- Christoph (9/5): - Exzellentes Frühstück. Allerdings nicht im (hohen) Preis enthalten. Das Bett war zu schmal, hier hatte es ein Versehen gegeben. Nach einer Reklamation hat man uns großzügig entschädigt. Die Lage in der Mitte von SoHo ist großartig. U-Bahn in der Nähe, ein großartiges Restaurant im Haus und weitere sind fußläufig erreichbar. Über die Hotelpreise in New York kann man lange philosophieren. Sie sind für deutsche Verhältnisse unfassbar hoch.

Restaurant waiters did not know the ingredients in their food and rather than finding out they lied that the ingredient was not in the dish which was a lie. No one helped with luggage not a good guest experience.

Proche de tout le sud Manhattan Ancien hôtel qui accuse son âge avec un personnel assez désinvolte : absence de chauffage dans la chambre ( il gelait à ces dates ) et à notre réclamation on nous propose d envoyer un technicien qui ne résoud rien … après 2 nuits sans chauffage j exige de changer de chambre : on me donne une chambre plus grande avec supplément !!! Mais toujours pas de chauffage….. je réclame et on me propose enfin un chauffage électrique à placer en chambre !!!! Invraisemblable Je précise que le hall / bar ? est également non chauffé !!! Je considère que c est inadmissible on m’a fait payer une chambre plus chère sans raisons !! Donc allez ailleurs en hiver ( en été aussi d ailleurs , il y a mieux dans le secteur )

- STEPHEN (5/5): An imperfect stay at a generally perfect hotel. - Service is excellent. Bed is comfortable. Sofa, chair and table are perfect. Bathroom well appointed and very clean. First of all, this is a true luxury hotel and high priced even for New York. but to me generally worth it. At this price though, you should be able to cast from your iPad or phone. I didn’t see a way. And the shaving mirror is not useful at all . The X00 rooms are bad unless you like a door that opens right at the bed. This room was noisy, unusual for this place. The safe was tucked into the floor of the closet so the luggage rack doesn’t fit inside. There was no room service from Sunday evening through Monday at 7…I stay here in part so I can get coffee early when I want it. One elevator was out. Leaving a note in my room is not adequate notice about a key benefit. The front desk guy made me coffee somehow which speaks to the level of service. But not the same. If the restaurant has to close, tell me when I check in and ask me what I need.

We had a large and comfortable room, the room service and cleanliness of the room was excellent. The room lacked a coffee maker (very basic and common even in simpler hotels). The hotel lobby and the corridor of the room floors were a bit simple and cheap for my taste.

- Eva (8/5): Great location downtown - The location is a must! Walkable to a lot of different places: Russ and daughters, flippers, bubby’s, Dominic Ansel, sweet rehab, Buba and amazing clothing stores too. I picked this place because of the location and where I wanted to go. We did not try the food at their restaurant but heard it was really good. On our first day, we were welcomed with fresh fruits and a box of cookies from Laduree. The hotel also provides free bottle of water and if you ask, which I did not know, they will bring you a Nespresso machine in your room so you can make yourself a cup of coffee. In the room, the sodas and juices in the fridge were free as well as the snacks in the basket which was a really nice touch. I reserved a room facing the courtyard and it was very quiet. The bed was very comfortable, the TV in the room was huge! In the bathroom, the hotel’s products are amazing and the hotel provides a lot of towels too. The bathroom was really small, not a lot of place to put our stuffs. I went with my mum who is old and the toilet where to close to the shower and it was difficult to access.

- John (10/5): My new favorite in nyc - From Tom on the overnight shift at the front desk to the day team as well (including the trainee with the glasses) everyone at the hotel was warm, helpful and kind. Sure, the rooms aren't huge, but how many suitcases do you bring anyway? The location can't be beat, and I love the fact the hotel name is nowhere to be found from the street.

You have access to Zero Bond and a speak easy bar (located in the basement). The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The room was clean, beds were comfortable, and the space was pretty good.

It’s nice that the lobby is just for guests. The room was spacious and they welcomed me with a cookie from Laduree! You can also book a small gym room to work out in, or go to the partner gym if you want something more elaborate. Location is excellent too. I can’t really think of anything.

- Jennifer (10/5): Next level service at the top of it's game. - Everything. The attention to detail was exceptional & the team displayed outstanding customer service. The best example of this was on arrival by taxi, my card was rejected for payment & I didn't have sufficient cash. Doorman Jacob suddenly appeared & paid with his own money to settle the fair. Just incredible! Could not have been any better!

- Nancy (8/5): Not up to par! - The service at the café and room service was terrible. In both cases, they brought us our coffee and we had to wait for cream. Room Service they forgot the maple syrup. A Second set of utensils and we had to wait for cream until the coffee was warm. The room was showing signs of wear and the tile in the shower could’ve used a cleaner. The chairs in the café were so worn out they were uncomfortable to sit in.
