Guest Reviews
- Mary (10/5): - The views were fantastic . The property was so clean. Definitely would recommend it and would love to return some day.. Mary Coghlan and Joe There was nothing that we did not like
- Karolina (9/5): -
- Aneta (8/5): - Taras z łukami i widok z niego to coś niesamowitego! Świetny kontakt z właścicielem.
- Kurunmäki (10/5): Hieno paikka, hienolla msisemalla - Sijainti oli todella mukava, uimaranta lähellä oli parasta Sänky ehkä jossain vaiheessa uusittava

- Lesley (10/5): Great place to stay for a short break - Great location, easy to walk to the old town in 20 mins. Lovely shaded outside sitting area with views to the sea. Able to go swimming at the bottom of the road, a 2 minute walk. Has a washing machine, pegs and space to dry clothes.

- Donald (9/5): Perfect place to call home in Dubrovnik - Location was ideal, the owners were very accommodating and the views from the patio were amazing Screens on the windows would be nice
- Joan (9/5): -
- Alyssa (10/5): - View was amazing. Host was very attentive. Host had regular household items available which made it very convenient. Location was excellent as there is a private swimming area at the end of the alley that made it great for a quick ocean dip. There is also a local convenience store 4 minutes walking and 10 minutes walk to the bus stop. This place is a must stay and I cannot wait to come back. Would have preferred the ac in the living room or on upon arrival to better cool the entire house as it was extremely hot when we arrived and had to all hang out in one room until it cooled down. There is a steep hill in the alley of where this property is so if you are walking or catching the bus, you’ll need to walk up that each day. This is not a negative to the property but just would like share for future guests in case that is a deal breaker. Although, the area in general is quite hilly and you are bound to go up hills or steps 🤣

- Michael (8/5): Enjoyable location to explore the Dubrovnik area. - The location is perfect. 5min drive to a harbour with lots of restaurants, 5min drive to the old town parking. In both cases a 30min walk. There are parking spots on the street in front of the appartements and they also have large terraces where you can soak up the sun. Very nice view over the sea and Lokrum island. Had a nice stay away from the hustle and bustle of the old town. The appliances and kitchenette need an update, everything was perfectly usable though.

- Lorna (10/5): Ideal space for a family with teens! - We loved how close it was to the beach, close to shops, restaurants, and the short walk to the bus stop.
- Rami (9/5): -
- Giulia (6/5): Great view, but plenty to improve - We stayed at this property for 4 nights, and unfortunately, the experience wasn’t entirely positive. The house had a lot of insects and butterflies inside, which made the stay uncomfortable. The front door let in a lot of sunlight in the morning, making it hard to sleep. Additionally, the shutters were broken, so we had to open and close them manually every time.
The TV didn't work during our stay, which was disappointing, but at least there was Wi-Fi available. Another downside was that the towels were not changed during our entire stay. Every time we used the stove, there was a strong smell of smoke. There was no washing machine, the bathroom was very small, and there was no bidet.
The terrace was shared with other guests, which made it less private.
On the positive side, the staff was friendly and helpful. They kindly allowed us to check out an hour later due to bad weather, which we appreciated. The view from the property was absolutely stunning – definitely its best feature.
Overall, there were some good points, but many aspects need improvement to make the stay more comfortable.
- Martin (8/5): - Utsikten och altanen var magisk med närheten till havet. Enkelt och bekvämt boende. Parkeringen på gatan utanför var trång och lämnade en del att önska. Långa och branta backar upp till staden.
- Rachel (9/5): Superb -
- Marcio (9/5): It's a lovely spot and I'd happily book it again - The host was able to accommodate a slightly earlier check-in for us. The main bedroom is spacious with aircon. We found the place clean and comfortable overall. The best feature of the property is it's access to nearby beaches and walking distance to the old town. It's a lovely spot and I'd happily book it again. The second bedroom with two separate beds was quite small with no cupboards and only some shelves. It's difficult for two people to move around in this room. There is also no aircon in the second room and it gets very hot here in the warmer months. The shutters didn't work so we slept with the full window open (which also can't be secured and moves with the wind).
- Stewart (9/5): Very grateful to stay in such a beautiful location in a comfortable villa, thankyou - Loved it! A perfect location and very comfortable. The linen was poor, scratchy towels and in-complete bed sheets.
- Silvia (5/5): Not worth the high price tag! - The location and the view are the best things about this property. Upon arrival, since our flight was delayed, we were not greeted as warmly as we would expect. We were not told where to park and the next day the host came to yell at us that we had left the front gate open and that the light on the porch was left on. This was not true and we just decided to let it go. The apartment is super small and crammed with furniture. There are 4 bar chairs that are supposed to fit around the breakfast bar and you can only fit 2. The rooms are very small. The main bedroom has a giant armchair that is not only filling up half the room, but it makes it impossible to access the wardrobe. The other room is the size of a closet, literally. On the first morning there was landscaping being done and it started before 8am as our windows were open since there was no AC. It would have been nice to have a heads up.There was mosquitos but none of the windows have nets and you have a choice of being bitten or suffocating. The pictures do not show the size of this place and honestly since we stayed at 4 other VRBOs on our trip this was by far the worst.
- Kimberley (10/5): Exceptional -
- Chris (8/5): Very good -
- Mcdaid (5/5): Nice view, the small things count - The view was outstanding, information provided for directions but we got lost in the dark and found it difficult to find. Once we found it was situated in a beautiful location, with great views. The taxi men wanted to leave us at the entrance to hotel at top of the street which would be difficult to get luggage to location. Thankfully we hired a car the next day The locals were not very friendly around parking in the area. Left very little for a welcome, not a coffee, tea, milk or water (wine) fruit. The bath very tight showering facilities with hot water not lasting long enough for 4 people to shower. We only stayed 2 nights and 1 day and toilet roll ran out.
- Yeh (9/5): Superb -
- Carolina (7/5): Good location, beatiful property, with street parking. - Beautiful view it was great having breakfast with that view. It’s a beatiful property and the host was super friendly and always answered quickly. We had many issues in the airport and arrived 2h after our estimate check in time and she was very accomodating.
Small but very well equiped kitchen, nice and hot shower.
There is a small beach nearby that’s always fairly empty.
And for cat lovers, there is a cute visitor that comes bu every now and then (like they do in the entire city) I chose this property specifically because it’s saying it has free parking in the property (while others around say street parking) and it turned out the “free parking” means parking on the street. Luckly we always found parking but it was pretty full… I wonder how it is in the summer (note: weeks earlier, I did request the parking spot to be reserved)
Not a deal breaker but we wish we knew before, the kitchen and bathroom ceilling were quite low. For anyone over 1.80m it might be annoying. My partner had to hunch over and specially for showering it could be very inconvenient.
- Lottie (9/5): Superb -
- Karen (8/5): Very good - lovely property with great views back towards the old town with a very nice outdoor seating area in the garden, near a very nice rocky beach. Great little kitchenette if you need to cook meals. It may be a little too far to walk than some would want in the heat, probably 30 min walk. Bathroom was a little tight, but adequate
- Antony (9/5): Awesome stay with a wonderful view! - Awesome location! Great terrace and views and great air conditioning in main bedroom. Need portable fan or ceiling fans for second bedroom and lounge in the summer.
- Ivan (10/5): Very nice sea view from the balcony, close to the beach, easy parking, walking distance from old town - Fascinating sea view from the balcony and very close to the beach, we really enjoyed this house and the owner who gave us all the tips.
- Ivankolotov (8/5): Very good -
- Sandra (10/5): Exceptional - The view is amazing!
- Hariviknesh (10/5): Very leisure and comfortable stay - Excellent view and nice location. Host was very friendly.
- Ilco (10/5): Exceptional -
- Charles (8/5): Very good -
- Thomas (10/5): Exceptional -
- Isabella (8/5): Very good - Nice clean two-bedroom apartment with a patio overlooking the sea. Quiet area Apartment on a small steep incline
- Nancyk (6/5): The apartment may be better suited for three people or a family with young children using the second bedroom. - Lovely covered terrace area. For us the second bedroom did not work so well for two adults. No room for luggage in the room with us as the beds do take up most floor area. No air conditioning in this room either.
- Ivana (10/5): This property is exceptional! Breathtaking views, great location, peaceful yet close to the old town. The host Zana was - Absolutely everything! Our self contained apartment had breathtaking views of the sea from the main terrace 🤩 .
Waking up to that view and sounds was like a fairytale.
Property had fantastic facilities, very clean and comfortable and perfectly located just outside the old town. Absolutely nothing!
- Rachael (10/5): Must Stay! STUNNING! - Beautiful property with an amazing self contained apartment with stunning surrounding gardens. Beautiful view of the coast and close access to a amazing little beach. Was welcomed by gracious owner. Free Parking on the street. Close to bus stops.
- Anonymous (9/5): Great stay - location everything was good
- Tyler (9/5): Stellar location - We were so happy here, the location is absolutely stunning. The apartment itself was a bit smaller than it looked like in the photos, but that didn't bother us. We slept well and especially enjoyed the deck in the morning -- there is no better place to drink your coffee than looking out at the bay. Parking was a little bit tricky -- the streets are rather narrow, and we were woken up early the next morning by a truck that needed us to move to pass by. But the workers were very kind and directed us to park a little farther down. Just double check with the host about parking options (which are a problem in general in Dubrovnik)
- Malcolm (7/5): Nice room perfect for a short stay - The location is perfect for visiting all the sites of Dubrovnik old town just a 25 min walk.
- Piotr (10/5): Exceptional - Great location, very cosy place. very nice terrace for morning brakfast with sun and sea view.
- Elsa (10/5): Exceptional -
- Anuschka (9/5): Superb -
- Cindy (8/5): Very good - Liked the outdoor patio and was very quiet. We did have some ants in the bedroom.
- Urdapilleta (10/5): Exceptional -
- Zornitsa (6/5): Pleasant - The view is nice but the location is far from anything center or beach. The property says there is parking and you could book - this is not the case - you park on a publicly available spot where even your car could be scratched (which happened to us)
There are ants in the whole apartment
The air condition is not enough for that large of an apartment - it is only in one of the bedrooms.
- Cornoiu (8/5): Very good -
- becky248 (8/5): Lovely apartment with stunning views - The apartment has stunning views of both the mountains and the sea. It has a lovely seated area outside. We found it so relaxing to be there.
It is close to one of the few areas in Dubrovnik that you can swim in.
It is close to several supermarkets and restaurants. It is easy to walk into Dubrovnik but there are also buses.
- 639jillb (10/5): Remarkable views - This lovely guest house is on a really steep hill, but I'm 70 and overweight and I managed it with very little problem! Parking is a problem but again we managed to park on the road. That said once your in the gate and see the lovely villa you realise the climb was worth it.
We had a room which was very clean with an en suite bathroom and a comfy bed. There is plenty of storage space and a fridge. The very kind lady of the house provided us with a kettle, mugs, plates, knives and coffee, sugar, tea and milk!
We had a shared terrace but as the other room was unoccupied we had it ourselves. The view are brilliant. If you want a nice clean comfy room I would highly recommend it.
The walk to the old town is not too bad but it does take half an hour and there are a few hills at the beginning , but I managed it easily.
The first photograph is the view from the loo, the second is the view of the villa from the road to the old town and the final photo is the view from the terrace.
- Ufetz (8/5): contradictory feelings - Staff was great. Location fantastic. View from the terrace marvellous. Price affordable. Refrigerator was good. Staff brought some plates, glasses etc.
but on the other hand this place also had it's problems that make me wanna not go here more than one to two nights.
We spent here one week and that was too much for the small negative things:
Our room had toilet and bathroom outside the room. it was for only us but from there you could here perfectly to other room. if you farted, the others would hear it. If they spoke softly in their room, you could hear it totally in the bathroom.
Walls were also thin. beds was unconfy: I had bad problems with my back after this holiday thanks to the bed and pilllow. on the other hand my girlfriend said that it was OK.
the wonderful terrace is shared. It didn't bother us but in that week we had 3 different couples in the next room that shared the terrace and I can say that only one of those couples didn't mind sharing.
TV was really small. AC really loud. Room tiny.
If you decide to book here, then you should write down carefully the adress because other wise it's hard to find it.
In the pictures you can find two different rooms and also the great view from terrace. without the view I would have given 3- to this guest house (cash only).
- F2702EYkateb (10/5): Lovely room with stunning sea view - Me and my friend stayed here for 2 nights , the lady was very welcoming and the room we had was perfect , the views from the room balcony were beautiful . 2 minutes walk from the bus stop and 5 minutes from the closest beach this guest house is in a perfect location .
- Leslieg61 (10/5): Great stay in Dubrovnik - We stayed in the small apartment for 3 nights during out stay in Dubrovnik. The house has a beautiful view of the sea and is a 20 minute walk to the Old City. Just down the steps from the house you can take a swim and relax on the rocky beach.
The owners are wonderful and accommodating. Robert gave us many great suggestions for dining and some live music.
There are restaurants close by and a grocery store a short walk from the house. Finding a place to park if you have a car can be tricky, but we always found a spot. The parking is on the street, which is narrow.
The apartment had wonderful air conditioning, which was a relief because Croatia was having a heat wave! Temps were in the mid to upper 90s while we were there.
