Same with the restaurant. Wasn’t possible to turn off the light in the room due to a faulty light switch so had to cut power thru the fuse cabinet.

The coordination from security alerting the front desk to assist with my luggage from my car. Such a wonderful check in and check out. The food was amazing, the room was so nice, the hotel is just beautiful. I called to confirm about the age limit as Booking.com indicated that there was a age restriction for kids. The person at reception confirmed that no kids below 12 are allowed because the hotel is not suitable for kids safety. He said the hotel is sloppy. At the gate there was also a signage to this effect. Shocking in the morning at breakfast there was a child aged around 6 years old. When I asked at reception during my check out on the matter. I was told that during festive season children are accommodated. I then informed them that, it was false because I had called before finalizing my booking and I was told by an employee at reception that children below the age of 12 are not allowed therefore I did not come with my son who is 8 years old. Very disappointing, why the inconsistency in their application of the rules for some customers.

• ELOUGA (8/5): i will come back again especially in summer, to enjoy the hotel facilities and the spa - I like the location and the food from the snack menu, the shower was big and spacious. The perfume used in the room was too strong and not suitable for someone with sinus issues. I would suggest that housekeeping reduce the amount they use. Upon arrival, I wanted to relax in my room, but the strong fragrance gave me an instant headache and made it difficult to breathe. I had to sit by the pool to feel better. This was after calling reception to ask if there was any way to reduce the smell, as I thought it might be coming from something plugged in. they can improve on the breakfast menu, dinner was ok, definitely not value for money.
