- Sarah (8/5): Merkwürdige Atmosphäre, an die man sich aber gewöhnen kann - Es ist nicht sehr weit bis zur U-Bahn Station. Es gibt allerhand free-bees, die wir aber fast gar nicht in Anspruch genommen haben, weil wir immer viel unterwegs waren... Aber an den Kosmetikartikeln habe ich mich gerne bedient und auch jeden Tag die super entspannende Badewanne mit Whirlpool und Fernseher benutzt! Das Badezimmer war wirklich ein Träumchen. Unsere Koffer wurden zudem vor dem Check-In und nach dem Check-Out aufbewahrt. Die Seitenstraße, in der das Hotel liegt, ist vor allem nachts ein bisschen shady. Auch die Atmosphäre in dem gesamten Hotel kam mir irgendwie komisch vor. Das Zimmer hat zwar Fenster, die kann man aber nicht öffnen und dadurch, dass direkt nebenan ein anderes Gebäude ist, gibt es auch kein Tageslicht. Es ist entsprechend ziemlich dunkel in dem Zimmer, weswegen ich mich nicht super wohl dort gefühlt habe. Außerdem ist das Zimmer sehr klein und man hat Schwierigkeiten zwei Koffer dort zu öffnen.

Obviously we loved the resort in Osaka more because we had the premium room and this was much smaller but it was still comfy and nice. The only problem I had was when I got in the shower there was a long black hair and that’s a big turn off for me as I’m a huge germaphobe but I washed it down and tried to forget about it because they just have everything you need at these hotels and are really friendly and awesome The hair in the tub so I would like if they washed the tub better

- Harald (8/5): Kuscheliges Wohlfühlhotel in zentraler Lage - Das Highlight war die Lounge: Massagesessel, Kaffee, Wein, Spirituosen, kleine Snacks und Salate - rund um die Uhr und inklusive. Auch sehr nett die Whirlpoolbadewanne. Der Bahnhof Ikebukuro ist nur wenige Fussminuten entfernt. Die Gegend ist sehr lebendig, aber davon hört man im Hotel nichts. Das Zimmer war für japanische Verhältnisse von normaler Größe, das ist für europäische Verhältnisse allerdings immer noch recht wenig. Es gab keinen Schreibtisch. Die Fenster waren abgeklebt und konnten auch nicht geöffnet werden. Man war den ganzen Tag auf elektrisches Licht angewiesen.

The rooms were very clean and spacious and you get so many free toiletries! It feels so luxurious Nothing much at all!

Large spacious room with access to amenities. The entertainment room with massage chairs was top tier. What I loved the most was that every room we walked into, our private room or public spaces, smelt of flowers and a day spa. Nothing comes to mind.

Das kann etwas befremdlich sein für Ausländer. In Japan ist sowas üblich. Jedoch war das zimmer Dreckig und die Bettlacken hatten einige Flecken. Sehr ekelhaft. Die Matratze ist 5 cm dick. Unter der kleinen Ledercouch und Bett war sehr viel Staub und Socken von jemand anderes!!!

Mai visto un hotel che ti dà a disposizione cosi tante comodità, prodotti per la cura della persona e servizi gratuitamente. Staff gentilissimo e super accogliente. Non è un hotel “classico”, ci vanno anche le coppie a ore, ma non ne siamo stati disturbati, anzi, non abbiamo sentito rumori o altro. La stanza era un po’ piccola, ma sembra essere uno standard.

La partie "resort" avec vraiment sympathique avec le bar à alcool et les vienasoirie à disposition en illimité ( il y a même un petit stand à Donuts le soir ) Malheureusement , le secteur est un lieu pour les Love Hotel, il y a pas mal de personnes dans la rue pour essayer de passer du temps avec des hôtesses ( cela n'arrive pas si vous vous balader en couple ). L'hotel en lui même propose les services d'un love hotel mais cela n'influe en rien la qualité.

- William (2/5): Blood stained beds - Decent train access. Cool karaoke room. This is a love hotel. I should have looked at reviews elsewhere. This place rents rooms by the hour in a street full of related businesses. Room was unclean. I could see a giant blood stain through the sheets. I'm attaching a photo of this craziness. Rooms aren't in good condition. Staff makes you leave the key at the front door which wasted time every trip out.

- Ivana (2/5): This place is NOT for travellers, it is a motel - Location, amenities This hotel is not for travellers, I learnt later on this is an ‘occasion” motel. Although I booked non-smoking room, I was accomodated in the smelly smoking room, this room was never cleaned during my 3 nights stay. The noice from the outside corridor every night, smell and noisy, broken air-con did not allow me to sleep for all 3 nights.The last night I could not bear the noice from corridor anymore and at 1.30am went out of the room to see the cause. The cleaning staff talking aloud, playing the music and heavy cleaning other rooms at nights!!!! I asked them to stop making the noise but they continued. At 1.50am I went back almost screaming to stop cleaning and making this noice at night as I had to wake up early next morning. They finally stopped but started again at 4.30am!!! Never more!!! Do not come to stay here if you travel and do not intend to use “the hourly motel” servis. Booking.com should not continue to advertise this place as a regular, solid hotel.

Hotel can also be used as a love/ „hour hotel“ which was a bit weird for European culture. But when you don t know about it you don t recognize at all! So it was not negative or weird for us. - Yoshiyoshi_ (9/5): An absolut bombastic stay - we were blown away, even though the bed messed up my hips a bit. - The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful - they had translating devices at hand, in case of language barriers. The amenities were amazing - absolute 12/10! A wonderful selection of free alcohol, non alcoholic beverages, two selections of salad, as well as free croissants, cereal, milk bread and two different kinds of cake - pretty much 24/7! ❤️ They also offered regular cold water in pitchers, or Detox water! Additionally there were personal Hygiene/skin care products available for free. The lounge was incredibly cozy - wonderful couches, a hanging chair and massage chairs. A karaoke room for those interested, and private, artificial onsen in other floors. In general, the decorations and atmosphere with the Bali Theme is really beautiful - really made it feel like a luxus spa trip! The Ikebukuro train station is, i d estimate, 8-10 minutes of walking away - and there is a giant Underpass which makes getting there, or getting anywhere else, super fast and easy. We always used the C6 and C7 exits / entrances at Echika. You can also easily get to Sunshine City by walking (exit 34/35). There are konbini close by, as well as various restaurants for food. We especially loved the Matsuya around the corner! The hotel is a love hotel - but we weren't bothered by that at all. We often spent our evenings in the lounge were couples were waiting for their rooms, but this was not a problem! It was a bit busy on saturday, but the lounge was still comfortable. This was a bombastic stay and we were blown away in the most positive way! ありがとうございます! The only thing I personally had great trouble with was the bed. The beds, according to other comments, are apparently very hard in General. However, it seems the bed in our room was already a bit outdated / old on top of that. One bed-side (mine) felt even stiffer / harder and a noticable 'ditch' / 'mould' had started to form, due to the weight of previous guests. So the mattress seemed very worn on this side. I often woke up during the night with pain on the side of my hips and the pain remained noticable during walking the following days. I thought the bed was just that hard in general, but during the last night, when we switched sleeping sides, I noticed that the other side of the bed - while still hard - was indeed more comfortable, and an even surface. It seems that side of the mattress was in better shape and i actually had a good night sleeping on that side. So it seems we were simply a bit unfortunate with this room / this bed / this mattress in particular. In the morning hours cleaning staff can be heard, as the sound insulation isnt that good. One can also hear the street outside, but I personally always have earplugs with me, and my travel partner sleeps like a stone, so we werent too bothered by the sounds. This might be something other travelers might want to take note of.

- Pitsinee (8/5): Everything's great except the smoke - As like all the bali style hotels in japan, free drink bar, lots of amenites, love all the lotions and skin cares they provide in the bathroom and one thing i love the most is the hair curler. Smart TV and can watch netflix and youtube. Just very convenient and worth the value There's smoke smell in all over the room. it's the disadvantage of these kind of hotel that you can't avoid. It might not matter to other people but it does bother me a lot since i dont smoke. Also the room is a lot smaller than most of the bali style hotels i have stayed. I barely have enough space to open my luggage

- Prentice (10/5): Great value for our stay in Japan - Out of all of our stairs in Japan, this was our best hotel. The location is close to the metro station and also the staff are very friendly.

- Matthew (10/5): Absolute steal for the price! - I thought the miso soup they provided in the lobby was actually very good! Honestly out of the 3 hotels I stayed at it was the best! The 24/7 self serve liquor on the first floor and free bath ammentities was definitely the highlight. My girlfriend and I stayed at 3 different hotels during our stay. If you don't mind that it is a "love hotel" then this is for sure a recommendation from me. It had a lot of character and the staff were extremely kind and helpful. I thought the room we booked was going to be bigger based on the picture but that's it.

- Nikolay (10/5): Exceptional - It's a great hotel with plenty of amentities and many free perks are available, not cheap, but it's a busy area in Tokyo, it cannot be cheap. I would put 11 if I could.
- Beata (9/5): a very nice cosy hotel in the middle of a very vibrant district. - Some salads, beans, jelly and buns/croissants, and beverages were provided complementary and 24Hrs. That was all quite tasty and just enough to get you going in a place where you have amazing food all around you anyways. We did not get the room cleaning notification system quite right initially.

- Rachel (9/5): Would stay at this hotel again - The property was in a great location, so many free amenities, the staff was very accommodating despite the language barrier. Would come back here again They did some maintenance on the hot springs therefore there were some days where we were unable to utilize the private baths.
- Louise (6/5): Apart from the mould this hotel was great! - We loved the amenities and the open bar/food. It was so incredibly generous. The massage chairs, dart board and karaoke was a nice addition. Staff were very friendly and incredibly helpful. There was so much black mould in our room. Everywhere you looked there was black mould, in the corners, reaching across the ceiling, down the walls. In some parts it was even developing mould crusts. Something needs to be done. We felt so nervous sleeping in a room with so much mould!
