Fitnessraum ist für die Hotelgröße sehr klein. Frühstück war leider nicht so toll - Qualität könnte besser sein und leider war auch alles immer leer. Die Betten im Twin Room waren sehr sehr schmal. Preis war dafür echt hoch.

Unfortunately there is construction work next to the property, so there is a lot of noise from 7am. This was especially a problem on the first night when we arrived at 1am and needed to be able to sleep in!

The dryer function on the rooms washer/dryer wasn’t functioning. Normally don’t review but this place had too many things not to. All was told to front desk who appeared to feel helpless but were kind. The location was great.

The breakfast was OK, but not much variety and not very appetizing. We liked having a walk-in shower and the towels were nice a fluffy. We have started packing our own bar soap and shampoo, because most have hotels have gone to the pump bottles. Rarely do they work.

The hardware was good: it was spacious with good lighting and a good view of the bridge. Quality of food is very good and good value. The service was excellent. We had dinner there and were serviced by we think the manager. He was attentive and friendly. Overall a great little restaurant. Highly recommended. All Locke hotels share one major deficiency: poor indoor lighting. Not sure what the designer was trying to accomplish, but you cannot read a book in the room for sure. They like to use spot lights which leaves large area of the room dark. The air in the corridor is stale, feels like it has not been ventilated in a long time. No luggage racks in the room. Unfriendly to old people with knee problems as they have to squat to get stuff from the luggage.

Only a couple of rooms have this view and it was worth the extra money we paid for a deluxe queen suite. Our only disappointment was the buffet breakfast. It was adequate but not exceptional, which is reflected in our 9 rating. We would definitely stay here again. See above - the breakfast buffet was a bit disappointing.

The furniture could have been placed differently so that you could watch the television either from the bed or the couch. There was no table and chairs to allow you to eat. We were not able to figure out how to use the oven.

• Kristine (9/5): It was really good. - The location was really amazing, excellent restaurants near by and we were able to walk to all the sites on our list. The bed was pretty hard and the suite was well used. Minor scuffs and stains. The kitchenette had no utensils but staff was amazing and I’m sure would have provided them if I asked.
• 403katiew (6/5): Convenient and modern and everything you need - Really convenient location and zero noise from outside or other rooms. The room had everything you could need and overall was very clean. The sole problem and single reason for my low score relates to the bed. The lumpy pillows I could excuse, and whilst the mattress needs replacing was ok. The issue was the smell, I'm unsure if it was the pillow, bedding or mattress but it smelled extremely musty not unlike if you smacked a bag of mould which disturbed my sleep and made me feel very dirty. Aside from this it was excellent in every other way.

• Matthew (9/5): Quiet, well-located and friendly hotel right in the heart of Dublin, would stay again. - Fabulous location, quiet and secure, nice studio style apartment, spacious room, nice bathroom and walk-in shower. The room had the basics for an extended stay provided in unit. The only downside at all was the learning curve in figuring out how everything in the room worked. We couldn't find a guide and the info channel on the hotel tv didn't tell us how to use the appliances or the energy saving lightswitches. Could be a non-issue for some, but did confuse us.
