- ashleycC9917WH (10/5): Gem in Chelsea - I’ve been staying at the MADE Hotel since 2021, and at this point I’ve probably stayed here close to 10 times for work trips to New York. Every single stay reminds me why I keep coming back. This most recent trip was over Mother’s Day weekend, and being away from my family in Seattle was harder than I expected. The staff went above and beyond to make me feel cared for and comfortable in a way that felt genuine, not forced. From the front desk, to the café, to the bar — everyone here is warm, personable, and effortlessly cool. No one makes you feel pressured or “sold to.” They just make you feel at home. The rooms are also noticeably better than the average NYC hotel room. Of course, space in New York is space in New York, but what you do get here is thoughtfully designed, beautiful, and high quality. It feels elevated without being pretentious. I also love the location. You’re not stuck in the chaos of Times Square, but you’re still perfectly positioned to walk downtown, explore the Lower East Side, grab dinner in the West Village, or catch a show. Every time I stay here, I discover a new coffee shop, lunch spot, or little corner of the city that makes me excited to come back again. Honestly, I’ve almost wanted to gatekeep this hotel because I selfishly never want it to get too busy — but it would be wrong not to give it the five stars it deserves. One of my favorite hotels in New York, without question.
- INACTIVE (7/5): Ok - I appreciate the modern look of the place, it was hip for lack of a better word. It felt very dorm room like - the bathroom was not private enough, the room was no soundproof. I think it was just a missmatch between what my expectation was for the price of $500 and what it ended up being.

- Amanda (9/5): Loved the Made Hotel - highly recommend but please note the beds are very low! - We loved the location and the general feel of the Made Hotel. Perfect for exploring NYC and in our favourite Nomad area - close to Madison Gardens/Flatiron. The staff were all great, particularly Lucas who went out of his way to accommodate a room swap. Loved the room toiletries which were regularly refreshed. Shower was fabulous. Room cleaning excellent. Breakfast was tasty with a great choice. We enjoyed the free coffee but never made it back in time for the complementary glass of wine offered between 5pm-6pm!! Be aware that the beds are on low platforms so people with mobility issues may struggle to get in/out of bed in some rooms. Once in bed the mattresses and bedding are great!! The lifts were dark and in one in particular it was a struggle to see the floor numbers!! A small point but didn’t like having plastic glasses in the rooftop bar.

- Francesco (7/5): Good aspect and not so good aspects. - It’s a well run hotel. The staff are helpful and the bar and cafe are very good. The rooms are large (by NYC standards). Prices also reasonable (again for NYC). It feels like they could do more with the space. The room was not set up well. The bed against the wall is not convenient when there’s two people. The room was large enough for the bed to have been placed with space in either side. Similarly the room was large enough to accommodate more hanging space for clothes. They could also do so much more with the rooftop bar which during the day is closed. I also didn’t love the location. Whilst geographically convenient being in midtown the surrounding ding area is quite shabby.

- Keren (7/5): The hotel offers a great location and comfortable room, the service and attitude are bad - the location is wonderful, as well as the room - I shared a deluxe room with my daughter, and we had a wonderful time. The NOMAD area is great, right in ht middle between the MoMA on the one hand and the SoHo area on the other. Something about the front desk's attitude right from the beginning, when we arrived, till the last day, didn't feel right - it was like they're doing you a favor for providing any type of assistance, preferring the company and laughter with each other rather than serving their customers. Most of them are very young, and maybe don't understand the meaning of "hospitality." It might be enough for guests who live in the US and just want a few days in the big city, but for those of us who flew long hours and spent 7 days at the hotel, it's simply not enough...
- Tour47091385244 (10/5): Amazing Boutique Hotel! Highly Recommend! - An absolutely amazing stay. In NoMad, NYC is this beautiful modern boutique hotel. I was shown great hospitality from literally everyone in the building from the hotel to the restaurant to the rooftop bar and all staff. The room was very clean, cozy and rustic but also with modern touches that I loved. The restaurant Debajo had a great atmosphere and the food was delicious!! I stopped by the bar as well, for some nice music, a drink and I view. I was not disappointed. Also would recommend the cafe and/or lobby bar. The breakfast sandwich was SPOT ON! I will definitely be staying here again!

There are rooftop parties when we were there, which didn’t bother us, but sometimes the elevator got overcrowded. The lobby is a bit dark. No breakfast option, except for delivery.

The layout of the room was efficient and clean. We like it because it’s quiet. Staffs there are super nice and friendly. I would definitely come back again.

Guest services was top notch, everyone was super friendly and extremely professional! We stayed in the penthouse suite. So luxurious, my favorite was the gold brass fixtures in the shower. Definitely recommend for couples/ girls night ! Perfect location. Thank you 😊

- Nina Carmen (10/5): Perfektes Hotel für einen New York Trip - Die Lage ist perfekt. Das Hotel ist urban-schick eingerichtet, was uns super gefallen hat. Der Service war 1A. Es gab im dazugehörigen Café sogar einen kostenfreien Kaffee für Hotelgäste. Die Zimmer sind geräumig und sehr sauber. Alles in allem ein super Hotel für einen New York Trip 🩷 Nichts.

- Stephanie (10/5): Uneingeschränkte Empfehlung für New York! - Sehr schönes Boutique Hotel in Midtown Manhattan. Sehr schöne, gemütliche Bar und ein Café in der Lobby, in der man entspannt sitzen und auch Kleinigkeiten essen kann und Frühstück bekommt, wer mag. Wir haben einmal dort gefrühstückt und auch das war sehr lecker. Hotelgäste bekommen den ganzen Tag Kaffee/ Tee gratis, zur Happy Hour auch ein Glas Wein. Die Lage ist super, die Anbindung vom/zum JFK perfekt, über Penn Station, Subway direkt um die Ecke, aber auch Bars, Restaurants, Cafés direkt vor der Tür. Das Personal ist äußerst freundlich und hilfsbereit, die Zimmer sauber und modern eingerichtet. Uns hat es wirklich sehr gut gefallen. Wir waren als Familie mit drei erwachsenen Kindern 5 Tage ( wir hatten ein DZ und ein Dreibettzimmer) dort und würden es sofort wieder buchen. Ja, die Zimmer sind klein und es gibt kaum Ablagefläche, aber es ist halt NY und in den meisten Hotels wohl so. Uns hat es nicht gestört, dafür waren die Zimmer mit viel Liebe, modern und stylisch eingerichtet. Holzfußboden, Regendusche mit ordentlich Druck und es gab hochwertige Pflegeprodukte dazu. Es gibt keine Kaffeemaschine auf dem Zimmer, also morgens in der Lobby den Kaffee holen und den ersten Kaffee/ Tee im Bett genießen.

Loved the theming of rooms and got an upgrade after some issues with the heating the first night. Would recommend choosing the Superior King for more space. Free morning coffee is a nice detail, but breakfast would have been better :) Hotel lacks a bit of atmosphere due so the building being "small but long" limits space in reception / common areas. Rooms and location is good though.

I left my laptop behind, which is always so nerve-racking (I know, because it has happened to me more than once), and Kaylin took care of everything for me. Packed it up. Made sure it was picked up. Really made me feel like she cared. She was amazing. Great hotel. Exceptional staff. Thank you, Kaylin.

- Kirstenld (8/5): A cozy, beautifully decorated place to stay in the heart of Chelsea. - The overall decor and feeling of the hotel was a great vibe and very cozy. The breakfasts were delicious and the food downstairs in the restaurant was overall fantastic. We had many meals there. I appreciated where there was thoughtfulness at the hotel to highlight artisan made and local artists. The staff was always kind and helpful. There wasn't a private place to hang out. All the public spaces were open...nothing but one small seating section of the main lobby for hotel guests only. Many people not staying at the hotel came there for the coffee shop and bar - which are both great. During the day, the rooftop area was available but it felt like a club/bar that was closed. We didn't feel like we could hang out there - it looked like a place for only private events and not set up for guests during the day. It would be nice if that was more inviting or open for hotel guests and not just evening events. Also, my room was really small and not great for two people. There was very little space for our suitcases and limited hanging space. I think the more affordable rooms are best for only one person. I would suggest upgrading to a larger room for two people. I was surprised they used a brand that was not natural or ethical for the toiletries. It was a trendy brand, but not a clean or sustainable brand at all.

The early check-in option and free delicious coffee were huge perks. The room, view, bed, and bathroom all were very nice. Totally fine for a quick trip but still would have liked a convenient suitcase surface or stand. We had our things on the floor and one bench/chair. Obviously it’s a small room like all NYC hotels but maybe there’s a creative way to address this common complaint. I still liked this hotel enough to come back so it’s not a dealbreaker.

- thegze (2/5): Awful. Don't be fooled. NY has great hotels. This is not one of them - Awful. Easily the worst hotel experience in New York. Shall we count the ways? Your mattress is on plywood. No adequate closet. Just hangers on metal rods. Awful shower with no door. Sink vanity is about 14 inches. Staff are friendly but have never worked on a hotel before. They have no idea what they're doing. NY has great hotels. This is not one of them

- Jessica (10/5): An awesome hidden gem in the Big Apple!! - Absolutely outstanding hotel!! This place is a hidden gem and was a joy to discover. It is close to two subway lines, has lots of restaurants, a coffee shop, and shopping within walking distance. The rooms are lovely, with comfortable beds and really cool lighting. Bonus: getting free coffee from the cafe in the lobby every morning! The staff were friendly and helpful, and we had an outstanding stay here!! There was nothing we didn't like about this hotel. It was a great place to stay at and we look forward to staying there again the next time we travel to NY!

- Lize (9/5): Le séjour à l'hôtel a contribué à rendre votre séjour à New York encore plus mémorable. - Nous avons été accueillies avec une bouteille de champagne et un petit mot de bienvenue. Nous pouvions demander au personnel du café ou de l’accueil de nous remplir nos gourdes d’eau. Le personnel était très sympathique, toutes nos demandes ont été adressées avec professionnalisme. Le rooftop est très agréable, tout comme le cadre de l’hôtel de manière générale. Les produits de salle de bain ont été changés avant même d’être finis. Cela fait du gâchis s’ils ne sont pas utilisés dans un autre circuit.

- LeelooKelly (10/5): Brilliant Lil Gem of a Hotel in NoMad - Absolutely LOVE LOVE this place! Such a convenient location. Just a couple of blocks from the train station and walkable to Times Square etc. Wonderful and accommodating staff. Their cute coffee bar had free coffee, tea and hot chocolate for guests. My room was absolutely gorgeous-simple and comfortable. I slept like a rock. Bathrooms have MALIN + GOETZ toiletries. I did not get a chance to go to the rooftop bar but I bet that is gorgeous too. The neighborhood felt safe and there are plenty of places to eat and get breakfast in the area but the hotel also has options as well. I really hope I get a chance to visit NYC again and I would most likely stay here if I did.

La chambre correspond aux photos et à la description. Je souligne uniquement qu'il y a aucun espace de rangement, mis à part 2 tiroir sous le lit. Certaines personnes pourraient se sentir à l'étroit dans une chambre standard. Rien du tout. Si je devais dire quelque chose de négatif, ça serait uniquement le manque d'espace de rangements. Mais ce n'est qu'un détail selon moi.

Its staff were so helpful with any of our requests and were always available, whatever the time. MADE was a cool, quirky hotel that we really enjoyed, and the little extra’s were suck a great touch!
