• Robert & Di (10/5): Well located apartment very close to Pile Gate. - Great location, only 5 minutes from Pile Gate. Easy stroll with bags, but check carefully before entering the town because our iPhone GPS initially didn’t work too well. Good facilities even though the apartment is in an old building.
• Steven (8/5): - Location was fantastic near lots of restaurants and sites to see. Also very close to Pile Gate Apartment was mostly quiet and setup nicely. Shower head was not attached.
• Guilia (4/5): Pratique mais vraiment bruyant - La situation géographique dans la vielle ville très pratique pour se balader pour un très court séjour. La dame a été très réactive pour la remise des clés et à tout fait pour que nous puissions accéder le plus rapidement que possible à l'appartement. La literie dans la chambre est bien et l'autre lit est un canapé-lit Trop, vraiment trop bruyant.Vers 5h30, on entendait où des poubelles ou des livraisons rouler sur les pavés, puis le début de la mise en place du restaurant en-dessous et les voisins quand ils se sont préparés et sont partis. Malheureusement, la nuit fut courte dans ces conditions et ce n'est pas encore l'été 😬 Appartement un peu petit pour 4 avec 2 ados. Salle de bain dans la chambre parentale donc si vous voulez aller aux toilettes dans la nuit, nécessité d'allumer la lumière et de réveiller ceux qui sont dans la chambre parentale car la porte de la salle de bain est juste ajourée.

I absolutely loved the shutters on the windows and my favourite thing was the pulley clothesline outside the windows. Great location in Old Town. So glad I stayed here. Nothing.

The apartment in the heart of Dubrovnik’s Old Town was spotless, cozy, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Its location couldn’t be better, with all the main attractions, restaurants, and cafés just a short walk away. We truly enjoyed our time here and have absolutely nothing to complain about. Highly recommended!

• Wiebke (9/5): Great apartment and service in the Old Town - The location of the apartment (we stayed for a whole week in 'Madrid') was excellent - easy to reach from Pile Gate. The surroundings were quiet which was probably due to the season not having started yet, quite a few places were closed. We didn't mind as more than enough were open. A special Thank you goes to Beverley, who met us on arrival and at check-out and was super helpful in arranging luggage storage on our last day. The apartment is of a good size, was clean and everything one would need was supplied. The bed is large and comfortable. Great to have a proper wardrobe. Also, good communications before and during our stay. We were encouraged to ask for anything we might need but as you will see from the above, we didn't need anything. The flat above seemed to change occupants on a daily basis, and some of them were rather loud (moving furniture at 1am) - but that is not the owner's fault and some noise coming through is to be expected. Thankfully the ones being really loud seemed to stay only one night.
• Páll (10/5): Great location. Clean and well equipped. - Perfect location. Small but well equipped apartment. We have stayed for 2 nights (4 people). Heating worked, which was needed in February. The bathroom is very cold though. But that is the only thing we have noticed.

Darf man nicht zu viel erwarten… - Die Lage ist top 👍 aber trotzdem ruhig 😌 Wir waren als Familie da, unsere Kinder haben in dem großen Bett geschlafen und wir in den Beistellmatratzen, und diese waren leider sehr unbequem und alt. Die Bettdecken haben auch gemuffelt und es rochen nicht sauber sondern abgestanden und benutzt. Das sollte wirklich geändert werden.

• Prerak (10/5): - Location is phenomenal. Right by Pile gate which made catching buses for day trips very easy since they all start super early in the morning. This unit has laundry facility which was a huge bonus!! Ceilings are low and slanting, since it's top floor. If you are tall watch out.

It was walkable to everything and the communication was very good with the host a small thing, but our only criticism would be the Wi-Fi was unstable other than that, an excellent day with all of the amenities you need including a washer and dryer.

• marisabel (9/5): - Well equipped apartment in the heart of Dubrovnik. We had a delay and arrived very late yet our hostess still waited for us and was very welcoming. Excellent communication. The air-conditioning system needs to be changed as it was rather inefficient for the space. The apartment was the attic so one has to watch out for the beams.
• Maria (7/5): - Great central location in old town - be aware you need to park a bit outside. We paid 140 eur for 25H:/ The host changed the apartment without notice. Same location but much more simple than pictured. Basically a white room with 2 beds and a very plain bathroom and kitchen. Especially the extra bed was not super comfortable. I was also a bit overwhelmed by communication. Received multiple messages already 3 days before arrival, one from the host, one from a manager who then provided me a third number to arrange the apartment handover. A lot of effort for a one night stay.

• Richard (9/5): Superb - Apartment is very easy to find, and very close to the gate, with no steps between the gate and apartment building. This is super valuable if you have luggage. It’s at the end of the street, so it’s relatively quiet as well. Finally, the clothes washing machine + dryer combo worked well and was nice to go home with all clean clothes. You’d be hard pressed to find a more convenient apartment in Dubrovnik.

• RANDY (8/5): - If you want access to the Old Town, the location is outstanding. Tucked away in a corner of a narrow street, there are dining options right outside the door and you are just around the corner from the Pile Gate. The top floor level room is nice, but some of the pictures are misleading as to the layout of the bed and furniture. The low ceiling will be an issue for tall people but the room is cozy, clean and charming overall. The price is fair. There IS air conditioning, which was not listed on this site. Also, one of the most comfortable beds I've slept on. High recommendation from an experienced traveler. thanks RJS

The purple sofa needs a new futon. You could feel the metal underneath. One person slept on floor in a bedroom due to this situation.

I’m 6’2” and my wife is 5’11”, there are beams at an angle between the kitchen and living space so we had to duck to go from one side of the apartment to the other. And it’s located on the third floor without an elevator.

Host arranged a driver for us from the airport who took us to the city walls(no cars allowed further) and hostess met us there and walked us to apt.

• Christina (8/5): To visit the old town, this location is fabulous - The location cannot be beat, well equipped kitchen, very clean too. Jelena and her colleague who greeted us were very lovely! I was disappointed to learn one of the a/c’s was broken upon our arrival, so the children had an uncomfortable sleep in the living room as there was some loud music coming from somewhere in town so we couldn’t open the windows more 🤷🏼‍♀️

The property manager said she would be sure it is repaired. The apartment is convenient to everything! Bars. Restaurants. Sightseeing (take a tour with Guru Tours). The list of recommendations from the property manager led us to some very good places to eat!

The bed and pillows were incredibly comfortable—honestly, it's the best bed I've ever slept in! A nice bonus is that they have Netflix, so we enjoyed cozy movie nights after a day of sightseeing. Jelena was extremely helpful, offering great tips and advice. The owner was quick to respond as well. The entire place was spotless and well-maintained. Just needs hand wash on the kitchen sink.

• Rosanna (10/5): Absolutely perfect place in Old Town Dubrovnik! - We were greeted warmly by Beverly. The rental is very near the Pile gate, conveniently located to wander around Old Town, and meet tour activities outside Pile Gate. There were stairs, it is expected since this is Old Town, but they were manageable. The apartment had everything we needed for a week's stay. The kitchen was fully stocked with matching and clean cooking utensils, silverware, and plates, cups, etc that were not chipped. The fridge was a good sized one too! And all the trashcans were clean, inside and out! Trashbags were available, in case we wanted to dispose of our trash and recyclables. There was an extra supply of toiletry needs. The shower had great pressure and consistent temp. The bed was comfortable and the pillows were good - memory foam kind! There was a washer & dryer combo, which made it convenient for us. There was a dresser - and a "real" bedside table, with outlets by the bed too (lots of places do the minimum now, with just a plank as a bedside "table" - and no outlets!). Oh, and there was a luggage rack, which was a thoughtful touch by the owner! The living room had enough space to just relax. The place also felt really safe! And any question I had, Beverly replied in a matter of seconds! None.

Steps away from restaurants. The condition of the apartment was just as shown in the pictures. We also appreciated the little things like having a toothbrush holder in the bathroom.

• Sahar (5/5): Passable - The location was very convenient inside the old city. The apartment was clean. Host is responsive to issues. AC was not keeping up with the heat - the host looked at it immediately but was nothing to be done. It was set at 16 C, but the room felt super hot with 4 adults in it. It made the stay super uncomfortable. They had no fan to supply us with, which was quite disappointing. The apartment had 3 steep flights of stairs, which became tiring after a while. It's a loft with a low ceiling. You constantly had to be ducking your head even as a 5'2" person - I didn't think I'd care but didn't really love it.

We stayed 3 nights with half the lights broken in the apartment. 2. The apartment is in the attic of the building. For any regular adult you will have to duck to get around about half of the apartment. 3. The shower water gets cold if you have more than 2 people showering in a row. You will have to wait 20 min for the water to heat up again. Overall not a great experience and not sure where all the great reviews are coming from considering this is a very expensive room.
• Mark (9/5): Best value for a stay in the Old Town - Incredible value for an apartment right in amongst the old town. And tremendous facilities. We thought we had a problem (turns out it was entirely ’user error’ but the hosts jumped it in straight away with the solution. Strong recommend. Beware it’s in the roof, so the ceiling is low in places, but that is overwhelmingly compensated by the quality of the apartment and the location.

• Sho (10/5): Perfect location - Location is perfect, centre of the old town, good distance to Banje beach, near the Taxi pick-up point in front of Pile Gate. Jelena is really kind! Although it is needed to go up the stairs to the room at 2nd floor, the big advantage comparing with other hotels is we can arrive at the apartment without any stairs from the Pile gate.
