jovannaf746 (10/5): Amazing Stay - Hello, My friend and I really enjoyed our stay at Mint House. We had a conference at the J.W. Marriott Miami. Our walk was five minutes away from the conference. I felt really safe in the building. The location was great. Close to the conference, Whole Foods, and 15-minute walk from the pier. It was so nice to have an apartment style hotel. If one of us was ready for bed/tired, and the other wasn't, you had the space for privacy to sleep in the room and the other to be in the living room. The black out curtains were amazing for deep sleep. I'm very sensitive to noise and I did not hear any of the outside/car noise when I was sleeping. The pillows are amazing. Really enjoyed our stay and would definitely return.

The check in process is time consuming and complicated. And the really worts of all is they want to run a police records check and social medias check!!!! A very privacy invasive policy, never seen anywhere in the world in all my life. The phone assistance is very slow and all this process it took me more than a frustrating hour, seated in the building lobby dealing with them. Luckily the apartments manager was there comprehensive, willing to help and very kind. Keep all this in mind when you book with them, probably al this is comprehensible part of the game when you book this a apartment for a long period but as night usage as a simple hotel, is complicated and time consuming. The good: The location is fantastic, right in the center of downtown, in a very nice building. The apartment is very very nice, perfectly cleaned and perfect in every smallest detail: complimentary coffee, water, Snack, small towels for makeup cleaning with clranser, pad for women. Everything you would need, perfectly clean, well thought and ready there for you. Bed is very comfortable, very good quality of sheets, pillow and blankets. Super fast internet connection. Perfect temperature control. The area is a bit noisy (it is obviously city center) but window are very sound proof, so no problem at all (and on top of that they give you as courtesy ear plugs and eyes mask) Decoration is very pleasant. QUALITY PRICE IS REALLY REALLY GOOD. To summarize, if you plan a long stay is a perfect establishment in Miami Downtown and to deal with their check in and assistance will be part of the game. Probably if you’ll do all this in advance it will be less frustrating for you. If this is a last minute booking and/or for just one night bear in mind my experience and maybe pick another solution. I would give a 9 to this place but for the bad experience in the check in and for their intrusive privacy policies I will give a 7

That said, we were upgraded to a larger room which was the reason for the change. Besides that, everything was good. We will certainly be back.
tic971 (10/5): Perfect appartment perfectly situated between Downtown and Brickel. - It was our second stay at Mint House Miami - Downtown and it was exceptionnal, just like the first trip. We were there with our kid, and the 1BR appartment was perfect for us. The appartment is well designed, decorated and equiped. Everything is like new and comfortable. I will for sure come here next time !

I was notified later that the thermostat is set to a certain temperature and if you change it, you’re responsible for setting it back to where you found it upon entering. It would’ve been great to know that before checking in. Communication is something that needs to be improved so there are clear expectations at the property prior to checking in.

Brickell is also quite near (10 Minute walk or use the metromower system). Beds are comfortable. The pool area is also nice (salt water pool). Only parking is a litttle challenge .

The only problem is that nowhere in the checkin instructions for it specify that the key is the actual elevator fob and no one in the call center or concierge service knew this. On weekends, pool area are being full of disrespectful people who are listening loud music. It's the first time we are seeing this. Building management should inform people not to disturb other people. Thanks god our apartment was not facing the pool. Cannot imagine how annoying that would be... Attention, If you intend to order any items from Amazon or other websites, the place does not ACCEPT any deliveries being sent via USPS. Make sure your shipment is done by Amazon, FEDEX or UPS. Soundproofing is poor. There are a lot of loud pipe exhaust cars and motorbikes are passing in front. You cannot image how loud and how many they are. Parking area is located at 229 SE 2nd St, Miami, FL 33131. This was not being told before our arrival therefore we had to spend 20 USD to the parking lot located across assuming the place where Mint House had an agreement.

Dumitras (4/5): - Everything was great except for the fact that the key FOB for the elevator was missing, luckily I was on a trip with some friends and their room had the key so I was able to leave and come whenever they did. I tried contacting customer support and ask for the key to which they replied they'd send someone to my room within an hour which didn't happen within that hour and I had to leave since I had plans and couldn't just wait forever. Also the TV was not functioning properly, had some sort of error connecting and wouldn't let me do anything besides turning it on and off. Otherwise everything else was amazing.

Elad (4/5): Not a good place to stay. - The place is nice. It's not a hotel, even if they call it one. There is no one to talk to on location, only a phone number. The electricity in the living room and kitchen did not work, and no one came to fix.
Mee (2/5): - There were quite a few issues with the apartment I stayed in. Shower, sink, and kitchen did not drain well and you had to wait 5-15 mins for water to go down. Elevator was confusing to used, key door pin was incorrect when I arrived there at 2am in the morning from the airport so I had to wait for someone to fix it. Key fob was not registered which was essential because you can't access elevators, entry way to the apartments, hotel etc. TV did not work and I called 3x to have the issue fixed and no one came. The experience overall was a nightmare.

We arrived early at the property and Anna kindly assisted us with storing our luggage. This was much appreciated. Our rooms were ready a bit early. One room was fine, the other smelled of Burger King and fried foods. I asked for some assistance with this issue and was told they’d send cleaning products. This never happened when I suggested they change our room, I was told they would try to do that and then heard back the next day that it was not possible. The property is in mediocre condition. It looks like they try and keep it clean but it needs work. There are also ALOT of dogs. I would not rebook.

Jason (2/5): Dirty party room - The building is called Muze but the booking is under Mint House. Even with GPS, the building was hard to find. The online checkin was easy but a bit intrusive. They require a background check. We were sent an email with the checkin information. This gave us checkin time and a door code. Our checkin time was 3:30. We arrived around 3:45. The room was being cleaned when we arrived. There were cans of red bull and was extremely dirty. There were a pair of dirty panties on the floor. It appeared as a party took place the night prior. Needless to say the room was not ready. The cleaning women asked to give her an hour to finish up. We walked around a few blocks and got an early dinner. We came back approximately 40 minutes later with pizza. The room was sol not clean so we ate dinner on the balcony. Another 30 minutes later the cleaning lady left. We started to explore the room after and found most floors were not clean. My 2 sons were going to use the pull out sofa. When we moved the coffee table it was apparent that the room was not very clean. The sheets on the sofa were black in spots. The tv did not have a remote and the only way to use it was with a Roku. At this point I called the main number to see if we could switch rooms. The number went to a main number and not our specific location. The lady on the phone apologized for the room and informed us they had no additional rooms and assured us someone would call us back. No one ever did! For the price I expected much more!

Jeremy (10/5): Best Stay I have had in 12 years! - I have been traveling for work for 12 years and this was one of the best stays I have ever had. The property is located in a great spot with Whole Foods across the street. Starbucks near by. Easy walk to all the shops along the waterfront and park. The pool was one of our highlights hanging out at. Ping pong table and the gym was clean and had a bunch of equipment to use. The balcony was so nice to sit out at and have a drink. The decor is professionally designed and they had a QR code that you could buy anything you enjoyed. The beds were super comfortable and I wanted to buy the pillows to take home. The shower heads are the same German ones I have at home and I paid $180 each for these. The rooms were very quiet and clean. Full kitchen was great. I just can't explain how nice this stay was. Valet parking was the only option but was easy to use. For anyone looking for a great getaway with the family or for work this is the spot.
