• Mark (2/5): Disappointed - I would have stayed the second night that I had paid for if there wasn't a piss stained mattress over my head and the fact that i had to fold the pillow so many times I thought I was making an origami animal.

• Joannams (9/5): - Staff, localisation You might get bedroom at the last floor, which means many, maaany stairs. Beds were a little wobbly and short while laying (im 160cm, but that might be my personal opinion) and short while sitting on the lower bed, not comfortable to sit. When checking out u can leave your luggage - till 1pm its 3GBP, whole day its 4. In my opinion it would be nice to have it as a free option.

Llegue a las 3:00 de la mañana y me mandaron para la calle dije q al menos me dejaran pasar lo q quedaba de noche en un acierto o sofá ya había pagado la cama . No solucionan nada . Fue descortés y me mandó a la calle el de la recepción. Q poca empatía. Con el turista .

• Benjamin Manuel (10/5): A price-efficient modest place to stay in London. - Unbeatable price/quality. For a cheap price you get a very decent place to sleep at the heart of London. Rooms and bathrooms were clean and well-maintained. I was pretty satisfied with the breakfast too, given how expensive it is to eat out in the city. Staff were polite and friendly. I would definitely return here if I was looking for hostel stays again in London. No complaints really. For the price I paid, it was as good as I could expect.

• claudio (10/5): I love Astor Museum - Accoglienza super, intraprendente e sempre disponibile. La posizione perfetta per gli spostamenti - praticamente fuori dalla porta c’è il British museum. Astor Museum ti dà la possibilità di fare un viaggio nel viaggio, conoscendo sempre nuove persone, da tutto il mondo, all’interno della struttura. Voto 10 La pulizia non è perfetta, ma d’altronde è un ostello con tantissima gente.

• Jessica (5/5): Incómodo - Lo único que nos gustó fue la ubicación! La cercanía para llegar a otros lugares y el lugar es muy lindo! Estuvimos en la habitación femenina de 4 personas y fue muy incómodo! Poco lugar para moverse y eran muy calurosas, teníamos la ventana abierta pero no circulaba aire. Había otras dos habitaciones en el mismo piso y había solo un baño para todos! Teníamos que usar el baño de abajo, que era de otras habitaciones y también siempre estaba ocupado. El baño no tenía para secarse las manos. En el espacio del baño no había enchufes para secar el pelo. Las duchas no tenían para apoyar tus cosas personales, era muy incómodo. No había ascensor y la habitación estaba en el último piso! Se escuchaba mucho ruido desde la habitación cuando otra persona usaba el baño o simplemente se lavaba las manos, la luz del pasillo no se podía apagar y la puerta tenía un agujero muy grande por el que entraba mucha luz y también ruido

• Kathrin (10/5): - Die Unterkunft liegt sehr nah zum Zentrum und zu den wichtigsten Sehenswürdigkeiten. Die Sanitäranlagen waren durchweg sehr sauber. Auch die Betten und Zimmer haben einen sauberen Eindruck gemacht. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Es hat alles problemlos geklappt. Ich war das zweite Mal hier und werde wieder dort übernachten.

• Juana (7/5): Bastante buena!! - El lugar tiene una excelente ubicación, pero la implicación de Elisa incluso fuera de su horario laboral hizo que mi experiencia sea exquisita, que disfrute y conozca Londres en su más genuino escénica! Elisa fue lo mejor de Astor!! Que en el segundo edificio, donde estaba alojada no haya cocina, tener que volver al edificio principal era bastante incómodo.

• Eric (9/5): - We stayed for a week and have no complaints. The kitchen is well-equipped and the bathrooms are clean. The 10-person room is big compared to other hostels. You're right in the center of London! Special thanks to all the staff for helping us and being so welcoming.

La habitación era bastante pequeña para meter 6 camas, pero positivo que incluyese un lavabo. Los baños mixtos incluyendo las duchas...hubiese preferido que fuesen separados. En la habitación las camas tenían enchufes USB pero casi ni cargaban, de hecho no podías usar el móvil mientras cargabas ya que seguía gastando batería.

• Tamara (7/5): Perfect location - Perfect location, very close to everything by foot or to a metro station. Nice quiet area next to British Museum. Staff was very nice and helpful. Cleanliness could be improved in the bathrooms. The bed dorms are comfortable but miss curtains for privacy and the drawer to store the bags is not ideal. We need to pay for luggage storage upon check-out, which was not mentioned beforehand.

• Alina Eden (9/5): - The beds were clean, FINALLY a hostel that has a place to put your stuff while sleeping (I mean the key card to the room and the keys to the padlock and water for the night kinda things). The showers had hot water and they were quite clean There was a buzzing where the charger heads were when I plugged in the usb so I had to change sides and sleep the other way around. It kept me up most of the night until I made the switch.

• Keyhan (1/5): Very disappointing stay due to unacceptable staff behavior - I stayed at this hotel last week and had already booked an additional 3 nights after returning from a short trip outside London. Unfortunately, my experience with one of the reception staff was completely unacceptable. An older male staff member with blue eyes was extremely rude, dismissive, and unprofessional. He repeatedly insisted that I could only stay for that week and refused to listen to my explanation that I already had a valid booking and was simply returning for my final nights. He also repeatedly mentioned that I had booked the room at a very cheap price. This was not my issue at all, as the price was set on Booking.com. In fact, I even agreed to pay extra when he asked for more money to change the room, but despite that, he still kept insisting that I would not be allowed to extend my stay after that period. His tone was condescending and disrespectful throughout the entire interaction, and he kept repeating the same statements without listening. Eventually, I got tired of the situation and decided to cancel my stay altogether. The whole experience was stressful and unprofessional. I immediately found another place to stay. Based on this experience, I strongly do not recommend this property due to the rude and unacceptable behavior of staff.
• Horacio Toloza (8/5): Bien, con pocas cosas podría ser mucho mejor - Esta literalmente en frente del British Museum, y cerca de St Pancras/Kigs Cross, la ubicación es muy buena. En un principio pensé que era algo malo pero terminó siendo algo positivo: como estuve en una habitación para 4 personas no me quedé en el edificio principal, sino en uno que esta a unas 2 cuadras. La cocina esta en el edificio principal y esto que me pareció malo terminó siendo positivo porque no había contaminación sonora de eso. Uno de los mejores puntos sin duda es uno de los empleados, el recepcionista, lamentablemente olvidé su nombre, en un momento le dije "no se cuanto te pagan, pero es poco para lo que trabajas" y es lo que pienso 100%. Estuve 4 noches y sólo no me lo crucé en el check-out, después estaba ahí todo el día, todos los días atendiendo con buena energía a los viajeros. Es una persona que mejora la experiencia de pasar por este hostel. La puerta de entrada tenía un sistema de cierre que daba portazos, creo que se puede arreglar poniendo unos topes de goma en el marco. Otro aspecto que se podría mejorar es poner cortinas en las camas, es algo que suma privacidad y confort. La instalación eléctrica era un poco precaria, solo una zapatilla que llega a cada cama. La habitación da a la calle y en momentos a alguien le puede llegar a molestar el ruido, no es mi caso pero lo menciono por si a alguien le parece importante este detalle. Aún hoy sigo sin entender que cama me asignaron, había carteles con los nombres de los huéspedes pero los dos correspondientes a la cama marinera estaban en la cama de arriba, no había numeración ni nomenclatura. Agarré la cama de abajo por comodidad y al parecer acerté porque el cartel rezaba que había multas para los que no respetaran la cama asignada y no fui multado.
• Bojana (7/5): Good location, uncomfortable beds - Location. Right next to British museum. There's a sink in the room which can be handy but also noisy because the pressure is too high. There are hooks in the room for coats. Kitchen is kept clean by staff and also residents. There's complimentary tea and coffee, and some cereal breakfast for 3.5gbp. Restaurants and cafes nearby for breakfast or lunch. It was central yet quiet street. Metal bed frames and under bed lockers, with metal padlocks, making too much noise especially for person on lower bed right above them. Mattresses are way too hard, pillows are too thin, i struggled to get restful night. Probably had to do with snores in the room and loud guests next door. Walls are paper thin. My room was on 2nd floor, feels like 3rd due to mid floors, which shared bathrooms are on and toilets. Those could use some shelves. Stored luggage upon checkout for 4-5gbp. Room door also make quite some noise when closing due to auto lock. Curtains on beds would be nice. Beds are quite low, couldn't sit up properly.
• Priyanjana (9/5): Inexpensive, well-connected hostel in a walkable neighbourhood - Located right next to the British Museum, the location and price absolutely cannot be beat. The vibe inside is relaxed and laidback, but with a focus on safety and inclusivity, with a full social calendar. Interacting with Aitor is a joy. Not much. Obviously, this is a hostel, so you need to be prepared to lug your stuff up and down stairs. If there's a way to dim or switch off the lights right outside #22 at night, that would be great - the light hits whoever's sleeping closest to the door right in the eyes whenever someone goes in or out.

Aitor at reception is genuinely such a kind and nice person, he made me feel really welcome from the start. All the staff were amazing too – they really look after you and make you feel comfortable. The location is great and everything was very clean. I definitely recommend it and would happily come back! Thanks a lot Nothing , honestly everything was great !
