• Richard (9/5): Super schoon hotel met ruime kamers naast het station! - Al veel hotels gehad in Tokyo aangezien we al een aantal keer in Japan zijn geweest. Voor de tweede keer dit hotel geboekt. Wat een prachtig schoon hotel met zeer ruime kamers naast het station! Echt alles is aanwezig, van badzout tot nespresso koffie op de kamer. Een uitgebreid ontbijt, wasmachines, restaurants, bar/lounge en convenient store …. Dit alles in het hotel aanwezig!!! Je kunt zelf aangeven of je elke dag de kamer geheel schoongemaakt wil hebben of alleen de handdoeken wilt verwisselen. De omgeving van het hotel is rustig, aan de andere kant van het station is een grote supermarkt ( veel keus in sushi!! En niet duur!!) en er zijn verschillende restaurants. Het hotel is maar 3 haltes verwijderd van Tokyo station !!!! Dit hotel is echt een aanrader!!! Prijs/ kwaliteit verhouding is super!! Mochten we weer in Tokyo zijn dan neem ik zeker weer dit hotel! Top!! Helemaal niets !!

Supermarket and restaurants handy The bed in the standard room was a little on the small side but when we asked about alternative options the staff were very helpful and we were able to upgrade

• Dominik (9/5): - Das Hotel liegt etwas außerhalb direkt an einer Bahnstation. Dadurch ist man zwar ein bisschen unterwegs aus der Innenstadt, es ist aber sehr gut und ruhig gelegen. Im Erdgeschoss befindet sich ein conbini und im Umkreis sind weiter Einkaufsmöglichkeiten fußläufig zu erreichen.

• taktako (9/5): Very good if you plan to visit Disney or stay in Eastern Tokyo - We booked this hotel to be close to Tokyo DisneySea. The JR station is literally in front of the hotel, and it takes a few minutes to reach Maihama. The amenities are very good, as expected for a Tokyo property. The hotel has a laundry, a (Japanese-only) library and a Conbini on the first floor. The value for the price is simply unbeatable. Nothing that we really disliked. It is a little far from the key touristic spots of Tokyo (30 to 45 minutes to reach Shinjuku or Shibuya) and changing trains in Tokyo Station is really long. But that's not really imputable to the hotel

Multiple convenience stores and a grocery store within a block. Hotel new and clean. Very helpful staff. Offered a room upgrade at a discounted rate which we gladly accepted. Room was huge. Only negative was the breakfast selection was average and therefore disappointed

Convenience store downstairs in the hotel, laundry, microwaves on 2nd floor for the interesting range of meals you can buy from the supermarket when you're too tired to stay out! Clean and modern hotel with option for daily room cleaning. Staff were friendly and helpful in securing taxis. There weren't a lot of dining options in the area so it's best to book ahead. There's a restaurant at the hotel (booked out for tour groups) but we ate at the bar, which was decent. The staff at the bar were lovely.

• Claudia Denanda (10/5): Best hotel in Tokyo - The room is spacious, location was quiet yet in front of station, near to convenience store and supermarket. Was my second time stay at Tokyo East Side Hotel Kaie and sure will comeback whenever I visit Tokyo.

• Rashid (8/5): - The hotel's TVs are limited to only a few select TV stations and channels. They are not smart TVs so they aren't included with streaming apps and not equipped with screen mirroring features to allow guests to watch streaming apps or even YouTube.
