• Alan (10/5): - Miałem przyjemność zatrzymać się u pani Batiny w Dubrowniku i z pełnym przekonaniem mogę polecić to miejsce każdemu, kto szuka komfortowego noclegu w świetnej atmosferze. Pani Batina jest niezwykle miłą i pomocną osobą – już od samego wejścia wita gości z uśmiechem i często proponuje coś do picia, co sprawia, że od razu można poczuć się jak w domu. Jest bardzo rozmowna i serdeczna – chętnie opowiada o okolicy, a także interesuje się tym, jak minął dzień jej gości. To drobne gesty, które tworzą wyjątkowy klimat i sprawiają, że pobyt staje się jeszcze bardziej przyjemny. Pokoje są na bardzo wysokim poziomie – czyste, zadbane i komfortowo urządzone. Co ważne, standard zdecydowanie przewyższa cenę, która jest bardzo korzystna jak na warunki oferowane w Dubrowniku. Warto dodać, że pokoje znajdują się nieco wyżej na skarpie, co wiąże się z koniecznością pokonania kilku schodów. Jednak wysiłek ten zdecydowanie wynagradzają przepiękne widoki na panoramę Dubrownika. Dodatkowym atutem jest to, że pani Batina chętnie zaprasza gości na swój balkon, z którego można w pełni podziwiać te wyjątkowe widoki. Lokalizacja jest również dużym atutem – obiekt znajduje się w bardzo dogodnym miejscu, mniej więcej pomiędzy Lapad a Starym Miastem, co ułatwia zwiedzanie i dostęp do najważniejszych atrakcji. To idealne miejsce dla osób, które cenią sobie nie tylko wygodę, ale też ciepłą, domową atmosferę. Zdecydowanie chętnie wrócę tam ponownie.

• Halil (10/5): - There is a great view from the balcony. The host is wonderful and caring. She spoiled us with some treats and kindly kept our luggage on the day of checkout. Everything about the room was excellent. The only important thing to mention is that going down to the Old Town is easy, but climbing back up might require more energy. Uber is relatively cheap (9–10 euros from the Old Town), or you can take bus number 3, though it runs a bit infrequently in the evening.

Le hubiera puesto en el lado negativo, pero para nosotros es algo positivo, es un sitio muy silencioso con lo cual es muy bueno, pero también hay que ser muy silencioso. Las vistas desde el salón son increíbles, María, eres un encanto! La calle para acceder tiene escaleras, por lo que para una persona con dificultad de movilidad es complicado, en nuestro caso estuvo bien! Puedes pedir transporte desde arriba, a unos pocos escalones de la casa…

L’host è stata molto gentile fin dal primo giorno, ci ha dato indicazioni sulla città e su come muoverci. Ci è venuta in contro con alcune nostre esigenze senza esitazione. Molto educata e generosa. Consiglio vivamente questa struttura.

• Haylee (1/5): Do not recommend - Good shower, nice view from balcony. Very far walk from the old town with many steps. Property is in the last street on the hill. Not worth the money due to the location IMHO. Host followed us around and requested we turn off air conditioning and lights when leaving room however it was summer and we wanted to come back to a cool room after being out in the sun. Without air conditioning on, the room was hot and stuffy. No privacy, bedroom door did not lock for the inside and another guest opened our bedroom door at 1am which woke us up and caused us a big fright. Bath towels were old, hard and tattered. Kettle in room but no power cord long enough to reach PowerPoint socket. Very small room - not sufficient space for 2 suitcases.

• Natalia (9/5): Hôte très accueillante - Hôte très très très aimable. La chambre avec salle de bain est dans une maison, le balcon avec les belles vues sur la mer est dans le salon, qui est un espace commun. L'hôte a insisté pour qu'on l'utilise, comme le patio avec les vignes à l'arrière. La chambre correspond bien aux images et description, elle est un petit peu étroite, mais tout à fait correcte. Une serviette de taille moyenne en plus de celle du corps pour la douche serait un bonus apprécié :)
• Danielle (9/5): Wonderful host and clean rooms! - The host was fantastic. The room was very clean and the AC worked great! The only difficulty I had was carrying luggage up and down all of the stairs. As a solo traveler with very heavy luggage, it was quite the challenge to lug my suitcase up the steps (of which there were many) in the summer heat. Other than that, the host was amazing and the stay was lovely.

• Mathi (10/5): Super nice - Super friendly host, she let us check-in early and was very helpfull with recomendations for our stay. She even offered us coffe and cookies :) The place was as in the pictures, clean and nice view from the balcony. It was a lot of steps to get to/from Old Town, you can walk back but it is better to take an Uber. I recomend it.

• Jimena (10/5): Increíble hospedaje!!! - Increíble hospedaje, extraordinariamente limpio y bonito. La anfitriona un encanto!! Amable, servicial, detallista... como una mamá preocupada para que todo sea perfecto! Como nota importante, no es posible llegar a la propiedad caminando ya que se encuentra en un punto muy alto de la ciudad, si llevas maleta grande resultará sumamente pesado subir la cuesta, te recomiendo llegar en taxi. Sin embargo la bajada es sencilla, en 15 min estarás en el centro. La misma ubicación no permite que tenga espacio para estacionar autos pero por lo que pude observar, así serán la mayoría de los hospedajes en Croacia. Qué esto no sea motivo para que descartes quedarte aquí, créanme vale la pena!

The host Maria was excellent and made us very welcome- even allowing us to enjoy the fabulous views on the balcony. Room was very modern and very clean - comfortable bed, good shower and fridge in room. We loved our stay and already recommended it to our friends. Bakery and supermarket approx 10 minute walk.

• Paddy (7/5): Dubrovnik for a weekend. - Dubrovnik is a beautiful place. Well worth the visit. Lots to do and see.The host Maria was very helpful and pleasant. She lives on the premises , so you share facilities with her. Situated beside a mountain, so involves a lot of steps or the use of taxis all the time.
• Michelle (10/5): - The apartment was a little tricky to find initially and not easy for transport, but once found, the 20 min walk down into the old town was easy to navigate; although be prepared for many steps. The location was quiet and the host Maria was very welcoming, friendly and helpful. The room was adequate size with comfortable facilities and great bathroom. We enjoyed our 2 night break very much.

• Anndob (8/5): Very good - Nice welcome by the host. Marija was really welcoming and let us leave our luggage for a few hours. The room was perfectly clean and comfortable. The place was perfect for a night, but the walk to the old town might get a little bit uncomfortable if you are staying longer (there are some stairs and hills to access the room).
• J-P (10/5): - The quality of the renovation and cleanliness was great. It felt like a hotel room but in a private home. The only problems i had was with communication prior to my arrival. I had asked for an early luggage dropoff and never received any confirmation over the last few days prior. The actual entry door is also not clearly labeled so its confusing. An actual picture and map would of been needed to make it easier to find.

• Joanne (7/5): If you're taking the bus, go to the bus stop across the road from the bus station - Nice room with good view of Dubrovnik As with many accommodations in Dubrovnik, the accommodation is on a hillside. I took the recommended bus but ended up at the city centre, turns out I got on the bus the wrong side. If you're arriving from the bus station, cross the road to the bus stop on the other side of the road to take the bus. The only way of contact was via phone call to a middle person, so please ensure that you have a plan that allows for phone calls.

• Amber (7/5): Nice room in house shared with lovely landlady - The host was lovely and accommodating. She offered us refreshments and gave advice on local restaurants and provided a map with directions. The rest of the property (apart from bedroom & ensuite) is lived in by the landlady, which is not a problem but I should have done more research as this came as a surprise when we arrived and we felt like we needed to be quiet, though the host never made us feel like this. There was quite a lot of noise on our second morning, possibly other guests up and around, or the host was cleaning. The walk back from old town is extremely steep with many sets of steps. Uber are not particularly reliable - cancelled approx 20 times in 2 days!

• Maxine (10/5): Very comfortable accommodation and lovely host. - The room was comfortable and we had some lovely shared spaces, a balcony with a view out to sea and a lovely cool garden area out the back. Our host was very obliging, helped with Uber, gave us goodies, beer etc and was just lovely. A lovely home to stay in. The home is up a hill, easy to get down to the Old Town but quite a lot of steps up in the heat, but you can get a 2euro bus ride up, or a cheap uber. Its actually more accessible with your bags than being right in the Old Town as you can't take cars in there at all.

The apartment itself is great, 15 minute walk down hill to the Old Town, or a €7 Uber ride which takes 5 minutes

• Giovanna (10/5): Exceptional - The owner or the house is such a kind and beautiful soul. Always offered us a cup of juice or a coffe. If you want to know what Croatian hospitality looks like, comento this place. The house is extremely clean, and the beds are very comfortable. Dubrovnik is hilly so there are stairs to get to the accommodation, but the price of a taxi is not expensive. There are bakeries and supermarkets within walking distance.

Beautiful view from the communal balcony and spacious outdoor patio area. Friendly host who provided information and juice on arrival. Quiet location outside of old town, close to main road for taxis as required. Long (30 minute) walk with lots of stairs to get to the old town. Hard work in the heat but manageable.

• Añon (10/5): Cómoda y linda habitación ! - The room is very nice. Attended by its own owner. It is a room with a private bathroom in your own house. She was very kind, she welcomed us with cold juice, and she let us check in at 9:30 p.m. for the arrival of our ferry without a problem. It was super clean!! We liked it a lot. recommending It is approximately 15 minutes walk from the center. Although it was not a problem for us, you have to take into account that there are many steps to go up and down. We liked it a lot, we would definitely go again

• Andrew (9/5): Good location, friendly host and would stay there again. - The owner was helpful and hospitable and the rooms were simple but spotless and although I didn't use the air-conditioning it would be useful if the temperatures were any warmer. The walk to the old town took about 15 minutes and it was a good location. There may have been a misunderstanding but I had agreed to meet the host to collect luggage before heading to the bus station. When I arrived I couldn't find her and I got very close to missing my onward connection. It was probably a misunderstanding but it was a bit stressful.

• Johanna (9/5): lovely place, kindest host - Such a lovely place. Maria is a great host and a very kind person. We felt very welcome. The view from the balcony was beautiful. The bed was super comfortable and the room super clean. Nothing. The fact that the place is uphill and a little walk from the old town felt like a plus to us. If you don’t like to walk (up) however, a taxi / uber / bolt can take you very close to the apartment.
