Guest Reviews

- Ivo (2/5): - The staff moved me to a different room in just a few minutes. Showers didn't work the first night, bathrooms were terribly stinky the second night.
Breakfast was a bit lacking, only sweets, no cold milk or Jogurt for the cereal, coffee was bad.
When I arrived I think some night staff was yelling at the lady cleaning the kitchen.
Rooms were super simple but okay for the price if I didn't have to share it with a blatant racist and an old man burning incense all day I wouldn't have complained.
I guess all the good reviews are for the camping not the rooms inside.
- Olli (10/5): Autoton paratiisinurmialue virtaavan kirkkaan vuoristoveden äärellä.

- Simon Toftlund (5/5): A bit too primitive for the high rating - no soap and bad hygiene - Nice outdoor area There were no soap in the bathrooms which was quite tedious and especially problematic given the buffet breakfast. From the smell in the toilet it seems like we weren’t the only ones getting bad stomachs despite using our own soap.
Also only took cash which seems a bit suspicious for such a big place (and as a foreigner is a big 20% extra charge basically).
Showers often didn’t work or had no hot water.

- Michelle (8/5): So nice I stayed longer than planned - It is such a peaceful family environment. Super clean. Lovely location, great garden with stream going through it
Friendly helpful staff
Walks accessible from the door Not a dislike as such, but soap to wash hands after the toilet would be great. Water on 2 occasions on my 7 day trip was off so no shower or moved to outside block
There are no signs for quiet time other than not to use the kitchen, so some guests were loud later with no one advising them of noise level. These people moved on, but if only there for a short time, this would have been the only experience

- Diego (9/5): Stayed for one night. Great place to stay before going into Frey in the morning - Stayed just for one night, place is well built and has wide shared spaces and normal size dorms of 6. The location is great if you're either planning to hike to Frey Shelter or to enjoy Lago Gutierrez If you book a shared room, they offer you sheets but you have to paid for them outside the price of the reservation. This seems to be by design. They try to manage this place in some sort of "shelter like" hostel. Not that I was upset about that, but just surprised.
- Mariano (9/5): - Hermoso lugar de desconexion
Lxs voluntarixs lo mejor del lugar ❤️❤️
- Mylène (10/5): Exceptional - Best hostel in Argentina. Lovely staff and calme place.
- Adam (9/5): Amazing campsite with lovely hostel - The volentires are lovely and very helpful and great fun around the camp fire !🔥 Even though id stayed for an entire week and on great terms with all the stadf I was charged a fee for checking out after 11
- Nitsan (9/5): Superb - Nice and helpful stuff
Bonfire at night
- Clare (10/5): Exceptional - Amazing location, awesome staff and volunteers, really nice owners, incredibly clean and great vibes.
- Steiney (7/5): If you like the outdoors, this is your place - It’s a beautiful location with a river running right next to it and two fire pits where people gather in the evenings. It seems to be a popular destination for Argentinians to camp and you could see all ages there. The breakfast was amazing, homemade bread and more. The bunk beds are very squeaky and didn’t have stairs. The breakfast was finished at when I arrived at 9:50 (though it said until 10).
- Camilo (10/5): Exceptional -
- Evanrogers (10/5): Exceptional - Great place to stay, little bit out of town, but there is a bus nearby that takes you all the way to the centre and back
