• Jade (8/5): Very good - Near to a station (Higashi Shinjuku) and Shinjuku Station. There is only a washing machine but no dryer. The plus point is there is a self laundry shop around the corner behind APA hotel. This room is good for 2 adults and 1 child. It would not fit more than 3 persons. Kabukicho is a red light district, but I still feel safe walking at night.

• I.s1004 (4/5): I don't think I would stay a second time. - I don't have any particularly good memories...having an emergency umbrella? Location of the accommodation? First of all, it's too narrow. This accommodation accommodates a maximum of 2 adults. In my opinion, is it the perfect size for one person to stay? The accommodation is too dirty. Especially the bathroom shower and door are full of mold. And I asked a question before going to the accommodation, but there was no answer...There were even cockroaches crawling around... it was terrible.

• Sarah (8/5): great location, small but more space than a hotel room and useful washing machine. - Great location, close enough to the Shinjuku scene but just far enough away to be quiet. It's a tiny apartment but that's Tokyo, I would say that it would be too small for more than 2 people. There is one large double bed in a corner (so one side is against a wall) and across the foot of this is a single sofa bed. You have to move the sofa chair to get into the wardrobe. There is just enough width then along the main bed before a narrow desk against a wall - no other furniture as it wouldn't fit. decent size balcony tho which helps. The bathroom is surprisingly big for the size of apartment and has a small washing machine which is great. Full size fridge too, but basic kitchenette (which didn't bother us). Comfy bed but not much variety in bedding which meant I was super hot or super cold ... kitchen was very basic, however this didn't bother us as we didn't cook at home - maybe this is also typical of small Tokyo apartments. A single gas burner and basic cooking equipment and crockery. The bedding was very basic, the sheets felt like cotton but the duvet was synthetic from ikea and very sweaty for me as a hot sleeper - there wasn't a blanket I could find or other option but I found the spare linen under the bed drawers and used the single duvet cover as an extra blanket. The pillows were all too big and large for me and my partner, we used the chair cushion instead.

Near many convenience shops and eateries Toilet exceeded expectations - clean, water pressure was great and warm temperatures Host gives an informative instruction manual before stay Building is safe Host rather unresponsive - takes many bumps and days before they reply. Only sent the instruction manual a few days? before reaching her accoms and it was very anxiety inducing Light was flickering and when feedbacked, she didn't do/ say she will do something about it. If I rmb correctly, I was left on read... The street from shinjuku to the accoms can be quite dangerous - drunk youths etc Accoms best fit 2 people - 3 is tooooo crammed... no space to put luggage at all !

Great stuff which helped us to use the facilities even late at night 😊 there are some stairs in the building’s entrance, which might be a little bit difficult with big suitcases

• Irène (9/5): Great location, everything you need for a nice stay in Tokyo - The location is great, close to everything in Shinjuku, easy to travel to Shibuya, Harajuku etc. The bed was really comfortable, which is rare in Japan. There is a little couch which is also very nice, as you have a place to chill and watch TV on the huge flatscreen (if you understand Japanese or can screenmirror with Android). We didn't cook in the kitchen as there are so many restaurants around, but it was perfect that we could have breakfast and coffee at home and save some money. You could cook there, but the supplies are limited. We were a little disappointed that the jetbeams in the tub didn't work, this would have been a wonderful addition! Also, it can become a little noisy as Shinjuku is the center for nightlife, but it didn't bother me nor did it wake me up at night.

• Cheryl (10/5): Exceptional - the location was near the station, the space is much bigger than hotels around the price you pay for. a lot of convenient stores nearby and the host was very responsive! checking in was easy. the apartment was still a little too cold despite turning on the heater, we are from Singapore so not too used to cold in general :)

• Marc (8/5): Nice & Save appartment at a good location. - - Location (Subway just a few steps away and takes you to e.g. Shibuya) - Save (Guarded appartment) I would appreciate if the owner would send each guest a document showing a picture of the entrance (foreigners are not used to the japanese house addresses) as well as the room number and a translation of all equipment in the house. Not a big deal but would increase my rating. Nevertheless they respond very quickly if one has a problem.
