Guest Reviews
- Jada (10/5): - I absolutely loved my stay at Rove La Mer and am already planning to stay here again in March! Great location, great amenities, and amazing staff! A true gem!
- Hussain (10/5): - Cozy room, lovely beach and swimming pool nice restaurant and a very friendly staff
- Abdulla (10/5): - Love the Rove! I have been staying at this chain for years now and it does not disappoint.
- Daniel (8/5): - Excellent location by J1. Walkable, quiet and safe. Highly recommend area. Food menu in hotel is limited. Kind of pricey for what you get for room amenities but overall nice.
- MOHAMMAD (2/5): - My stay at this hotel was extremely disappointing. I arrived after a very long flight, reaching the hotel at around 6:00 a.m. I requested from the front desk employee, Ali, to assign me a quiet room since I was utterly exhausted and in desperate need of rest. Unfortunately, he placed me in a very noisy room directly overlooking ongoing construction work next to the hotel.
The situation did not end there. To my surprise, I discovered that there was no hot water in the bathroom and no internet service. When I asked the staff to resolve the issue, I was informed that there was a technical problem with the hot water system in my room, which required shutting it off completely. If that was the case, why was I assigned this room in the first place?
Furthermore, I was shocked when my guest was denied the ability to contact my room on the grounds that it was “too early in the morning,” even though she had arrived at 9:30 a.m. for a scheduled meeting. She eventually left without meeting me, which caused me considerable embarrassment.
Another unpleasant experience occurred the following morning when I went to the restaurant for breakfast. The restaurant was overcrowded, and I was asked to provide my room number to wait for my turn to enter. I waited for a very long time—almost half an hour—without success, and eventually had to return to my room and take my breakfast outside the hotel. To make matters worse, the water pressure in the bathroom was extremely weak.
Without going into
- Ikramy (10/5): - Very good place.
- Maya (10/5): - Right on the beach clean and good staff .. very busy pool
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Right on the beach clean and good staff .. very busy pool
- Leandro (10/5): - Although I was VIP I did not get any upgrades only the 20% voucher for 1 usage for food and drinks. The stay was great!
- Kirk (10/5): - Good
- sandra dinora (10/5): - Amazing
- Nada A (8/5): - Honestly for the price compared to the other hotels in the area it’s worth it. The rooms are on small. But everything is accessible. The best is they have a washer and dryer in the facilities. So u don’t have to over pack. A 24 hour store in the building you can get drinks to gifts to even sandwiches. The prices were very reasonable. They have a breakfast buffet. It was decent but they need more variety. We were there 2 weeks so we got sick of the food. Overall a nice family friendly place
- Julita (10/5): - Great stay!
- Raif (10/5): - I’m just
- Tariq (2/5): - They tried to deny me half board lunch although I was still registered guest. Had a heated argument with restaurant, front desk and manager to convince them I was entitled to the meal that I paid for and hadn’t received yet.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Loved it! - The Rove La Mer was great! The staff was extremely attentive and responsive, the room was clean and bright. The beach is right at your footsteps and it's close to great new restaurants and easy to grab a cab elsewhere.
- Bibi Zahbeen (10/5): - Best hotel to stay
Very clean and the staff are friendly
Rove make ur stay in dubai unforgettable
The food is just wow
The management is professional
Love everything at the hotel
- Husna (8/5): - Could have been a little nicer for the price
- David (10/5): - Good food good
Service. Clean room. Great location that’s near
Clubs and restaurants
- Lara (10/5): - Excellent, friendly staff and another wonderful stay
- Marina (10/5): - Very friendly
- Christian (10/5): - Everything was pretty much perfect, the staff very friendly and helpful.
- ALENA (10/5): - Exceptional Customer Service at Rove La Mer Beach!
I had a wonderful experience at Rove La Mer Beach, not just because of the beautiful location and comfortable accommodations, but because of the outstanding customer service provided by Youness. The management team went above and beyond to assist me with a booking issue, showing understanding, flexibility, and a true commitment to guest satisfaction.
It’s rare to find a hotel that genuinely cares about its guests, and Rove La Mer Beach exceeded my expectations. I truly appreciate their professionalism and kindness. I’ll definitely be returning and recommending this hotel to friends and family. Thank you for making my stay so pleasant!
- MAMUN (10/5): - Nice hotel with a private beach area
- David (10/5): - Property is excellent. Staff are fantastic. Food and drink prices were reasonable. They provide a free shuttle bus to certain areas to assist with transport.
The hotel provide earplugs for the room and you will need them if you are beach front side and
trying to sleep before midnight, there is the newly developed J1 beach which has amazing beach clubs and the hotel has great atmosphere too, so either embrace that or try the ear plugs :)
Will definitely book again.
- abdullah (8/5): - Average
- Karen (10/5): - So much to do at the resort. Everything you need is right there. We especially enjoyed sitting on the terrace having drinks at the end of a busy day in Dubai.
- Tom R (10/5): A nice stay on the beach - This was a nice modern (like everything in Dubai) beachfront hotel. Clean and convenient location, with lively music on the pool deck at night.
- sam (10/5): - Keep it up
- Mansour (10/5): - good choice
- Vincent (8/5): - Modern hotel, comfy bed, happy hour every day, nice pool….15/25 mins from the mall depending on traffic. Near a few beach front restaurants, al pretty exclusive and pricey.
- Angela (8/5): Great location - Great hotel in a lovely safe neighbourhood. Friendly staff. Comfortable beach loungers and great service.
Only downside was the very loud music coming from the hotel next door. Loud pumping music from morning. Spoilt the relaxation. Quite a few of the people staying at hotel were not happy. Beach did have some jelly fish so beware
- Richard (10/5): - All is wonderful nothing to add more except that pillow don’t smell good
- Anthony (10/5): Hidden gem in Dubai on the beach - This Hotel is a hidden gem, it so clean, I mean spotless and attention to detail is outstanding. We booked this as a cheap (not too far from the Airport but on the beach) stop over as part of a Middle East far east tour and wow what a find. It’s in a new developing area with new huge villa going up around it and right on a beautiful beach.
The staff here are amongst the best I have experienced in my 50 years of travelling.
Has an in house shop, good 24hr gym and great facilities such as laundry room / ironing room, check out showers / good luggage storage system (secure/easy access). Breakfast was also excellent… all. This for £135 a night
- Oliver (10/5): - Epic
- Sara (10/5): Just great - Modern, clean hotel with resort feel, with a great location (just prepare to spend some money on careems (taxi app), like you would anywhere in dubai). Not sure why it's only 3* since it has everything.
I'd stay again - much better and more autentic location than the palm.
The pool was very nicely warm and there was always a space on the sundecks, even during the new years.
- Arkin (10/5): - Sea side, restaurants , walkside, beach ,pool ,food all was good
- david (10/5): - Excellent new beach location
- Viktoryia (10/5): - Very nice hotel, extremely friendly service, tasty breakfast, we will definitely come back!
- Arkin (10/5): - Value for money, great staff and view
- Chandima (10/5): - Good
- Elizabeth (8/5): - The hotel staff is friendly and helpful, the location on the beach is great, rooms clean and sheet nice. The hotel was very crowded because it is such a good deal, we secured our beach chair very early. Hotel shuttle has limited hours but taxis are available.
- Tarja (4/5): - Naapuritontin rakennustyömaa aloitti paaluttamisen klo 7.30 aamulla. Ei kiva. Muuten hotelli oli siisti, hauska ja rento. Oma ranta, vaikkakin pieni, oli myös mukava.
- Jamie (10/5): - :-)
- Arkin (10/5): - Nice, simple and cool
- Moustapha (10/5): - Value for money. Nicely maintained property
- Bertram (10/5): - Yu
- Vitaly (8/5): - Staff and service was amazing, rooms need a bit more soundproofing though
- Mikail (10/5): - best place to stay
- Susan Lloyd (10/5): - Excellent service, the hotel is in a great location, the property condition and facilities are also excellent, everything was very clean.
- H R (10/5): 6 stars for the ace staff - What a lovely place! New and clean, and the staff…absolute stars everyone I spoke to! I loved my stay and want to come back. They even gave me an early check in and a later check out. So accommodating! I like the little beach area too.
- ABDULLARHMAN (10/5): - thnx stuff
- Aisha (10/5): - Firstly loved the theme of the hotel and decor, everything was always kept so clean and I was so impressed with housekeeping working even in the evenings, they were so helpful and kind and nothing was too much trouble for them.
Another that impressed me was the shop in the hotel which normally I’ve experienced to be really expensive because of the convenience but it has a great selection, normal priced items and the ready meals were really tasty and priced so cheap!
The restaurant offers really tasty food, not bad priced and decent portions - the best is the tikka taco’s! Really pleasant staff and ordering for room service is also with such high standard
The only thing that was a let down was towards the end of my stay was one snobby waitress that had a bad attitude towards me at breakfast and I couldn’t understand why! Anyway this did not impact my opinion overall.
Breakfast is really decent, amazing coffee machines and overall relaxing enjoyable environment.
LOVED that the pool was a really good size and stayed open until 10pm. I would wake up at silly hours 2/3/4/5/6am and everytime I looked outside I found staff cleaning the pool or the lounge areas.
This by far should be a 4* hotel, but perhaps it may not have the wow factor anymore as it really excels your expectation being a 3*.
The free shuttle service is amazing, only suggestion would be the 6pm pickup to be supervised, especially from Thursday and the weekend. People would push, were rude so defo recommend!
- Verified traveler (10/5): Wonderful stay - Wonderful stay! All good, no complaints.
- Ali (10/5): - Staff
- Abdullah (10/5): - Great stay
- Tarek (2/5): - We checked in at 4:30 am. We had 2 rooms. Linens were stained and bed was full of short hair, bathrooms were extremely dirty and the toilet was dirty. It was the same thing in both rooms except one had an overwhelming smell of paint. So they moved us to the 5th and 6th floors where the hallways smelled like mold and sewage the new rooms were better but it was so disgusting that we left in the morning.
If you want to sleep in unknown stains and what looks like pubic hair on your bed go there.
- Vanitha (10/5): - Area was bit far from main attractions. Good clean hotel with good facilities. Liked the 24 hr supermarket. Overall good
- Rafiq (8/5): - Nice property overall! Room with two twin beds not ideal (would prefer two doubles) but overall hotel was new and well maintained. Staff were friendly and beach area was nice.
- Stian (10/5): - Clean all the time, like luxus. Good service, nice people. Ok beach, But taxi is cheap and kite beach is just 10 min away; 30 AED. Like it. 4,5 out of 5.
- Annelis (10/5): - Hermoso hotel, excelentemente limpio! Todos los trabajadores súper agradables y atentos. :)
- Camilla (8/5): - The property is beautifully decorated and it has a cool beach vibe. The area around it is still under construction. It will probably be nice in a year or so. The staff was friendly and helpful. It seems to be a great option for famlies with kids.
- Yousef (10/5): - One of The best places I have stayed in
- Alfredo (10/5): Excellent stay. Recommended. - Excellent hotel staff, friendly and helpful.
The hotel installations are very clean and the room is superb.
Location is great. Near the beach and a minutes away from Dubai best iconics landmarks.
- ahlam (10/5): - My niece and nephew had soo much fun at the beach!
- Aiswarya (8/5): - I booked the stay for my family. The property is good just wish if the staff gave you reply fast for any concerns or questions.
- Arjun (10/5): - Very close to the beach and has its own private beach. Beautiful property with very eclectic style.
- fawzi (10/5): Recommend - Its was amazing, the kids had an amazing time
- Shaaban (10/5): - This is second time in
Very amazing

We had to physically go downstairs 😒
- Omar (2/5): Avoid this hotel until construction is finished - Avoid this hotel until construction is finished. NO information has been provided prior to us arriving to the hotel regarding the construction site.
- Mohamed Mohamed Loutfy (10/5): - It was very good
- Philip (8/5): Great but a couple of issues. - Really nice welcome from the front desk who kindly let me check in early after a long flight. NIce modern style and great breakfast buffet. I had a problem with the aircon which wasn't resolved and there is building work on both sides of the hotel.
- rolando (10/5): - It is an excellent property. Beach front clean excellent service…
- Telma moteiro (8/5): - The hotel is new, it's beautiful, but unfortunately it's not the hotel's fault, there's a lot of construction going on around there. the food could also be better and have more options!
- Waleed (10/5): - Nice hotel on the beach
- Hitesh (10/5): - Fantastic value hotel which was great and only disturbed by noise from neighbouring building works. Highly recommended
- Freddy (8/5): - Good if slightly generic hotel - clean and nice pool (beach currently under construction) with onsite gym, pool, supermarket, restaurant. Food ok but not great, staff nice, decor quite ‘clubby’/hostelly
- Vartkes (10/5): It Deserves 4 Stars 👌 - Knowing it’s a 3 stars hotel , it deserves at least 4 stars , everything was perfect , gd location , clean , location is perfect
- Batbold (10/5): - Pool
- Melissa (10/5): - The staff was very friendly and made check in and check out a breeze. The hotel looks new and it was very modern and clean. The pool and the beach was just enough for everyone to have fun
- gabriella (8/5): -
good location in residential area of Dubai.
Unfortunately very noisy as a lot of constrction is going on next door to the hotel .
- Najla (4/5): - The hotel was very basic more like a motel. The room very small and the bathroom had no amenities.
- Oleg (10/5): - New, very comfortable, very cool place to relax and enjoy
- Moh Naser (10/5): - NICE BEACH FOR THE HOTEL USE , CLEAN AND NICE DESIGN , ROOM IS OK TOO
- Arham (2/5): - rooms smelled, bathroom was clogged
- Rosemary (10/5): - The hotel staff got the assignment. Warm personable hotel. Love it. Will be back.
- Yevgeniy (8/5): - Good aver all
- Yevgeniy (8/5): - All
Good
- Melissa (10/5): - Stay was great. It’s a bit far from tourist attractions and the public transit but it was worth it. The beach and outdoor area is lovely. There’s a lot of construction around - like all of Dubai - but there was no noise or bother.
- Mukesh (10/5): - property was nice, had a good private beach and was accessible.
Didn't have breakfast included and transportation options to nearby places were very limited.
- Simon (8/5): - Nice and modern. Nice view of city
- Abid (10/5): - Excellent hotel with a great atmosphere. The staff are wonderful.we come every December & yes there were construction going on making the la mer area into a brand new eating & social area but it didn't really bothers us ..the hotel beach is small but prefect for sunbathing & playing beach sports ..
- Bashar (4/5): - The cleaning staff in the hotel have to be fired. The room was filthy!!
Serious cleanliness issues in the hotel and lots of “buts” and justifications by staff!!
- Frank (8/5): - Quiet
- Marty (10/5): - This is a beautiful and well appointed hotel. The breakfast and staff are superb. The ambiance, outdoor seating area, beach access, make it easy to linger and relax.
