What makes it average: - Very noisy, from the hallway as well as from the outside and above (doors have gaps, windows aren’t insulated, you hear steps from above at 4 am - once you find ear plugs in the room, you know you got a problem and aren’t the first one having an issue) - some room layouts (not all are like this) make you stare at the door, no small hallway or any separation), giving it a very non-cozy feel - No proper desk / proper table, making it very hard in case you’ve to work or eat in-room dining (in-room dining was also a disappointment) Here you have it. 3/4, average, that’s all it is. Really wanted to like it, but the above makes it hard to.

The hotel itself is stunning, and we were pleasantly surprised with an upgrade! Our room was perfect. We enjoyed drinks in the lounge and a delicious dinner at La Marchande before heading to a concert. Everything about our experience was top-notch. We’ll definitely be back!

- MFT78 (6/5): Possibly my last stay - I’ve stayed at The Wall Street Hotel several times before and always enjoyed my experience, but unfortunately, my recent stay was very disappointing. From the outset, the staff were not as friendly or accommodating as I’ve come to expect, and I received mixed messages right from check-in. When I asked for memory foam pillows — which I’d had on previous visits — I was told they didn’t have any. No one made an effort to double-check or offer an alternative, which surprised me. Then, the next day, I asked again, and a different staff member immediately said, “Of course we have them,” and brought one up to my room. This just highlighted the lack of service consistency, which is unacceptable for a 5-star property. Throughout my stay, I also had to repeatedly call just to get basic items like tea bags. When I asked for a small amount of milk for tea, I was told I’d have to pay for it. At a 5-star hotel, this is frankly ridiculous. Most luxury hotels will happily send up a small carton of milk at no charge — it costs them next to nothing, but makes guests feel valued. Breakfast service started out fine — the food was decent, and the service was acceptable. I tipped generously the first two mornings because I always try to be fair and appreciative of good service. But on the third day, service was essentially non-existent. Our order was slow, muddled, and disorganized, and understandably, I chose not to tip that day. To my shock, when I checked out, I found that a tip had been added to my bill without my consent, even though I had signed and closed off the invoice. While they did eventually refund this, what bothered me most was that I repeatedly asked to speak with management — through multiple phone calls and a follow-up email — and no one ever returned my calls. For a hotel of this standard, that lack of accountability is unacceptable. Adding a gratuity after the fact feels dishonest, and ignoring a guest’s repeated attempts to discuss it is even worse. Overall, the service was slow, inconsistent, and unresponsive, which is such a shame because I previously really liked this hotel and have stayed many times before. Sadly, this experience has made me seriously reconsider returning.

My room was spacious, with the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept in, and the bathroom was spotless. Everything felt clean, modern, and welcoming. The staff were wonderful, so friendly and attentive, which really made the experience even better. The location couldn’t be more convenient, just a two-minute walk from Wall Street station and right in the heart of the Financial District with plenty of great dining options nearby. Overall, it was a 10/10 experience. I enjoyed every second of my stay and will definitely be returning on my next trip to New York. Couldn’t recommend this hotel more highly.

The rooms are lovely and the bathrooms exceptional, the staff are super friendly and helpful. In-room dining was delicious every time. For the price I don't think you can find a better hotel in FiDi.

We had our wedding here and we couldn't be any happier. Each space is beautifully appointed with lots of history and attention to detail. - JPJ1964 (10/5): A perfect stay in New York City - We chose the Wall Street Hotel for its location, away from the hustle and bustle of the main tourist areas. The hotel is in an excellent location within the financial district with easy access to FDR/South Street and the East river foreshore. The hotel is well presented with friendly and attentive staff. Food offerings were all excellent, as was the selection of drinks on offer. If you get the chance, a visit to the rooftop bar Tontine is a must, especially on a warm New York afternoon/evening. Our room, a dual aspect corner room was well appointed, with a fully stocked mini bar (rare these days). The bathroom featured the best power shower I have encountered for a long time, almost worth the price of the stay alone. Travelling around New York is definitely easiest by subway, and Wall Street station is only a couple of blocks from the hotel door with frequent fast connections up town.

You are right in the middle of the Financial hub of NYC, the history of NYC, and the resurgence of the Fi-Di neighborhood in general. - LauraM893 (10/5): Wonderful third visit! - This was my third time staying here and it was every bit as good as my previous two trips. The rooms are beautifully equipped and furnished, and it's clear that a lot of thought has gone into everything. For example, they have basic amenities available but there is a list of additional items availble on request with clear information on which will be charged. The shower is amazingly powerful, just what I needed to wake up or after a long day. I stayed in a Harbour View room this time but previously I have always opted for a Corner King. I think I'll go back to the Corner King next time as it has a bit more space. I could hear the people in the room next door quite easily this time as there was an interconnecting door. I didn't recall that from previous visits. Nothing major, just a minor quibble. This was my first time staying during summer so I took full advantage of the beautiful rooftop Bar Tontine. The food is great and happy hour cocktails were delicious! Lounge on Pearl is also lovely, very elegant and relaxing, with good service. I had an enjoyable breakfast at La Marchande but there are plenty of other places around for food. The transport connections are really wonderful and make getting around easy.

My one complaint is the duvet also asks as your sheet and it's just to warm even with the temp set to 68 degrees. I would love to kick it off and still have a sheet to cover up with because it's too cold without anything. Over all it's a great location, a lovely hotel and again, staff is terrific.

The hotel room was very well equipped and all of the finer details, that are often overlooked, were delivered upon. The room was also immaculately cleaned each day. I used the room and laundry services and wasn’t disappointed. I eat at the restaurant on one evening which I enjoyed. Food is rather expensive.

The Wall Street Hotel however manages to set the scene that transports you to an elegantly designed bedroom that you want to live in. Whether it’s the dreamy and comfortable expansive bed, the shower large enough for two or a relaxing soak in the slipper bath together with the all important relaxing sofa after a busy day sightseeing. Also has a great bar with a buzzy atmosphere in the evenings. Husband leaves the research to me and I looked at dozens of hotels and decided that the madness of mid-town wouldn’t suit but somewhere with easy access to the subway, luxury without a crazy price tag and a little quieter suited us; this hotel ticked all the boxes. We booked room only but did have breakfast on one morning, the eggs Benedict were delicious but served lukewarm which was a shame, I am sure they would have replaced my order had I mentioned it but we had a packed day so I just ate it quickly! At this standard of hotel, that was a surprising’ drop of the ball’. The staff- The doormen-special mention to Akim ( the dream team 😊) Eddie and others, all so friendly and took time to spend a few minutes chatting. Front office, again all great; a warm welcome from the tall gentleman, also Kayla, Natalie, sorry didn’t catch all the staff names….special shout out to Oya who when we queried about tickets for Radio City Hall Ricky Gervais show just didn’t give us websites, she took the time to book it for us, checking we were ok with the seats etc …thank you. Location is great and ( as first time visitors to NYC] we felt very safe in the area. Restaurants within walking distance and 5 minutes or so walking to the 9/11 Memorial..get there just before 9am for less queuing! A friend said to me, who cares about the room, just somewhere to sleep, oh, but we care, trust me, having a great room to come back to is part of the whole holiday experience. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it, if as we are, you’re used to the service standards and luxury of hotels in the Far East, you’ll make the right decision by booking The Wall Street Hotel. - Donna (2/5): - I booked this hotel for my husband for a 1 night stay. At 1am someone came opened his door, walked in and asked if he wanted any water bottles for the room. He was asked to leave by my husband and the hotel staff member apologised, opened the door and left. When he complained the hotel reception apologized and said it was strange. Why is someone walking around the hotel at 1am restocking rooms and why don't they know which rooms are occupied? Completely unacceptable and I was staying here as a female or with children I would NOT feel safe being here.
- Grace_on_Holiday (10/5): A little gem in the Financial District - A calm and stylish hotel. Comfortable rooms with spacious (for New York) bathrooms. A small but functional hotel gym. Extra props for the Lululemon mirror workout. A la carte breakfast was delicious (shoutout to friendly Victor!) All in all a pleasant surprise and would stay again. Easy to get uptown with the express 1 or 2, station 5 min walk from the hotel.

The management and staff are friendly and very professional and very welcoming to a hotel that is very beautiful and well designed. It’s a very elegant and beautiful hotel. - S7553WJsk (2/5): Not the same anymore - I’ve been a guest of The Wall Street Hotel for a couple of years, traveling to NYC one or two times a month for business. For a long time, it truly felt like a home away from home. The team made every stay personal, they’d greet me by name, remember my preferences and always made me feel welcome. Lately though, things have gone downhill. Service is much less attentive and the energy and attention to detail that once set this hotel apart are just missing. I’ve noticed many of the familiar staff are no longer there, and it seems like there’s been a lot of turnover since new management came in last year. Whether that’s the cause or not, the change is obvious. Now, I often find myself in noisy or inconvenient rooms, or in front of the elevators, and have had issues like being placed next to construction renovation with no warning. Front desk service and room service feel slower and less coordinated. It’s been a really disappointing drop from what I’d come to expect. To be fair, there are still a few staff members who go above and beyond like Clinton and Britania, in particular, who still do their best to make me feel special, but overall, it just isn’t the same, and I’ll likely be looking elsewhere for my future trips.
- ericgM3384YE (10/5): Quiet, comfortable, clean oasis. - We did a search with 3 AI agents for a quiet, clean, renovated, reasonably sized bathroom, and south of 14th street. 2 of the 3 had this hotel in the results. And they were right! Very well managed property, extremely quiet, felt like new, every little detail taken care of, but with no excessive frills. Very comfortable bed, good sized room (for NYC) and corner king had lots of light. getting ready for a wedding in the large bathroom was great. Special feature: most amazing warm and strong steam shower we've ever had in a hotel. Great oasis to came back to after a day of walking around in NYC. Easy access to both East and West sides. Bonus: nice little jazz band playing on Thursday and Friday nights in cool ground level lounge.
- Morvarid (10/5): - Excellent hotel, best I’ve stayed in New York Great customer service , travelled with a 7months old baby Bianca at reception was super kind and helpful , accommodated us in a great room in than 10 min of arrival and everything got ready within 15min or so . Super efficient Would love to come back again

The staff were friendly and accommodating. The location is quiet considering how central it is. Great for ferry to Brooklyn, exploring Downtown, and connections uptown. I'd definitely stay again.

- Pablo (6/5): - First, staff isn’t friendly, welcoming and we had a few issues with the receptionist misinformation us. One of them told us that the restaurant was closed during lunch but we clearly saw people eating. After having asked the waiter, there was no closing whatsoever. Very annoying as we lost one hour of waiting for nothing and looked like she didn’t want us there, we told her earlier in the morning (7am) that we wanted to eat for lunch just before our flight. When asking for a cab to the airport, the same women, told us not to stress about timing, mentioning no traffic and so on, while having and international flight we actually almost missed it due to her carelessness to order a cab when we asked for it. Even the bellman told her to hurry. Secondly, issue with the hot water 2 times in a row very early in the morning. And then I saw a disturbing “booger” on my bathrobe when I came back in to my room late in the evening. Nevertheless, it was a pleasant stay, breakfast in bed was ok nothing crazy.. mocktails at the bar too.. too bad.

They even went across the street to another hotel to retrieve my son’s misreported Uber eats. I only gave 4 stars because the bathtub was leaking and maintenance had to come rendering the bathtub useless…was a bummer because it was nice!
