The mood of the hotel is pretty epic. Dark and emotional- yet the atrium restaurant is light and so pretty. We had room 411- awesome space if you have a family and value personality in a hotel. The front desk staff went way above and beyond. Free drinks because our room was ready 15 minutes past 3. A discount on a ride that had the smell of stale cigarettes and was hard on my chronically ill kiddo. When a hotel takes responsibility for minor inconveniences that are often beyond their control, I am always super impressed. The food was lovely. Sometimes slow service in the restaurant but everyone was pleasant and a more relaxed vibe is common in London. I mentioned our interest in the art and they had a whole folder printed out for us. I would not hesitate to stay again!!!!

- umicheric (10/5): Excellent Service, Very Nice Restaurant - This was my first visit, and I had quite a pleasant three night stay at the NoMad London. The staff are exceptional here: pleasant, helpful, and responsive to any concerns. The guest room corridors can be a bit of a dark, confusing maze here (the building was converted from an old magistrate court and police station, and reflects many of these historic elements), but the staff were helpful in pointing out the easiest path to and from the lobby. I was initially assigned a room that had some odd noise issues, because the pressure difference in the corridor caused heavy air flow around the doorframe, resulting in non-stop swooshing noises. Although I try not to be difficult, I know this would’ve been difficult to sleep with. Thankfully, the front desk staff recognized the issue immediately and personally visited two other guest rooms to find a replacement — and made a note so that I won’t be assigned to a noisy room next time I visit. The hotel is one of the nicer choices for Hilton Free Night Awards in London, with a high pounds-to-points ratio for Standard redemptions. As a Hilton Diamond member, I was able to use my complimentary breakfast credit in the centerpiece palm court atrium restaurant, Twenty8 NoMad. There was no buffet, but plentiful made-to-order options. I also tried the Steak Frites at Twenty8 one evening, and it was perfectly prepared. Service in the restaurant, just like the hotel, was polished and friendly. Note that there is no pool, but there is a basic gym for a hotel of this level, but there are convenient options nearby in Holborn or Covent Garden if you need more equipment to keep up your routine. Overall, I would gladly stay at this hotel again for work or for play.

The location is central to so much that you quite literally can walk everywhere. The staff are seriously second to none. We received care from the moment we arrived to the time we departed. The attention to details personal and important to our experience were outstanding. The rooms are generous for a European hotel; the food was excellent and portions were realistic. The staff? WOW. We had a great time. The hotel proactively alerted us to a marathon that was going on during our stay which helped us plan ahead since we had a tour we needed to be on time for. Chocolate and champagne awaited us upon check in. The staff genuinely loved taking care of their guests and we felt especially pampered. The NoMad also had mindful supplies to help us manage the London weather. So not miss this magical hotel and staff in the heart of the theatre district in Covent Garden. 10/10 would book again!

- Travail7 (10/5): Highly Recommended - We've been looking for a hotel in London where we will always stay because we like it so much. After six tries at other places, the NoMad may be the one. This is a lovely and nicely-designed hotel just across from the Royal Ballet and Opera in Covent Garden, which makes it extremely quiet. We went for the opera, so that was terrific. The building is beautiful, and the interior spaces are designed with great thought. The staff is unfailingly gracious, friendly, and helpful. The hotel contains a very good restaurant, as well as several fantastic bars. The Library Room is reminiscent of the Library Bar from the former NoMad in NYC but much more elegant. All together, I don't think I've had a better stay in London.

I want to thank Leo at the Concierge desk, as well as Serena Lightner, General Manager, for going above and beyond. I still can't believe I made my flight. It was only due to their caring and exceptional service. Besides the service, the location is amazing! We caught 2 plays due to its strategic location near great restaurants, plays and night life. Zeer goed schoongemaakt en opgeruimd. Aardig, beleefd, niet opdringerig personeel. Vroegen om 2 dekbedden omdat de tieners een bed deelde en zonder probleem zo opgemaakt. Ontbeten buiten hotel 2x en laatste ochtend in het hotel. Lunch bij aankomst in het hotel. Alles met verse ingredienten. En goed van smaak. Ruime bedden, badkamer ruim en de douche is werkelijk heerlijk. Fijne dikke handdoeken. De waterdruk super sterk heel fijn. Wij zijn heel veel gewend overal in de wereld qua high end hotels. Bij het zoeken en boeken vond ik Nomad voor een citytrip best prijzig, maar het was voor ons het meer dan waard. Wij komen hier zeker terug. De kinderen van andere gasten tegen over onze kamers maakte veel lawaai in de gang. Andere gasten zouden hun kinderen moeten leren respect te tonen voor andere gasten en corrigeren met lawaai maken, rennen en spelen op de gangen.

Fabulous service from everyone, especially Rebecca, who was attentive and interested (and interesting). Makes such a difference being greeted with a smile. - Caroline (8/5): Luxurious yet homely - Amazing location, and a hotel that feels luxurious and like home, both at the same time. It was a lovely way to make a birthday special. The restaurant is a beautiful glass-roofed space that is atmospheric for dinner (which we visited on a previous trip) and bathed in light for breakfast - even on the grey morning we were there. Staff were very attentive and polished. Our room was attractive, cozy and clean. We enjoyed the Mexican bar for a light dinner and loved the breakfast in the main restaurant. It is a lovely hotel but I expected to be a bit more "wowed" for the price - in terms of experience rather than glitz. I would like to have seen more of the staff's personalities. Walking through the lobby was like triggering motion sensors of five perfect "good mornings"! I didn't like the door to the ensuite bathroom - two doors that have to meet exactly to close and there is a noisy click as the catch engages.

- LAW64 (10/5): Lovely drinks in the library - We have stayed here before and had a good time. This visit we just wanted to have a drink with family post theatre. We were very pleased with the welcome we received and really enjoyed having a drink in the Library. The staff were very friendly and welcoming even though we just had drinks. It was also an excellent hot chocolate!

Close to theatres and shops, yet away from the tourist crowds around Oxford Street, Regent Street, and other major attractions. It started with the warm welcome from exceptionally friendly staff. The hotel room genuinely had everything one could wish for, even a hair straightener! Wonderful bath towels, a very comfortable bed, and a well-stocked minibar. The room was beautifully and atmospherically designed. The room was kept impeccably clean throughout our stay. We very much enjoyed the New Year’s Eve dinner in the restaurant, as well as the restaurant service in the library on a few occasions. I stayed for 5 nights from December 23–28, and it truly felt like the perfect place to be during the Christmas holiday. The location is unbeatable—right in the heart of London and steps from the Tube—yet just far enough removed from the overcrowded holiday streets that you can come back to the hotel and immediately feel calm and relaxed. It’s the best of both worlds. The hospitality is where The NoMad really shines. Every interaction felt genuine and thoughtful, from the front desk to the concierge, who are always more than willing to help with anything you need. A very special shout-out goes to Reece, one of the breakfast servers. He is an absolute gem—warm, attentive, and incredibly positive, even while working on Christmas Day. That kind of attitude truly elevates a stay and does not go unnoticed. Speaking of breakfast, it was once again outstanding—just as memorable as my previous visit. It consistently set the tone for the day. The Christmas holiday decorations throughout the hotel were also beautifully done: festive, elegant, and perfectly aligned with the NoMad aesthetic. The rooms are immaculate, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed, but the showers deserve their own mention—absolute heaven after a long day exploring London. Honestly, the list goes on and on. The NoMad London delivers a level of experience that feels effortless yet deeply considered. It is only a matter of time before it receives widespread recognition from Forbes, Condé Nast, and other prestigious publications—it truly deserves to be among the world’s top hotels. - LadyVegasLondon (10/5): Quite simply a wonderful stay - every single bit of it! - The NoMad excelled from the moment we walked through the door. The warm inviting interior was matched by the warm welcome from Luigi on the front desk - who (upon discovering we were on a rare night away from our children) gave us a voucher for two complimentary cocktails in the Side Hustle bar - making us feel appreciated straight away. The Side Hustle bar is fabulous. We popped in for a quick drink and a snack mid afternoon and once again had a warm welcome by the staff. We sat at the bar so had the entertainment of the cocktails being made and the chat of the bar staff (who were all lovely). I went for a classic margarita and it was soooooo good, and followed it up with a margarita of their choice, which again was great (thank you Daniello). We ordered a selection of tacos and they were incredible - each one a burst of different flavours! Our favourite was the fish taco - but I’d eat all of them again! We came back to the bar at 11pm after our evening out and had a couple more drinks and some churros!! We will be visiting this bar again very soon!! The room was stylish and had everything we needed (or could want) - including the welcome fudge! The bathroom was huge and the shower pressure was brilliant - always a big tick in my book! Quite often we stay in hotels and say ‘that was good but….’ At NoMad there was no ‘but’ - every bit of our stay was wonderful. Thank you!!

- 526k_braa (2/5): Disaster communication - Hello, I would like to report a very unpleasant experience I had while trying to contact your hotel today. When I first called the main line, I was connected to what sounded like a robotic AI assistant. The tone of the voice and the scripted nature of the questions made this very clear. I asked to be transferred to a real person, and someone answered saying they were from reception. I explained that we would like to arrange an early check-in, but the responses again felt extremely scripted, so I politely asked whether I was speaking with an AI system. The person then hung up on me. When I called the hotel again, the line was suddenly busy. I attempted to reach the concierge, explained what had just happened, and told her that I had simply asked whether the previous assistant was AI. She immediately said, “If you speak like this, I will hang up on you as well,” and ended the call. This behavior is shocking, unprofessional, and entirely unacceptable for any hotel—let alone one that brands itself as a service-oriented property. - Londontripadviser (10/5): A lovely evening, with a personal trip down memory lane - I came here for a work dinner with clients - we had drinks in a private bar and then ate dinner in one of the former court rooms. The decor is dark, sophisticated and atmospheric. A number of our guests commented how cool the venue was, along with how good the food and service were. I also had a great evening and agreed with everything our clients were saying. According to Wikipedia, many famous people appeared in the court, including the Krays, Lord Haw-Haw, Dr Crippen and Oscar Wilde. For my own part, it was a bit bizarre to think that the last time I had been in the building was in 1998 when I was appearing as a baby barrister, defending a client. I can't remember what the case was about, but I certainly know it wouldn't have been as enjoyable as my evening at NoMad London.

- alejandro (1/5): THEFT and lack of accountability - Deeply disappointed--Theft and lack of accountability I am writing this after one of the most upsetting experiences during what was supposed to be our 10 year anniversary trip with my wife, shortly after she lost her beloved grandmother. We stayed at this hotel expecting comfort and safety, but instead had money stolen from our room while we were out. Despite reporting it immediately and providing details, the hotels investigation concluded with no answers no willingness to share CCTV footage with us— only saying police could request it. That may sound reasonable on paper, but as guests who lost significant amounts of money, it left us feeling helpless, dismissed and unprotected. We traveled extensively and never experienced such poor handling of a serious situation. The incident completely ruined what should have been a special and healing trip. For the price and reputation of this hotel, the lack of transparency, empathy and accountability is unacceptable. I would strongly advise future guests to be extremely CAUTIOUS with their belongings and to consider other hotels that take guest safety and trust more seriously.

- Travelaround59 (8/5): Such a good time at cocktail time! - A friend invited us for cocktail and canapés and it was genuinely extremely lovely. Of course the main attraction was the decor of the place and considering that almost all the Londoners knew the place for when it was the Law Court (do not ask!!!) it was so interesting to see how beautifully and tastefully have been made up. Service was very good and the food was so nicely presented. A wonderful experience really!

Ce qui veut dire pas de lumière naturelle du tout … et de la musique jusqu’à 23h, même si le volume est maitrisé c’est pas très agréable d’avoir le son des basses en arrière plan surtout vu le prix d’une chambre.

- Arabella (10/5): Elegant warm luxury. - My mother is 90 and I had mentioned that her circulation was not the best. Her room was extra warm on arrival and two hot water bottles were laid out on the bed. She was upgraded to a stunning room. The free afternoon tea on arrival (2 slices of Victoria sponge, 4 lemon macarons, 2 chocolate chip cookies per room) was superb and just what was needed after a long train journey. Also appreciated was the lack of a cloying overwhelming fragrance everywhere which so many hotels mistakenly seem to think is pleasant. Slightly clutching at straws here since we had such a wonderful time. The passageways were a little dark and the signage to the rooms not the best (though the desire to be subtle was appreciated). Too much weird art in the rooms for my taste, but the next person might have thought it amazing. The mound of undressed lollo rosso with my (delicious) eggs benedict was superflous - put the eggs on a smaller plate and ditch the pointless garnish! And perhaps a more traditional breakfast might be available (or if it was available, mentioned somewhere) - cereal, toast, boiled eggs, not everyone wants truffles in the morning.

- TheTravellerReview (10/5): Sophisticated and Wonderful Oasis in Central London with the Best Staff - Finding a quality 5-star hotel in central London is not difficult, but finding one like NoMad with its superb service, quirky design and uniqueness is something else. NoMad is located in the heart of super-busy Covent Garden and theatre district, directly across from the Royal Opera House main entrance. It’s been lovingly converted from the old Bow Street Magistrates Court and Police Station. The hotel is a real art experience with the walls lined with modern and varied art pieces, plus the restaurant which is located under the sky-high atrium is beautifully appointed. We had breakfast there during our 10-night stay and the service and food was excellent every time. All of the staff were the friendliest and most attentive we’ve come across in any hotel anywhere in the world. Check-in was fast and easy after a long flight from Australia. We must single out Andrea on reception who was just the nicest person. She helped us with our bags, explained everything about the hotel, and even arranged a bottle of champagne to be delivered to our room to celebrate an anniversary. Thank you so much, Andrea. We were always farewelled and greeted at the door every day and no request was too difficult. We booked our stay on Hilton Honors points. As a Gold member our room was upgraded to a Parlour Suite which is just the most beautiful room with a separate lounge. Water pressure in the shower is outstanding as other reviewers have remarked. Nothing worse than dribbly slow hotel showers! A full ala carte cooked breakfast up to the value of £70 (for a couple) was also included as part of the Hilton Honors Gold status. £70 per day is more than enough to cover anyone’s breakfast needs, but for a ten-night stay the menu can be a little repetitive. The barista coffees were excellent. Our Italian maître whose name escapes me paid great attention to making sure coffees were excellently prepared. Fresh flowers were placed on each breakfast table. Some reviewers have remarked on the dark corridors. If you are used to bright corporate hotels than yes it may appear dim, but the ambience and design is truly beautiful. Some of the doors are from the women’s cells and even original jail signs have been preserved in some guest rooms. The library is a lovely oasis from the chaos in the streets outside. Our room on the first floor was very quiet and we didn’t hear any noise from the street or other rooms. If your room is being cleaned or you just want to regroup before heading out, there are comfortable sofas and tables where you can work from. It can get crowded at peak time, but you can prebook a couch or table for a specific time. Next to the library is Side Hustle, one of the THE best cocktail bars we have ever been to. It has just won ‘Best International Hotel Bar 2025’ in the world at the 19th annual Spirited Awards. Try and get a bar stool at the bar and you can watch the amazing bartender/mixologists at work. The tapas menu is also exquisite and reasonable priced considering the location. In the past we have stayed at the wonderful Trafalgar St James. The Trafalgar is also excellent and has a great location. It’s probably better for bus options and proximity to Charing Cross, but NoMad is only a brief walk to the Covent Garden Underground. Buses are best accessed at Aldwych, a few minute’s walk south. It really is useful to have Hilton status. Reviewers of other Hilton partner hotels in London such as Flemings have remarked that Hilton status is often not recognised at partner hotels. Of course if the hotel is full or you stay in high season, an upgrade may not be available, as it was for us in Paris at Hilton’s beautiful Le Narcisse Blanc. We can wholly recommend NoMad for travellers looking for something different from the usual corporate and traditional style London hotels. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Die Einrichtung des Hotels ist sehr ansprechend und elegant. Neben der Lobby gibt es eine Bibliothek mit einer Auswahl von spannenden Büchern. Das Zimmer war grosszügig und das Bett sehr bequem. - Vasco80 (10/5): Like a Cabbie - Don’t go south of the River! - We chose Nomad mainly due to its proximity to West End, and Covent Garden. Decided to upgrade to a suite on arrival and glad we did! The Hotel is very cool, opulent and stylish, and all the Staff were extremely friendly. We opted for a Brunch in Atrium restaurant which was delicious, paired with a couple of cocktails! The suite was very spacious with a separate lounge, large bathroom and incredible shower! The building itself is steeped in history, as it is the old Magistrates Court and Police Station of Bow Street, and as such you can gain access to the Museum via the Hotel itself Situated in the thick of Covent Garden, about a 5 minute walk from the Tube and only a 10minute walk to Theatres. Dozens of options for places to eat and drink all within a stones throw. Part of the Hotel lobby is The Library for quiet drinks, and also another bar ‘Side Hustle’ right next door We also walked to The Savoy (10minutes) to have drinks at the American Bar. Would highly recommend!
