• Daydream532701 (10/5): Sydney has a lot to offer. A by Adina hotel belongs to that offer. - A by Adina in Sydney makes a very good impression (despite some construction works vis a vis). It is modern inside surrounded by high skyscrapers which give you the feeling of being in the business centre of this great city. It is also close to the spectacular Sydney Opera Building, the Harbor and Sydney’s Old Town. The breakfast was fine too although it could be a bit teacher. In sum: a good place to start ones vacations!

• Lindy (7/5): we really enjoyed it, except for the noise - we liked the hotels position in the city, our 1 bed apartment design was very good and comfortable , the sky bar for an evening drink was lovely, breakfast was very good, staff were helpful. we found the neighbouring construction noise very disappointing. we’d like to return to the hotel, but doubt we will do so for a long time because of the noise. the electronic curtain open and close function in the room was also frustrating. and the air con system was too noisy at night

• Lilian (9/5): Great central location for a visitor. - Close to harbour and transport. It was difficult to operate the microwave oven. The lift card system and room facilities were all a bit modern for an old timer.
• Fatima (8/5): Modern and stylish - The hotel location was excellent. My room was modern and comfortable- I loved the decor and the automatic blinds. Hotel staff were happy to store my bag after I checked out so I could continue exploring the city. There is a bar on level 22 which played extremely loud music until the early hours of the morning. Construction on Hunter Street started at 7 am on Saturday. Very noisy hotel so would not recommend if you’re a light sleeper.
• Dane (7/5): Good location and view, needs better bedsheets - Good location and view and lovely apartment. Was told I would receive complimentary wine and chocolates for my anniversary with partner and it was organised but on arrival there was nothing, and the bed sheets were quite uncomfortable
• Sheila (3/5): No relaxation, constant noise and disruption, unfriendly staff - Great central location, close to light rail platforms and train station Ongoing construction right outside the hotel which I was not informed about prior to booking or even upon arrival. The noise is extremely loud and continues all throughout the night. Was moved briefly to a lower level room but street noise is also very loud, thumping of the light rail tracks is non stop. Had to ask multiple times for something very simple like getting amenities sent to my room. Front desk staff are not very friendly or welcoming. However, a young gentleman who assisted me with my room change was the only exception. Due to construction there are street closures outside the hotel so had to walk in the rain to get to my airport transport pick up.

• Jarred (9/5): Modern and cozy in the heart of the CBD. - Excellent location; modern fit out; loved the lighting. Pool is a great addition and a nice chill spot above the CBD. Staff were very friendly. Lifts can be a little slow when it’s busy, but it didn’t detract from the experience.

• Amie (8/5): Besides the few mishaps, the room was a great aesthetic and great location. Staff were wonderful. - The location was perfect! What we didn’t know until we got there is that the pool is right next to the reception area so feels a little unsettling knowing people can watch you swim. Our first room we had issues with the curtains, blinds and lights working on its own without us touching the controls. The next room we were assigned, the sink barely drained but we just put up with it. Then we were charged for a tote bag we thought was complimentary. They should have made this more known.

• Lillian Marie (5/5): - The place was very nice and in a perfect place. However...... no one told us they were working on the area we were staying. Major construction! We were not able to drive up to the hotel or be picked up at the hotel which means we had to drag luggage to the apartment from where the uber dropped us off and had to drag luggage back down the street to be picked up when we left. This was a problem since we had three of us with canes. I think the facility should have let us know about the construction. They did stop jack hammering around 8 the first night but I would like them to consider a credit or a portion of our money refunded.

Room was well designed from automated curtains upon entering the room, functional kitchenette and laundry, comfortable sitting / TV area that could be closed off from bedroom. Light king also thoughtfully designed with ambient options to functional. Dining was above standard with attentive staff, good quality food and high end decor. We were also impressed with a complementary bottle of champagne for our wedding anniversary. Reception staff could have been more friendly and accommodating

• Elizabeth (7/5): Great accommodation but severely affected by noisy surroundings - The property was very comfortable,beautifully presented and in a convenient location. The breakfast was also very good. Disappointing the noise was a big problem. The underground railway works were annoying happening between 7:30am -5:00pm every day.as we went out we could tolerate it. The bigger problem was the very loud music from the hotel/club downstairs which made falling asleep very difficult.Music went through until midnight.

The karaoke bar on the street downstairs went on to at least 2 am and could be clearly heard from our room. So if you dont mind going to sleep with 4 different renditions of the same song on repeat, then this is the hotel for you. Plus the beeping noise all night long. Turned out to be the dish washer that wasnt closed properly.

The location is excellent catching the train from the airport to Wynyard station across the road and also right on the light rail. • caitline414 (8/5): Amazing location, fantastic staff. - Stayed for a weekend trip with my Mum - the location was great, everyone we dealt with was so friendly and kind! They were so accomodating that we ended up in a twin bed set up in a room that isn't usually a twin bed, which made for some confusion with the second light/room controls, but they fixed this for us while we were out the first day. I also found the sky lobby a really unique touch here. Very quiet, despite construction next door, we had great sleeps. The rooms are so open and welcoming. One issue where there was an evening when only one elevator was working, which can obviously happen anywhere, but there was no way to know this was what had happened until you eventually got down to the ground floor.

• Gemma (10/5): We stayed in one bed apartment and the block out blinds from a touch of a button and the quality of the was unbelievable - Location could not have been better for us doing the Sydney half marathon. Lots of amazing bars and restaurants just around the corner. Train also. And most sites were a 10-15 walk away. Will definitely stay again Nothing
• Wilmien (9/5): Highly recommend staying at A by Adina. Great location, stylish and modern, comfortable, great lighting. - Really loved the dark and moody vibe, it was very relaxing. The apartment I stayed in had everything you needed, it was clean, comfortable and very stylish and modern. The bed pillows are really high profile and caused a stiff neck, then I ordered a memory foam pillow which wasn’t much better either. Ended up using one of the decorative pillows! The entrance to A by Adina is really hard to find too.

• Nicole (8/5): Fantastic - we will definitely stay there again. - A by Adina is based in a fantastic location in the Sydney CBD. A very easy walk to the main shopping hub and also to the harbour and Opera House. The hotel is modern and well maintained. It was a little noisy at night (possibly a bar nearby?) and at the moment there is a lot of construction happening around the building.
• Conor (8/5): Would probably stay here again, it was very comfortable and great location. - The beds were extremely comfortable and the pillows of excellent quantity. Straight across the road from Wynyard Station it was convenient for everything. It was dark - they have gone for a masculine look but it was too dark. Everything was nice, but in small rooms, too much darkness.

• Lucinda (5/5): Good location comfortable bed. - Location and having separate rooms Tv didn’t work in the main bedroom and sliding door didn’t work correctly to shut the door to bathroom.
• Nicholas (10/5): Great location for getting around, great bedding and great food - The location is very convenient, although I'm not sure I like going on holidays and venturing out into a swarm of office staff on their lunch break. The bedding was very comfortable and I slept really well every night (though I do use ear plugs, which I think you probably need because there is a baseline level of noise). The food was incredible - the wagyu burger was a real stand-out. The staff were helpful and friendly. My only complaint is that the living area doesn't seem to work. I was in the apartment and there was a long couch with a heavy table. I didn't feel like I had somewhere comfortable to sit and watch tv. It just felt like the couch was awkwardly shaped and uncomfortable and the table was a weird shape, cumbersome to move and too small. I would have preferred a smaller, more comfortable couch facing the tv, and maybe a dedicated table and chair against a wall for using a laptop

• Jennifer (6/5): They got a person to come and look at the control panel for the blinds and air con but he couldn’t fix it. They finally - Location and nice room and lovely cocktail and breakfast area Automatic blinds didn’t work and the air conditioner stayed on 18 Had to ask four times for a extra blanket and pillow and promised it would be there in five minutes but didn’t come.thankfully we saw a lovely lady on the 22nd floor reception and she followed it up straight away. She even came over to ask if we had received the blankets. Great service from her
• Simon (8/5): - The location is close to all the city's attractions with excellent transport links. The property is very secure with lift access limited to key holders. The rooms facilities were very good and everything worked well. The food at breakfast was not up to the standard of the accommodation.
• Elizabeth (9/5): Great for a stay when going to the ballet - Location from Wynyard and B1 bus perfect for a city stay. Private room. Very clean modern and neat.

• Sarah (9/5): A little luxury and a lot of convenience. - Really lovely breakfast, great location, quiet room, friendly & helpful staff. The lower rooms can be a little noisy especially if you are facing towards Hunter/George Streets, especially if The Ivy has a big night!

• Heather (8/5): Would stay here again - Very comfy bed with lovely soft sheets. Great central location. Slight mishap when we checked in. Went to our room and there were cleaners still cleaning. Had to go back to reception and get a new room.

• Laurence (9/5): Perfect location to enjoy Sydney - The one bedroom was the perfect size for my son and I. The view is beautiful from the room but also from the pool or the restaurant. I definitely enjoyed the style and decoration inside the whole hotel: dark and classy. Swimming in a heated pool was also lovely, even if it was a bit cold outside. That time we heard way more noises until late coming from a nightclub close by. I guess it depends which side your room is facing. That’s the price to pay I guess to be in such a good and central location.
