• Khadijah (1/5): Horrible, violent owner who refused to speak like adults and communicate properly to resolve a misunderstanding - the facilities are passable. smaller than pictured Owner was verbally and physically violent despite multiple attempts from our side to stay civil to resolve a misunderstanding. ------ Foreigners beware. I booked this property for October 8th - 9th 2022. There was a misunderstanding regarding the property rules and policies as they were not clearly stated on Booking.com at the time of booking, and the lack of clear communication of the rules in English by the owner. We were not trying to break any of the rules set by the property that were made clear to us from the beginning such as not being outside on the balcony area by 9pm as written on the rules stated on Booking.com. The owner of the house came barging in at around 10pm at night and started yelling at us. Despite our attempts to talk to him calmly to resolve the misunderstanding, the owner refused to act like an adult and escalated the situation in mere seconds. The owner was verbally abusive and physically aggressive towards my group and especially me. I was pushed by him twice as I was trying to prevent him to barge into the house. He treated us like a criminal right from the beginning. Had he been kind, calm, and behave like a proper adult, we might have come to an understanding. If the police officers weren't there, we genuinely believed that he would've escalated the situation further and be more violent towards us. The owner insisted us to leave the property at around 11:30 PM, which made it difficult to us to find a new accommodation. Despite all these issues, the owner refused to take accountability for his actions and refused to refund our money. As for the property itself, 1. The property facility is decent and though the actual spaces seems smaller than the pictures, the house is still pretty spacious. 2. The name of the property makes it seem like the property is near Asakusa, however, it is actually pretty far away from Asakusa. 3. The property is located in the middle of a densely populated neighborhood. Uncomfortable area.
