- Tyson (6/5): I would never stay there again. - The neighborhood You could smell the sewage in the drains. It was appalling. No body soap. No trash can in bathroom. It was too small . Not one chair or table to sit down and eat or write. The bed was maybe the worst bed I’ve ever had to sleep in. You could feel every spring in the mattress. This stay needs a lot of work.

- Aleksandra (9/5): Calm, comfortable, and convenient stay in Tokyo. - Great location in a quiet, local neighborhood — perfect place to escape the city noise. The host responded quickly and helped with every question. Nothing significant, everything worked well.

- Mirfans (9/5): Superb - Clean and tidy room Bit small but still comfortable
- Paul (5/5): Passable - very clear instruction To much mail and thing to do before check-in. No light in the main room. To much things forbiden.
- Yuki (7/5): Good -
- Syarifah (7/5): Location good but with bad smell from washing machine and small stairs for big bags - My room was at 3rd floor, therefore difficult to bring big bag using the small stairs. After use the washing machine, there is unpleasant smile might be coming from the under washing machine drainage, not well maintain.
- Muhammad (6/5): Pleasant -
- Andreani (9/5): Pleasant - Peaceful neighbourhood and spacious apartment for 1-2 people. Close to higashi matsubara station and pleasant walk to shimo kitazawa and to hanegi park (nice plum blossoms) I received too many emails threatening that they will kick me out if the neighbours complain for noise.. this was unpleasant as it caused unnecessary worrying.. in the end regular life noise was just fine and i couldn’t hear anything from the neighbours
- Dragan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Roland (9/5): Superb -
- Jay (7/5): Good - Online registration was easy and organized.
Nice suburban area, walkable to a few train stations, Meidaimae and Shimokitazawa
The kitchen knife was sharp House has minor upkeep issues, dusty floor.
Could hear other guests through the walls
- Razel (10/5): Enjoyable stay and love the area as nearby 7-11. Perfect score as we are happy customers! - Our first home in our 10-day trip! Value for money and quiet neighborhood! Delighted customers here! No mirror at bedroom
- Rie (9/5): Satisfied! - It was my 3rd time to stay here. Train station is nearby, 7/11 nearby, basic kitchen tools are prepared and funtioned well, WiFi functioned without problem. Bathtub is helpful after long flight, and a heating system in the bathroom was also practical to hang the wasching. The area is also very quiet and safe. Owner answered to my questions very quickly and friendly all the time. When I stayed the first time in 2023, there were a bit more tools in the room (like scissors, small ring to hang the washing etc) which got less and less everytime I stayed. (Probably got stolen...?) Price got higher, which is a burden and the reason for a not high points for price-performance balance.

- Thirakvann (7/5): Good -
- Kema (10/5): My stay was absolutely fantastic! I highly recommend it. - Clean and super cozy. The bidet in the bathroom wasn't working, but at least everything else was great!
- Bevin (7/5): Good -
- Rinarelli (8/5): The apartment was clean, comfortable, well equipped and spacious enough for one person. - Comfortable apartment. The bathroom was especially spacious and decent compared to other apartments of similar surface. Well lit. Some noise from outside but in general very quiet. The kitchen equipment was sufficient and well organized. There is enough storage space for one or two persons. Air conditioning, fridge, and tv set functioned properly. Windows do not properly cut out the light in the early morning, as there is just a rolling curtain. People not used to Japan might want a darker room until at least 7 am. My room was advertised as designed for up to three people, but I think that this is a stretch - 2 people is the reasonable maximum.
- Kevin (10/5): Exceptional - Everything.
- Gary (5/5): Nice bed - Locality Smelt
- Dominique (9/5): 10 days there, not the first time there, very good stay and service - Fast Response for any question from the host at any time, very nice and helpful support, close to subway, very nice surrounding with restaurants and all necessary shops, No noise (beware to yours, you will be asked to leave), good clim clod and hot, large windows with bug protection. Good price. None
- Forest (4/5): Save your money, go elsewhere. - The quiet neighbourhood. If it was any busier we would have gotten less sleep than we already did. 1. No black out blinds. Not only did the street light keep the room looking like daylight but as soon as the actual sun came up you were forced awake at 4:30am. Plus the blind was hanging by a thread, so we were unable to add a blanket to the window to help this. Also could see and hear all the cars and people coming past.
2. The bed SUCKS. Every spring would stab us in the back, we ended up adding the extra comforter as an extra layer between us and the springs ruining our night.
3. The sewer smell throughout the bathroom area. Was horrendous. You will not be able to stop it.
4. No exhaust fan in the bathroom. In the welcome booklet it said DO NOT TOUCH. Which lead to steam invading both the toilet and bathroom. Also no shower curtain, bathroom got saturated. Make sure you leave your towel and clothes in the other room.
5. The fridge was very loud, as well as the upstairs neighbours stomping around. Have fun trying to get any sleep in this place.
6. Lack of outlets, the kettle had to be plugged in next to the TV to work…
7. Originally got charged twice for this booking, fortunately it was resolved with booking.com. Wasn’t a small amount of money and if you’re on a budget it hits hard.
I have travelled the world and spent many nights in shared dorm rooms with a better nights sleep.
- Andrew (7/5): Good - It was a good location because I used to live nearby but for people who are traveling for their first time to Tokyo it's a bit inconvenient I didn't like the fact that we stayed for 17 nights and had a fold-out bed and a futon on the floor and people who stayed two nights had much better accommodation.. the internet was really slow and the instructions on how to check in didn't include the fact that when you needed to speak to somebody on the iPad you needed to go inside the door which took us a while to find especially with friends who live locally and even they couldn't figure it out. We kept the place really clean but I also think that given the fact we stayed 17 days it would have been nice if somebody came into clean the place a bit because there was no vacuum cleaner. Also some of the guests who stayed there ignore the signs asking us to be quiet and respect the neighbors so many nights we had drunk tourists clunking up the stairs. We will probably stay there again but I feel really sorry for the next door neighbors. One more thing given the fact that one of the folder beds turned into a couch we did have a sitting area but it would have been much nicer if there was just one small foldable chair that we could have used when we watched TV instead of sitting side by side.
- Hannah (10/5): Exceptional -
- Phil (10/5): Highly recommend! - Very quiet and nice facilities Could have used a chair for the balcony
- Zhijie (8/5): Very good -

- Cinzia (8/5): Very good -
- Brandon (7/5): Good -
- Tomas (9/5): Superb -
- Ilaria (6/5): Good location but poor quality for japanese standards - Good location and easy access bathroom tab is the wrong size so impossible not to wet your feet when using! beds were quite uncomfortable and no shut down blinds so we had light coming from the street 😖
- Rebecca (10/5): It was comfortable and quiet and near my son’s home - Comfort and clenliness I am older so check in was a bit challenging with my u phone.
- Esme (9/5): Very helpful staff. Really good location for shops and transport. - So easy to check in, it is self check in with an iPad. We arrived 23:35 and the reception staff answered the FaceTime call straight the way which was very helpful. They responded quickly to any enquiries we had throughout our stay. The hairdryer and washing machine were great, very efficient appliances. Every room has a balcony which is also very nice, the natural lighting from the doors and windows in the apartment was really lovely and made the space seem so much more open and spacious. You have all the cooking utensils and equipment you need to cook for 3 people per room which was very useful if you wanted to make your own meals at the apartment. Amazing shower, a lovely bath and a really cool toilet! A few more waste/bin bags to be provided, but I’m sure on request they would have provided them.
- Michele (9/5): Comfortable stay in a relaxed neighborhood - Great location in a hipster and calm neighborhood, convenient studio for 1 to 2 people, would not recommend with a toddler. Excellent and very silent washing machine. Noisy refrigerator, but when switched off it was OK.
- Ewa (7/5): Good -

- Francis (1/5): This is easily one of your worst options in Japan. - This place was dirty and the bed was uncomfortable. It is cramped for two people, so I can't imagine three people in the room... The host had to be dialed via an iPad and told us we couldn't go in, even though we had "successfully" requested an early check-in. Worst of all, we did not like the neighborhood and don't know how anyone could. There is nothing to do there, and it's a decent walk to the nearest subway station past nothing but cramped homes (no shops or restaurants). The neighborhood has no charm and will be disappointing to almost anyone looking forward to a visit to Tokyo.
- Mathias (1/5): avoid at all cost - this has been a nightmarish and still on going extraordinary negative experience. booking.com has not been thourough in investigating the issue. everything was completely unprofessional.
- Sha (8/5): Very good -
- Georgia (9/5): Superb -
- James (6/5): Pleasant - Location was great, in a quiet residential area, 20 mins from Shimokitazawa. Shops etc nearby. Apartment had everything needed for a basic stay but even though it featured kitchen equipment etc, it would have been very hard to cook in the flat due to the limited quality and size of amenities. Bathroom was clean and shower was powerful - there was also a bath and washing machine. Bed was uncomfortable and the sofa bed-style sofa flopped around and was essentially unusable for relaxing. Kitchen was too small and lacked any preparation space so was only really useful for making some instant soup or noodles. The flat is also poorly sound-proofed and you can hear neighbors easily through the walls.
- Philip (6/5): Pleasant - no lift, have to carry a luggage to the room.
- Katherine (4/5): Disappointing - Residential area, a bit quiet. Multiple stations within walking distance. Building is new and comfortable. Bathroom is spacious and clean. The other reviews weren't wrong, the bed sheet seemed as if it wasn't changed—the futon was folded carelessly, there was hair on it. I booked the room for 3 people and the sofa bed wasn't prepared when we came at around 6 PM, it was still in sofa position with no sheet on it; again there was hair on the small white covering on the sofa seat. When we asked for a sheet to cover the sofa bed, the host told us we could use the coverings shoved into a small basket in the room—which, again, was dirty with hair all over it, and it wasn't a sheet, just the layer you put underneath a sheet.
I reported the conditions again to the host immediately and we kept contacting through the Booking app and local telephone line, and the host kindly replied but then there was no follow up until close to 10 PM in which the host said the cleaning service isn't available until the next day (even though the room was not yet prepared for 3 people to stay in). Finally we asked only for two set of clean sheets and futon covers and the host delivered but we had to change the sheets ourselves, though it was better than sleeping on dirty surface, I suppose.
I find it strange because cleaning is supposed to be done before our check-in time, I'm not sure why the room was so dirty.
The futon, sheets, sofabed, and the blinds were falling apart and in dire need of replacement. I can nitpick everything but on the top of my mind: the padding of the futon were thinning, the sheets were stained, the sofabed was missing chunks and the blinds were basically broken.
Lastly, there was a small disagreement where I first asked (pre-check-in) if it was okay to put our luggage after checking out before the next guest came and the host agreed. I suppose after the whole cleaning ordeal the host changed their mind and so when I asked again the day before checkout the host said we needed to take our luggage away immediately because the cleaning lady has her own schedule.
- Kiyoko (1/5): Bad -
- Daniela (9/5): Superb - The location, pretty close to Tokyo but very quiet perfect por a peaceful rest. The WiFi could be better.
- Wan (7/5): Good - wifi is not good
the bed sheets are not comfortable
take long time to check in
- Hamdani (7/5): Good -
- Christiaan (2/5): Very poor -
- Kim (6/5): It was an OK property for a short stay - good for 2 but a bit crowded for 3 people. - The location was good for us, and it is close to shops and restaurants. Also not far from several train stations. Property could have provided tea and coffee for the first day at least.
There were 3 of us but the property only had 2 bowls - could have done with a bit more crockery.
