• Eduardo (2/5): Nicht bewohnbar. Ein arroganter Vermieter, dem der Gast egal ist. - Das Gebäude kenne ich schon von sehr vielen anderen Appartments, die allesamt sehr gut waren, allerdings von einem anderen Vermieter angeboten werden. Die Lage istambul Prinzip sehr gut. Absolut inakzeptabel waren die Bettwanzen. Mein Sohn und ich wurden beide von Bettwanzen gebissen, schon nach der ersten Nacht. Wir haben Fotos von den Stichen an Händen und Füßen. Der Eigentümer hat sich dafür nicht einmal entschuldigt! Das ist ein extremer Mangel an Respekt. Wir haben das auch Booking.com gemeldet und werden die lokalen Behörden informieren. Dieser hygienische Zustand ist gesetzeswidrig und muss zu einem Verbot von Vermietung führen. Zur Zeit des Aufenthalts waren zudem ein Gerüst vor den Fenstern und Balkonen aufgestellt mit einer Abdeckung zur Straße hin. Bauarbeiter gingen dort tagsüber entlang und konnten in unser Appartment blicken. Viele Bauarbeiter waren sehr aktiv und die Geräuschkulisse war inakzeptabel für einen Ferienaufenthalt. Auch hier wollte der Vermieter keine Mietminderung einräumen. Unverschämt. Drittens eine Panne noch, die aber behoben wurde. Im Bad kam aus dem Abflussrohr der Dusche das gesamte Duschwasser und überschwemmte Bad, Schlafzimmer und Wohnzimmer. Der Vermieter war schnell zur Stelle und hat das in Ordnung gebracht. Trotzdem sehr unangenehm.

• Amanda (6/5): It was okay. - Rania was very nice but there was a problem with the keys and we had to wait in the room until she could get us another type of key to enter the place and that took more than an hour. It was difficult to find the parking; we're a bit worried and hope we won't get a fine for going into an area looking for it. We finally found it, but later on that evening we were told that we had to take our car out of the parking and go find another one (something to do with the elevators in the car par but talking to the attendant-he knew nothing). Luckily there was another parking nearby with space but it was incredibly annoying and now I'm still waiting to get a refund for the parking that we had already paid for but then couldn't use. There was also a problem with the bathroom sink.

• Sergia (5/5): Sei giorni deludenti - Appartamento sicuramente bello, in una buona posizione per muoversi in centro Una sola coppia di asciugamani a testa, trattandosi oltretutto di un periodo estivo è veramente troppo poco; visto anche il prezzo pagato; il letto scricchiolava ad ogni movimento; dotazione della cucina veramente “minimale”; essendoci la lavatrice in tutti gli altri alloggi che ho affittato in passato ho sempre trovato il detersivo per fare un bucato: qui niente, neppure una bottiglia d’acqua di benvenuto e, visto il prezzo pagato, è inaccettabile. Ad una settimana dal rientro non mi sono ancora stati riaccreditati i soldi della cauzione che non sono pochi, avendo noi lasciato un appartamento perfetto; il climatizzatore segnalava la necessità della pulizia del filtro che non è stata effettuata; al nostro arrivo il rubinetto della doccia era rotto ed è stato cambiato, dopo la mia segnalazione, il giorno prima della nostra partenza; l’appartamento era pulito, ma c’erano capelli lunghi in giro nella parte dell’entrata e della cucina; e anche della macchie ben visibili in cucina,il bagno era senza la lampada sullo specchio, dove c’erano interruttore e buchi
• Elisabeth (9/5): Agradável, ótima localização e confortável. - A localização é muito boa, bastante central com várias opções gastronômicas ao redor e próxima das atrações turísticas. O apartamento é confortável, com aquecedor de toalhas, ar-condicionado eficiente no verão no quarto e na sala, máquina de lavar-roupas e cozinha funcional. Prédio bonito e de fácil acesso, janelas amplas e com isolamento acústico com vista para a rua. O chuveiro do banheiro estava rachado e não era possível tomar banho com ele fixado na parede (no suporte) pois o jato de água era direcionado para o vidro do box e não para baixo. Apesar disso a água aquecia rapidamente e a pressão era muito boa. Minha sugestão é reposicionarem o chuveiro no box.
• Martin (7/5): Culture et plage - Principalment selon ma recherche situation centrale près de tous Voici quelques remarques que nous souhaitions partager concernant notre séjour : • Le pommeau de douche était fissuré ; cela avait été signalé, mais il n’a pas été remplacé durant notre séjour. • L’ouverture de la porte d’entrée demande un certain “coup de main” ; cela pourrait être précisé. • Il manquait quelques éléments pratiques comme une planche à découper et des ciseaux de cuisine. • La taie du coussin était trop petite et ne couvrait pas bien le coussin. • Le séchoir (Stewi) était cassé et pas vraiment adapté au petit balcon. • Enfin, la mise en place d’un échafaudage pour des travaux n’avait pas été annoncée à l’avance. Ce sont de petits détails, mais qui auraient pu améliorer encore davantage notre expérience. Cela dit, dans l’ensemble, nous avons été satisfaits de notre séjour et le contact avec Carlos a été très bon.

• Tom (8/5): Very nice stay in Malaga - Great location, quiet, easy to get in and out. Nice and clean. Bedroom is very big. Hosts were very helpful and met us on time. Close to the metro station and many restaurants. Didn't like the pillows (personal preference). The shower was OK, but the handheld shower head kept falling off of its mount. Bathroom lighting is a little dim. Living room is a bit small.
• Mary (7/5): We really liked this apartment particularly for location and comfort - The property is ideally located, a few minutes walk from the historic quarter and near to shops and bars but not noisy. It is very clean and the kitchen and appliances seemed very new. Well furnished and comfortable Cutlery and crockery were not in keeping with the property. Poor quality and some items were chipped. The microwave didn't work nor did the iron. I'm sure this would have been fixed had we reported it but really couldn't be bothered and it didn't spoil our holiday! The sofa - although a lovely piece of furniture, could have done with a good clean!

Would have been 10 out of 10, if not for the ANTS. ANTS. Coming from dry drainpipe and/or under toilet in bathroom. Asked for insect spray or resolution from Carlos on day 3 (of 5). Verbal response was slow and were eventually promised insect repellant which NEVER arrived. So sat there squishing ants, instead. Minus 2, so 8/10.

There are restaurants down the street, but with the windows closed you can't hear any noise. I didn't even hear any neighbors in the apartment. Very comfortable bed. Everything worked as it should, the apartment is excellently equipped.

• Sammy (9/5): Superb - All in all a great stay! Very central, easy walk to the beach, beautiful old town and nice host who helped us with the entrance and keys and all the information we needed. Grab some food at the market only 1 minute away!
• Dan (3/5): A very frustrating experience despite the nice apartment - The apartment is situated at the periphery of the downtown on a quiet street. The apartment is overall nice, spacious, clean, and with several facilities. A parking spot is only 7 minutes on foot away and it is a nice experience to take it by car elevator to the designated parking space. Given these wonderful conditions, you could think nothing could go wrong with booking the apartment. The major problem was in interacting with Carlos, our host. We indicated the time of our arrival plenty before arriving. Nonetheless, we had to wait for 20-30 minutes for him in front of the apartment to receive the key. He acted very arrogant and explained to us how they manage over 17 apartments, and they sometimes are just busy. After entering the apartment, the first thing he asked for was our passports and our signature on his phone on a blank screen. There was no document that we signed, just a blank screen. On our question, of whether this would even be a legal procedure, Carlos asked ironically if we have ever been to a hotel in our life. Even though we are two medical doctors, we felt humiliated by the host. In light of being in a foreign country in the evening, we decided to still keep the accomodation. Two days later, a pipe burst in the ceiling, leading to water flowing into the apartment. We wrote Carlos and informed the building doorman. Carlos did not answer. A couple of hours later, an installer dropped by unannounced. He told us, there is nothing he can do on that day. At this point, Carlos did not answer, nor did he offer us any other accommodation. After returning home we contacted the property about the damages, asked back for our deposit (there is a clause to pay 200 Euros in advance even if the apartment is paid up front), and asked them to delete our signatures from their system. Communication was impossible since the customer relationship team just ignored the majority of our concerns. We asked booking for help to mediate our misunderstanding with the apartment, but the booking team just forwarded the answers of the InMalaga customer support and told us, should we not be satisfied with our answer for them, we should just write it in the review. In the end, we did get back our security deposit 7 days later. We were not compensated in any way, nor has anyone of the entire team (booking or Inmalaga) said sorry even once.

• Daniel (8/5): Could have been perfect... - The apartment was clean, secure and had everything we needed. The nice decorations throughout made us feel at home in Málaga straight away. The air conditioning was excellent. The location was amazing and the staff were friendly and helpful. The bed was very hard though I understand that is down to personal preference. We did have one major issue however. The shower head was hanging off the wall and my partner tried to fix the shower head. When doing so her stomach came into contact with the faucet which was burning hot to touch. She suffered a 2nd degree burn on her stomach as a result. Credit to the owners because as soon as I raised it as an issue they sent a maintenance man around, replaced and refitted a new shower head and apologised for the inconvenience. The faucet still was scolding however. A simple sign stating not to touch the faucet would at least alert people to the danger. I hate to imagine a child catching their face on it for example. My partner still has to apply cream to the burn and that is an unfortunate outcome of another wise lovely stay.
• Carol (8/5): Would definitely stay again - Location was perfect. Apartment was spacious, spotless, had all the essentials for a short stay and was surprisingly quiet given the location right in the centre of the old town. There was a good choice of places to eat, including breakfast, very close by. The aircon was blessing. The concierge was very pleasant. Carlos was helpful; he met me when I arrived and I was allowed to leave my case in the apartment and come back later at the correct check-in time. Impossible to have a hands-free shower as the shower head fell out of the wall attachment as soon as the water began to flow. An information pack in the apartment would have been helpful. I had trouble with the main key to the building (the key to the actual apartment was fine). My advice.... read the small print as there is also a 200 euros 'damage deposit' required, to be refunded later.

Carlos was helpful at check in and met us a little earlier than check in time which was great The shower head wasn't securely fitted. There was a delay returning my deposit, I don't think there's a need to charge guests a deposit.

I went there and the office was closed. finally tracked someone down who then had to travel to the city to give us the keys. The bed only had one long pillow for two people. It would have been nice to have two normal size pillows for sleeping.
