Guest Reviews
- Zenaida (10/5): - Algo antigua las habitaciones pero en general bastante bien pudieran agregar desayuno aunque tenga algún coste ya que hay que salir temprano para las islas
- Allison (10/5): - Staff was so friendly and location was great
- radhwan (10/5): - Good stay
- Salah (8/5): - The hotel is little old and it is a bit far from central old town and Sunday market
- Afranio (8/5): - Um bom hotel, só faltou café da manhã.
- sergiodamario (8/5): Could have acknowledged email - The hotel could use a freshen up, it's showing it's age, the tap in our bathroom was loose and flaping in it's fixing a little worrying that it might come completely disconnected, as for the flat screen TV?I would describe it to be more of a large laptop screen with poor picture quality, when booking the hotel the site showed food and dining, bit of a shock to be informed at check in that the hotel doesn't have food (would have been nice to know before booking) an email was sent twice asking if they offered airport transfers sadly we never got a response.
However the staff couldn't be more helpful with advice and arranging transport for us, if you don't mind a 15 to 20 minute walk you will be In the centre of Phuket Old Town with all the hustle and bustle this wonderful place has to offer, OK the burning question would we rebook in the future, yes probably now we know what to expect.
- Suraba (6/5): - ดี อยู่ติดชุมชน มีของกินเยอะ
- Lynn (6/5): - Closer to night market, good location in old town.
Nothing special about the hotel.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Odanın penceresi var açılmıyor. İyi çalışan kliması var. Havuz fena değil. Yatak rahat. Sigara içenler için pek uygun değil. Spor salonu yok. Havalimanına giden otobüs durağına çok yakın. Resepsiyonda ilgilenenler genelde iyiler.
Das beste was uns passieren konnte.
- Abrahim (10/5): - The view of this hotel is amazing waking up every morning for the view. Love it.
- kostasicebar (10/5): Near old town - Very close to the old town, fast check in,people in the reception were very friendly. Room was huge with nice view (we had a room in the 10th floor). WiFi and air condition worked great!2 free bottles of water every day . The mattress was comfy and bed was huge! Bathroom was big (we found some hair as we enter though) . Swimming pool in the 5th floor was a plus and we used it once! In the reception you can buy water, soft drinks etc in very cheap price.
- montannaa2019 (6/5): Good budget hotel - Staff were amazing, especially the man on reception (didn't catch his name) who was very friendly and helpful throughout. Location is good if you are looking to visit the old town as it is a 5 minute walk. There is a fantastic walking market on a Sunday which is a must try, be careful of what you eat as some of the food made me very sick for the rest of my trip. The room was very clean with a nice view, water replenished daily. Shower was particularly nice and spacious and bathroom was very clean. Pool area is nice and quiet, pool itself is clean but small. No loungers available but there are chairs to sit on. No restaurant on site but plenty of places to eat in the old town and lots of nice bars.
- Mobile02859346840 (10/5): Loved It - The experience of my stay was truly exceptional, marked by a perfect blend of factors that left a lasting impression. From the moment I arrived, it was evident that meticulous attention had been given to every detail, resulting in a stay that was nothing short of amazing.
The standout feature was undoubtedly the location. Nestled in a serene and tranquil setting, the surroundings exuded a sense of calm that was a welcome respite from the hustle and bustle of daily life. What truly elevated this stay was its proximity to the beach. With the soothing sound of the waves as a constant companion, the allure of the coastline was just a stone's throw away, making it an ideal retreat for those seeking the ultimate beachside escape.
- Anouschka (6/5): - Niet goed onderhouden schimmel in badkamer enige pluspunt is grootte van kamer en locatie dichtbij Old Town
- Aisling (8/5): Stay in Phuket - Great location - 5 minutes walk away from old town! The room is really big and clean! Great view of Phuket from the room. Staff were very friendly
- Graeme (8/5): - The hotel has very clean ,safe rooms . Good strong Wifi , nice clean pool with shade and seating. Approximately one kilometre walk to Old Phuket Town .Helpful staff . Washing machine and dryer.
No restaurant but there are many in the area .
“GRAB” food delivery is a great option.
- 180graemeb (8/5): Nice , clean , good pool , staff helpful, close to Old Phuket City . Like all over Phuket taxis are a nightmare - No restaurant in hotel but instant coffee and jug in room. Staff are accommodating but English is limited. Nice quiet but not easy to obtain taxis etc. Good value if you shop around and obtain a discount. Food delivery services seem popular here and although the food is better here than Patong don’t expect an international standard.
- 233emmelyc (10/5): Very good for a very low price! - It’s very good for the price that you’re paying. The hotel room and the rest of the hotel was very clean. We were welcomed by a friendly man behind the reception that gave us a lot of good tips and tricks. He spoke English very well! The location itself is hidden in a street but that was not bothering us at all because at night it was very quiet.
- Michael (6/5): - Klimaanlage war leider verschimmelt und so hat es auch im Zimmer den ersten Tag gerochen. Abends stand immer Abwasser im Waschbecken. Dafür war das Hotel an sich sauber und das Personal total freundlich.
- StaffieLancs (6/5): Nice for a short stay - This is a very old hotel but very clean and situated near the old Phuket town. The staff are all wonderful and accommodating particularly Ant and the reception staff. The beds were comfortable and the air conditioning was good plus the de luxe room was spacious. Bathrooms had nice hot showers and shampoo and body wash. The views from the high floor 10 were amazing. There is a small pool with limited chairs and a small gym. There was a small tv with English speaking channels and tea making facilities. The lifts to the room were efficient. It was definitely worth the price we paid for a short stay. There were a few issues with the Wi-Fi but we sorted this in the end with help from Ant and his team.
- Lawrence (8/5): - 10 min walk to old town and food. good hotel for the price.
- Andrew (10/5): - The staff were the friendliest and the location is walking distance to all of Old Town Phuket.
Would definitely stay here again.
- Gemdazo (6/5): Great views - On the outskirts of town, just a few minutes walk to the main streets. The higher floors have great views. Good size rooms and bathrooms. Unfortunately half of our light bulbs weren't working and the beds are very very firm. Breakfast was totally Asian buffet style so not much choice if noodles and curry isn't your thing in the morning. Breakfast is served until 10 - we went down at 8.45 to a completely empty dining room - the bread was starting to dry out, there were only cold fried eggs and quite a lot of food on the floor making it slippery.
The pool is lovely but rather small, luckily we had this to ourselves too. Loved the fact there was a washing machine and tumble dryer - cost a total of 50 baht for a good size load. Staff on reception were very helpful.
Wi-Fi not brilliant but free. A short walk to the airport bus stop - bus is only 100 baht per person and takes about an hour.
- vicr702 (4/5): At least it was clean - Very basic accommodation. There wasn’t a top sheet or a cover for the duvet on the bed, very concerning. No face or hand towels. For a hotel that is meant to have been recently renovated it was left wanting, it has so much potential! On the plus side I can’t fault the bathroom. The room and common areas were clean. The reception and breakfast staff were very friendly and helpful. Location was good for walking to Old Town and the bus to the airport practically on the door step. If you’re happy with no frills, reasonably priced accommodation this is the place for you.
- blurina (2/5): horrible place - avoid - I have never seen such a dirty hotel. Dirty bathroom with marks after someones last use, curtains with grease splash...lack of words, just gross. We did complain so they upgraded our room but it was the same dirty... we decided to leave and only one thing was nice there - refund. We end up on looking for a last minute hotel. Definitely avoid !!!
- 998asifm (2/5): Strange hotel - They are one of the biggest hotel in Phuket town but not properly maintained,,at check in at 3 am the recepti6wakeup from sleep which is ok..but they behaviour was really funny he kept bath towel on his shoulders which was strange for me for such a big hotel..coridors had strang smell..no wifi signals in my room next to elevator 807..breakfast is not nice and hygienic questionable..nothing is near not recommended at all at this price.
- 953bridgeto (6/5): Pretty average - I didn’t know what to expect from our stay, but the experience wasn’t great. The room itself isn’t bad, minus the aircon that leaked multiple times during our stay, once at 2 am and wet our clothing that was near it. The wifi doesn’t work in the rooms and beds are rock hard. It was clean however. Mini kitchenette, seperate shower and toilet. TV was from the early 2000’s and had no service. Everything is a bit outdated. Staff were pretty terrible, and made it difficult to want to ask for help. It took them 6 hours to fix our air con and had to ask them twice (before and after our day tour). They seemed disinterested in their job, and hardly spoke English. They were on their phones 99% of the time we walked past. For the price it wasn’t awful but there are much better places to stay in the area
- 19-Jessica-92 (6/5): Basic but pleasant - Myself and a friend stayed at the Ipavilion for 3 nights. The rooms are basic but clean enough. Little kitchen area, massive window, separate toilet and shower.
My negatives mirror what has already been said numerous times. The rooms have no form of ventilation so do smell damp at times. The air con is extremely noisy and doesn’t work brilliant. And the WiFi is rubbish apart from in the lobby. However, the place is overrun which Chinese people. I would imagine they do so well on their custom they do not respond or act on suggestions from other ethnicities as they don’t bring in as much revenue.
That said the receptionist were lovely and very helpful. It was a pleasant enough stay.
- NIRADAP (10/5): Great Food good service - This is my third time visiting here.
The room is clean and room condition is tidy.
Staffs are very nice and helpful.
I was asking for directions and facilities around town.
Location is just 10 mins walk to street arts in phuket old town. So it is very convenience and safe to travel alone.
The hotel just had the renovation done.
- BobS3821 (2/5): Disappointed from the first step - We arrived mid afternoon expecting to stay for a couple of relaxing nights to finish our holiday off.
It's down a back ally which even our taxi driver struggled to find, the reception area looks half nice but soon as we got our key and headed off to our room we could see this was a run down hotel not worthy of much more than 2 stars.
The room was smelly and really run down, bathroom similar.
Air-conditioning barely worked and extractor in bathroom didn't work. Waking in the middle of night the room smelled like a sewer. Yuk.
Windows would not open to let air in.
Television came from the 90s and basically was unwatchable with no channels clear.
Bed was average but pillows were terrible.
Breakfast was Chinese based and restaurant was jam packed full with 4 tour bus loads of Chinese.
Wifi only works in lobby and it's a hot spot from down the road.
Pool looked ok but we didn't go near it as we just wanted to leave
Luckily we managed to get a refund for one night and left for Nai Yang Beach, phuket only a short distance away to spend our last night in luxury.
BEST ADVISE IS TO INSPECT ROOM BEFORE PAYING A CENT! Don't book online as they will force you to either stay one night or loose your money.
- JanelleK149 (2/5): Huge disappointment - We booked online and the pictures online are not what you get in person. We had a rather non existent welcome, the room was on the 12th floor, some windows along the corridor you couldn't even see out of. When we entered the room we quickly decided we didn't want to stay but unfortunately there was a cancellation fee of a nights' stay so stayed for the one instead of two. The room smelt like a cleaning product in the beginning but soon turned into sewerage smells the longer we were there, broken window, the old television had hardly any cable channels or channels you could even see, no wifi on our floor. The bed was a spring one which was old and uncomfortable and the pillows were worth chucking out. The air con was hideous, old and non performing, we wondered if that was producing sewer smells also. Shower was okay but the surrounds were grotty. The breakfast was well below average and it was like being in a Chinese food hall. Tour buses galore, just terrible, difinitely not a 3 star hotel by any stretch of the imagination. There are plenty of nice hotels for similar prices in the area and would strongly recommend you don't book here.
- brucek607 (2/5): Disappointment - The hotel is nothing like the pictures online. It needs lots of updating. The rooms are in disrepair and the toilet and taps leaked while we were there. The entire property is run down and dirty. Our room smelled like a sewer. In its heyday this was probably worthy of the stars it has but I expect it is likely nothing more than a 2!
- DeRubi (8/5): Hilarious and good service! - I was stayed here w/ my brother for 2 nights. It's was warming and nice hotel. The breakfast a little bit basic w/ chinese style but it's okay. I saw they have a swimming pool but not yet try. Location of the hotel is near old town but the Phuket Town so boring. Staff at the hotel is really helpful and friendly, they're help us transfer to the harbour for catch the trip to Koh Phi Phi, but they're spoken English less, not really good, sometimes they're don't understand what i say. My room is on top floor w/ nice view to the town, room is clean and comfortable. Lovely. Highly recommended for everyone w/cheap price and good value. We'll definitely choosing I Pavilion again if we come back in future.
Thank for your served.
Ngoc, Vietnam
- NathanFowler2091 (6/5): TO THE OWNER OF THIS HOTEL - Right, stayed here for 5 nights. Had a superior room on the 12th floor, amazing views. Even though we booked a basic room. So thank you for that. The bathroom could do with a lick of paint, looks as though they haven't used water proof paint and its flaking off
Next, swimming pool area is lovely. BUT please could you make your staffs job slightly easier by putting 1 bin there, as it seems to collect rubbish, by lazy people not taking it back to their room. It'll put a smile on their face, I'm sure of it.
Could you please implement your own internet system, instead of using a hot spot 100m down the street. If you need to upload something like I did, then this becomes a 24hour operation and I ended up going to factory cafe opposite for the day. It doesn't cost a lot, and I'm sure you'll get more satisfied customers.
Food, breakfast is mainly Chinese food, I knew this from reviews on here before, but there is fruit, bread, sausages and eggs, so westerners you'll be okay! Aim to go there for 9am, as its full of Chinese people on day drip between 7-8.45. We were recommended by the receptionist not to eat here in the evening, surely that says something..
And yeah prepare to feel like your in china.
This hotel could be so much better, with a small little investment.
There are building works going on at the school next door, 9-5 is noise but yeah its okay.
Only a 10min walk from the old town.
- shelagh738 (8/5): Amazing views - We enjoyed our stay at the i pavilion, we had an enormous room on the 12th floor, with a kitchen, dining table and chairs, sofa, big bed and big balcony. And a panoramic view of Phuket town and even could see the sea. Nice bathroom, although shower not very powerful.
The breakfast was generally Asian food but I tried it and enjoyed. But toast and cornflakes also available. And freshly fried eggs.
The staff were all friendly and helpful. Good value for money!
