel happy and safe! - I loved the staff in the restaurant and the restaurant I was very upset when I first arrived and the staff lady was cold to me. Then whenever I tried to be friendly I was treated like I was interrupting. I am involved in hospitality and i beleibe customer friendliness is essential to make someone feel relaxed. The male staff member was helpful but again never smiled or made an effort to be friendly. It’s a shame. My bed was as hard as a rock and after two changes I found a good rooom. I will come back but never waste my time being friendly to the reception girl and young man again. I told my problem to the restaurant manager and she was so helpful, professional and friendly . All the other staff were. Especially th young girl int the restaurant who did some reception work. She should be greeting guests. The rude front reception staff who made no effort to be friendly. Who treated me like I was a burden. My Rock hard bed. But the rest was amazing ! I am making a positive review on my video channel.

• Charlotte (4/5): Matig - Ideaal dat er een drank automaat in de hal staat en dat je heel goedkoop water kan bestellen en dan wordt het in je kamer gezet. Het hotel zit in een rustig straatje Het zwembad was vies en ook de fitness zaal leek al weken niet te zijn schoongemaakt. Let op met de wasservice. Je moet zelf donker en lichte was scheiden want daar wordt geen rekening mee gehouden (wij kregen onze kleding met vlekken terug) Het appartement was oud en niet schoon. De kastjes zijn al maanden niet gepoetst. Het warm water was een beetje instabiel. Het personeel spreekt niet heel goed Engels al kwamen we er wel altijd samen uit. De locatie is matig, er zit weinig in de buurt.

We changed room three times, they were all dirty rooms! There was ants and ant eggs all in the beds and also hairs and stains all over the sheets. Mould in the bathroom and a musty smell. Could tell they were not cleaned well at all. The rooms are super basic and need some updating, as well as the mattress, super uncomfortable, basic spring mattress. The gym and pool felt dirty also. When we said we wanted to leave, they said that we would only get one fifth of our money back as we had not said anything to the staff in the first three hours of checking in (we went on a walk and looked round the hotel deciding where we were going to move to in this time) so we had to stay as I didn’t want to loose my money. Would definitely not recommend here. I hate writing reviews like this but it was bad here.

• Zico (8/5): Decent stay minus the roaches - The location was good and the staff were helpful. The rooms were spacious and they restocked free water everyday. When we entered the room there was overwhelming bug spray smell. Then we realized there were little roaches that appeared in the bathroom. Also, there was a stain under the covers that we didn't notice until the last day. We were blamed for this and then were forced to pay otherwise we would have missed our flight
