• Ziqiang (8/5): - Great location, spacious room, includes a balcony, and is clean. Although the apartment building has a "No Smoking" policy, people still smoke; the smell drifts in through the windows but is slow to dissipate. Staying inside for too long gives me a headache, so I often have to leave the hallway door open to air out the room.

• Aiste (9/5): - The room was spacious, with a comfortable bed and pillows. There is also a washing machine available on each floor. The hotel feels more like a dormitory than a hotel. It has around eight floors with roughly 20 rooms on each, which makes it feel quite crowded. The layout is unusual — when you step out of the room (I stayed on the 8th floor), you can see all the floors below, down to the parking area. I believe the sound insulation is poor, as neighbors knocked on the wall late in the evening while we were just watching TV and talking at a normal volume. There are also no common areas where you can sit and relax.

• Sanja (9/5): Nice studio in Din Daeng - Nice studio in Din Daeng, near Central Rama 9 shopping mall. I booked it a bit nervously, thinking it may be too far out there, but I was booking last minute and Bangkok last minute the week of the New Year was sold out and overpriced. I never stayed in this part of the city before, but I did my research, saw the nearby subway stop, read the good reviews and figured it cannot be too bad. It turned out better than i expected! Studio was quite large and had absolutely everything needed, it was clean, with great WiFi and AC and even a shared washing machine in the corridor. It also turned out to be quite a lively area, so there was plenty to explore and I am happy that I stayed there. Also, great price/quality ratio! Grab/Bolt drivers had some trouble finding the address, but that has nothing to do with the aparthotel - it turns out that a property 2 doors down was under reconstruction and they somehow completely closed the small street that the Google Maps would point to. I would advise everyone to actually walk out of the lobby towards the main street/7-11 and call Grab/Bolt from there, to avoid confusion on both parts, especially when you just arrive.

• Melanie (10/5): - Auch wenn es das Gebäude von Aussen nicht erwarten liess, sind die Zimmer, oder besser die Studios sehr schön! Vom kleinen Balkon hat man eine tolle Sicht auf die Skyline. Die Küche ist mit Teller, Gläser, Tassen, Besteck, Mikrowelle, Kühlschrank und Wasserkocher ausgestattet - mehr aber auch nicht. Die Zimmerreinigung war stets sehr sauber und effizient! Weiter schätzten wir den kostenlosen Tuktuk Service zur MRT und die Möglichkeit, Waschmaschine (30 Baht) und Trochner (50 baht) zu nutzen. Die Gegend mit vielen Foodständen, der Central Rama Mal und den wenigen Touristen hat uns auch sehr begeistert. Wir kommen sicher wieder! Die Matratze war etwas unbequem.

The electric tuk-tuk service from the hotel to the metro station was convenient, and the quietness of the area, coupled with the availability of nearby shops around the clock, added to our comfort.

• Aldrin (10/5): Definitely a value for money. - Check-im was smooth even if we arrived at 1:00 am due to delayed flight. The room was spacious and clean. The owner is also very kind and accommodating. Location is in a quiet area as it's in a commercial-residential area but still a few minutes walk to a 7-11 store and nice small restaurants nearby, so you don't have to go far to get a taste of good Thai food. There's also a tuktuk service to the MRT station and mall. Every floor also has laundry good facilities which is good for those staying long, as well as a water refilling station at the parking area, and a small gym. Bookworms will also be happy to stay as they have a collection of nice books that are available at the reception area. Internet is also fast. If you're looking for value for money, definitely this is one of the best choices to stay in Bangkok. Tuktuk service is only until 5 pm, hope it can be extended to maybe 7 pm.

• Piercin (10/5): A very great location and amazing value! - Our stay here was great! It’s in an amazing location many street food and restaurant options near by and only about a 10-15 minute walk to the MRT, Food vendors and the Malls. We came back to a nice clean room everyday and it was very spacious felt like a home. The service was great and very fast we had a very amazing time here! Only very minor inconveniences, the TV didn’t have a place to plug in but we weren’t very bothered since we wouldn’t have used it much anyways, the dryer left our clothes still pretty damp which kinda sucked but we had to just hang dry it before we packed it back up, the bed was a bit hard but not a big issue.

Het personeel is vriendelijk, behulpzaam en maakt je verblijf aangenaam. Laundry service is ook aanwezig. Douche is lekker warm en fijne airco. Tv heeft netflix, youtube. No halal food places close by. I had to travel into Sukhumvit 5 or Nana to get food, which is a bit pricier than normal Thai or Chinese options.

• Yaşar (8/5): Ok - This is my second time staying at this place. I think the facilities are good for the price. The room is spacious. It offers the basic things you need. It is also nice to have access to a washing machine or drinks at the entrance in the apartment complex. Only the second time I noticed that the cleanliness of the room was a bit behind. It did not smell good and needed some airing. There was also a lot of dust. I remember it was better a year ago in this regard. The pillows on the bed are also very soft and there are only two.

The bed was good the room was clean. Clothes washing facility available. Free transport available to main street to access train station and major shopping strip. Overall good and i have no hesitation in recommending this place for the price, it is great value for money. I have nothing negative to say only that key cards instead of keys would be an improvement but not the end of the world. I will stay again when i return.

Sitara is maintained better and with greater attention to details than most places I've seen in Bangkok in the same price range. • Clinton (10/5): Second time stay - This was my second stay at Sitara. I like it - very comfortable; great staff; and basically everything I needed for a medium-term stay.
• The (9/5): Great stay! :D - The staff was great! They were always very nice, helpful, & professional :D It was easy to check-in & any time we needed anything, the staff was right on top of it. Also, I was injured just before arriving and I asked if they could put a mattress topper on the bed to make it softer and they accommodated my needs right away! :D The daily housekeeping was a huge bonus too! Highly recommend! :D I guess I would have liked a little bit of a better bathroom setup. The toilet was closer to the shower than I liked & the shower nozzle kept falling so it made it difficult to get clean. But these are really just personal preference. Other than that, this place is a great find :)

The hotel doesn't really have facilities like pool or gym. Not sure why the reviews are so good. One weird thing is the kitchen sink is outside on the balcony.

Other guests were complaining of the same bites, and now that we’ve left we have to worry about bringing them home in our luggage and on our clothes.

They provide daily housekeeping throughout your stay, which goes above and beyond what you’d expect from a 3-star hotel. It’s also truly affordable, especially in such a commercial area. Accessible to malls, convenience stores, eateries, tourist spots! The accommodation is about a 15-minute walk from the Phra Ram 9 metro station, which might feel a bit far for some. However, there are convenient alternatives such as TukTuk, taxis, Uber, or local ride-hailing services to reach the location. Personally, I’m accustomed to walking, so it wasn’t an issue for me. That said, it might be considered a bit distant from the metro for others.

Luckily I was on my own and could work around it, but it would have been uncomfortable for a couple. The shower head could do with relacing as well. Otherwise I can highly recommend this place.

• Kathryn (10/5): After looking at what felt like HUNDREDS of places in stay in BKK - this truly a hidden gem! - Everything at Sitara was fantastic largely due to the helpful and friendly staff. The room is great - much bigger than expected and indeed it was a very comfortable stay for a few days but it would be fine for a long term basis too. The bed was just a little firmer for my preference but we slept well.

• Hassan (10/5): Make it 1st choice if you visit Bangkok - The building and The cleanliness of the facility, rooms and bathrooms, the staff are very cooperative and have a cheerful face, the hotel management is very keen on the comfort of the guests to the point that there was a disturbing guest late at night and he was dealt with professionally and an apology was made to all the guests, the apartment exceeded my expectation, I try many 5 star hotel and didn't exceeded my expectations. I am not fussy about cleanliness as a solo traveller but the building was constantly being cleaned by the large number of staff, if you like things clean this is the place Tea bags instead of coffee in the room would be nice, I don’t drink coffee. I am sure if I had asked this would have been arranged.

Some people stay here for many months. The room is very clean. I met the owner and he is very kind. It’s a large apartment building. They have balconies and half-kitchen. Good value. Large.

• Sajil (9/5): Perfecto!! - I truly enjoyed my stay at Sitara. The staff and Mr. Sunil were terrific, as he helped me with my Early Check-In request. The rooms were clean and spacious, making my stay very comfortable. I would recommend Sitara to others. Numerous restaurants and coffee shops are nearby, adding to the convenience. Although the hotel doesn't have its swimming pool, there is one just a 5-minute walk away, which was great. Nothing.
• Eva (10/5): Great value for money - We had a great stay at the Sitara Place. The apartment was clean, specious and quiet. The view from the balcony was just amazing!! The staff was very friendly as well. We had everything we needed, and extended our stay because it was a great value for money. The location is good, 7 eleven just across the road and plenty of restaurants around. The metro station and shopping centres are 10-15 mins walk. We would definitely stay there again even for a longer time. Thank you.
