Outside can be busy as they set up a small market in the mornings and dismantled in the afternoon. They are also responsive and gave us in-person instructions getting in and out of the building. There is a doorman at certain times of the day. Location is convenient since its close to the train station and airport. Thank you, we had a comfortable stay!
- Valerie (8/5): - The room was superior! Room was very clean, bed was comfortable and tv had streaming available. Carmen was very helpful. Convenient location to bus and train (Napoli Centrale). Only thing that was a bit negative is that I chose il Divino specifically bc it said there was airport transfer, and it wasn't made clear on the website that this had to be pre-arranged. We chose to take the bus which was easy to get to as opposed to paying way more for a taxi. Also, it should be noted that I wouldn’t be totally comfortable walking in the immediate neighborhood at night.

Unfortunately, its not in a great neighborhood, but that was easily looked over as we were only here a night to fly out the next morning. The staff were amazing and sent us to a delicious pizza place within walking distance. I would definitely stay here again!

Property was close to Centrale train station where you can get anywhere. The hotel is not the easiest to find, but is in a very safe place. The surrounding area is very sketchy, but all was good. The location is super central with easy access to the metro and not far from the airport at all! Highly recommend and look forward to coming back whenever in Napoli again! - Daniela (10/5): - This was our 2nd time in the month of August staying here. It is only a short walk to the train station, so it was convenient for our travels along the Amalfi Coast. Check-in is a challenge because it is not your typical hotel where there is always someone at the front desk. This is shown online as a hotel, but the sign out front says Il Divino “ bed & breakfast”, so this way they get around having someone at the desk check you in. The check-in person is Sophia, who lives elsewhere in Naples, so you need to make sure you communicate constantly with her about your arrival time by train or plane, and she will come and meet you at the door to let you in. Because the door to get in is ALWAYS locked! This is a good thing because the place is very private and secure. So, we texted regularly with Sophia and all went well. If she can’t be there at your time of arrival, she will give you a code to get in. Then there is an elevator up to your room and everything is wonderful! You enter a lovely, immaculate clean and spacious room, with air conditioning and fantastic shower with huge, soft towels, and even a couple of pairs of slippers to wear, also bath gels that smell so nice! We love this place and will be back again. There are even free vouchers for breakfast at the cafe’ across the street. Thank you again to Sophia for arranging our arrival again. She is the sweetest, kindest, person..and we hope she is there the next time we come to Naples!

- Verified traveler (10/5): Great modern room just steps from Napoli Centrale - The location was ideal for coming from the train station as it is only 4 minutes walk down the same street. A key card is needed to access the courtyard from the street, the building’s main door, the Il Divino entrance and then our room. We felt it was both safe and secure and the building has a lift so you don’t have to carry your suitcases up multiple stairs. The room & it’s bathroom were beautiful, modern & very clean! We loved our room here. We were welcomed by our host and had a great stay! Expect to walk a bit more to some of the more touristy areas but nothing extraordinary!

A nice addition were the complimentary slippers found in the bathroom. However, check-in was a nightmare after having travelled almost 14 hours to get there.. bad communication. The check in person was supposed to be at reception waiting for us. The place was difficult enough to find and we got there only to find the entrance door locked and nobody there to let us in. Lucky that a young couple were returning to their room and let us in and were kind enough to call the person in charge to let her know we had arrived. Other than that, it was a nice quiet place to stay,

I truly cannot understand how this place is as highly rated as it is… This hotel is completely misleading, as it’s actually a bed and breakfast…without even really having a breakfast. You get a voucher for a place ACROSS THE STREET where you get 1 mediocre baked good and 1 coffee. Nothing else. Both days we were there, the comforter was stained. Not sure with what. Hotel staff was kind, but the system is very clearly not run well. She had to take a picture of our passports rather than inputting the data into a system, which I didn’t love. The area itself is incredibly dirty and sketchy. You can’t walk anywhere without feeling unsafe or anxious, so you end up spending a ton on taxis which already don’t want to pick you up because it’s a short/cheap fair. Naples is definitely a place to spend extra and get a nice hotel in a nice area, and that is not this. While the interior was clean and updated of the specific “hotel” areas, it’s in a building with a really tiny door and super sketchy tiny lift that really cannot accommodate luggage or multiple people. We ended up just walking up and down the 3 flights of stairs with our bags because the lift was so sketchy. Again, spend the extra and stay somewhere better.

This was advertised as a hotel but is definitely not a hotel! It was more like abnb which is fine if you know that’s what you are paying for but is false advertising. Surrounding area did not seem safe to walk back from dinner in the dark. Staff was very friendly and helpful once she arrived. Would definitely never choose to stay there again.

- Verified traveler (10/5): Amazing stay at il Divino - My boyfriend and I stayed at il Divino before our flight from Naples. The B&B was wonderful and the room was extremely spacious, clean, and well designed. The property was very safe and secure and located conveniently to Naples Centrale train station as well as the airport. The host was incredibly lovely and accommodating and made sure we had everything we needed when checking in. Would absolutely recommend as a place to stay in Naples!

- Angie (10/5): - Sofia, our hostess was so attentive and showed us how everything worked to get into the building and our room. The place has a security guard during the day. The building also has security pass for the outer door into the complex after hours and again at the Il Divino entrance. It also has an elevator to your floor…a real bonus in Italy! It is only an eight minute walk from the train and/or the bus station. We are in our 70s and it was an easy walk.
- Amanda (8/5): - The overall stay was perfectly fine. The area of Naples itself is a little rough, but once you’re inside the hotel, you feel very safe and everything is comfortable. You get a pastry and coffee from the cafe across the street which was super nice and quick to grab on our way to the airport the following morning! Sophia was the one who handled everything for our booking. She made sure to call me the day before and let me know that she would have to come outside to meet us and show us inside. This is a great option if you need a nice place to relax in between travel days. They even send you to a delicious local pizza place. Self checkout in the morning was super easy. We just left our room key on the desk inside the room and were on our way.

The hotel is in a dedicated portion of a larger residential building with an exterior entrance. Sophia checked with us a day ahead, then met us at the door to ensure we could get in and had everything we needed. Breakfast is pastry and coffee at a cafe across the street. We sat down for table service before catching a train to our next stop. The pastries were warm and the coffee was perfect. The area near the train terminal is gritty and urban, typical of a large city, but we didn't have any concerns.The service was excellent and we would happily stay again. A great value, too. - Francis (6/5): - The location of the property was terrible. The only feature is it was close to the Central station. There were no facilities in the property for making a cup of coffee or any facilities one would expect for the price we paid. The breakfast was in an establishment across the road and was limited to 1 drink and 1 item of food. Very poor. Sofia who managed the property was very nice and professional and allowed us to keep our bags till we were ready to leave. The room was comfortable and clean as was the bathroom.

- Verified traveler (10/5): Il Divino - Our stay was excellent. Il Divino is a modern hotel in an older building. Very safe. Very clean. The elevator was a bit small but it was not a problem. The room had beautiful design and light. Everyone from the security guard to our contact in reception was kind and gracious and helpful. It's near the train station. Convenient and easy to walk with luggage.

Sophie who handled our check in was precious and truly cared about us having a great experience! Breakfast was fantastic! Loved the proximity to the train station. - Eduardo (8/5): - We got there at night, so for a person that doesn’t the location it looks run down and dirty (outside), but in the morning the street becomes alive. The room inside was great as well the service. We were also able to find a pizzaria, with great pizza, few streets away that closes at midnight. Although was late at night and the streets were empty, we felt safe.

- Anthony (10/5): Amazing rooms. - The bad bit. The area is not great, lots of litter and graffiti, there are very few nice restaurants and the actual building looks awful. At night it becomes an African ghetto. However once you are through the front door the B&B is amazing, rooms are fantastic, literally faultless. Sophia was brilliant on all communication and help us on every occasion. If you just want a base to travel around the area (Pompei, Sorrento, Capri) this is just a short walk from the train station, this is perfect.
- L (10/5): - The hotel is clean and nice, nothing to complain about. It is very close to the train station but this is what we needed. Staff is very friendly, although we had a little hiccup at the check in. You cannot get into the hotel unless someone meets you by the entrance, and we had to wait for some time and call the staff before we were let it. They provided recommendation for a very good pizza place and we enjoyed the taste of Napoli.

We also like the aera because it was very near the central station and at walking distance of a lot of Naples attractions. If we come back to Naples, we will stay again here. I recommand this hotel. I'm only here for one day so I wasn't bothered by the street or noise. If you are coming to Naples and just want a super clean hotel that is peaceful and safe this is the place!

- Melisa (10/5): - Sophia and Luigi are the best! Via Whatsapp, they reached out to confirm our travel/arrival times and met us at the entrance of Il Divino. Sophia was kind, professional, and thorough when explaining how to get in and out, about the area, and even sent us information about local attractions. She gave us a wonderful recommendation to Gaetano Adamo—best pizza we had in Italy! The room was beautiful and clean. The bed was firm, but not hard. There was a mini fridge/bar for convenience (drinks and snacks you have to pay for) and a kettle with a variety of teas. The bathroom was HUGE with lots of towels, shampoo and mini perfume/cologne. The vouchers for the cafe across the street were a lovely treat—the cafe was welcoming and took the vouchers without hesitation. We had cafe au lait with croissants—very good. Check out was a breeze, just leave card inside the room. There are some reviews about this area—it is Naples! It is like any other big city. Be aware of your surroundings and you will be fine. We were two women travelling and never felt unsafe—just avoid the train station itself at night. Don’t hesitate on booking this amazing hotel/B & B!

Mattress was probably one of the hardest I’ve ever experienced. The person that checked us in was super nice, thorough and polite. The neighborhood could not be sketchier. It is really dangerous and 3 minutes walk from the train station ‘crowd’. If you only plan to move to and from the property via taxi (as we did) you will be just fine. If you plan to walk, the area around Il Divino is simply dangerous. Something to consider.

It was a pleasure to interact with the manager and reception staff. They were proactive in reaching out to ensure a smooth check in at the hotel, confirming our arrival time and staying up to date via WhatsApp. They guided us well about the neighborhood and dining options around. The breakfast was included and at a coffee/ pastry shop across the street. Had the best cappuccino there.

She explained everything what we need to know and expect at the hotel. The most important thing that we have experience is the staff is very kind enough to let my wife know that they found her necklace and they were able to facilitate to ship it to the US where we live. That gesture is impeccable, and it is one of a kind trait of a person that they are. it should be rewarded with salary promotion to appreciate the good deeds that they did to their customer. The hotel is highly recommended. Breakfast is excellent and the location is strategic to all the things that a travelers needs like grocery store, 10 minutes walk to a n array of restaurants and bakery. very memorable experience we had.
