- Callan (6/5): Low ceilings (in some rooms?!) - It had quite a lot of space for the price paid with separate living area to bedrooms allowing me to do some work in the evenings. I’m tall - 197cm and the room we had, the ceilings were only 3-4cm above my head. I couldn’t stand in shower fully. My wife and kids didn’t mind the low ceilings but I hated it. We were mostly there in the evenings to sleep and only for 2 nights so could manage.
- Caroline (9/5): Good proximity to tourist attractions and amenities. - The location of the apartment was fantastic. Close to attractions such as the V&A and Natural History Museum. Additionally the apartment was close to underground stations letting us easily explore London. It was close to Kensington Gardens and was walkable to Portobello road, there were also lots of options for restaurants in the surrounding areas and also supermarkets so we could self cater meals.
- Sophie (9/5): This apartment is a lovely hidden gem. Would definitely recommend - We stayed in the superior apartment for 1 night as a group of 4 adults and a newborn. The apartment was really lovely and met all our needs. We arrived after reception hours but getting the key cards was a very simple process at the front door. We were on the top floor and couldn’t hear anything from the outside noise at night. We had a double bed and 2 singles (and a cot as per request). The apartment was really accessible and close to lots of attractions. In the evening we walked down the road to an Asian restaurant which was fantastic, there is also a Nisa supermarket a few metres from the apartment. We would definitely recommend this apartment and would use again. The only issue is that we weren't provided with any sheets or blankets to use for the sofa bed - this wasn’t an issue for us luckily, however we had planned to sleep separately if our newborn had been unsettled.

Ze śniadań nie korzystaliśmy. Polecam 1 rolka papieru toaletowego na 4 osoby wprawiła nas w rozbawienie. Przy takiej cenie za zameldowanie troszkę to śmiesznie wyszło. Poza tym ok.

It wasn't clear from the listing that the master bedroom was on a mezzanine floor (some people may have trouble with stairs) and therefore had little privacy, which was disappointing. The double bed in this room was two singles pushed together, again, a bit of a shame. Also, for the money we paid, we would have expected some tea bags and coffee pods for the coffee maker. We had to buy these from reception. Providing a coffee maker without a single pod seems stingy. Nespresso pods were £1.50 each at reception, or a full box was £6. We paid over £500 for the room for one night, and felt that a few teabags and coffee pods should have been provided. We were also concerned about security. The front door to the building has an automatic open-close function that takes a long time to close the door behind you when you come in. Non-guests could easily follow someone in to the building without being noticed. In central London, that's not great.

Also the TV was in German and it wasn’t a smart tv so you have no access to Netflix or Amazon prime. One would have thought that for the amount and location, a smart tv shouldn’t be an issue. They need to seriously look into that. Apart from the smart tv and the bed, everything else was perfect

The tiles in the bathroom had lifted due to poor installation and an attempt to make them safe with duct tape was made. Being in the bathroom industry myself, I know how dangerous this can be and so was very disappointed that the apartment was allowed to be booked to us in this state.

Check in was easy, reception was super helpful and the value was incredible compared to other London hotels (who provide less than half of the space too!). Hapimag felt like a real find and had the finish of a 5 star hotel, we were so impressed. Nothing. It was a fantastic property and a great experience.

Staff were friendly and helpful My understanding from the description on booking.com was that the Standard apartment was 2 rooms. I was travelling with a family member and we ideally required separate rooms to sleep in. The apartment we were given has a loft bed and a sofa bed, but both were in the same room and so we had difficulty sleeping at night. This was a pity as the apartment was lovely.
- Jacqueline (9/5): excellent location, very clean and spacious. - it was very clean and tidy and I really liked the decor.it was handy having a shop at reception that stocked all basics you would need, coffee machine included. though we booked for 2 adults and a child, when we arrived there was only one bed made which had 3 quilts & 3 pillowcases. the bed was 2 singles joined together so we slept with our child in between us. On asking I’m the morning they said the sofa bed was the child’s bed. which is good to know for next time. Only raising it here so parents can be mindful that if travelling with a child the child will have to sleep on the sofa bed. it may be handy to have this information when the booking is complete. No big deal at all and we really like the property and we’re happy with everything else so will come back again. PS- staff are wonderful!!

We also loved that the furnishings and decor were of high end quality. Having a reception area with an excellent team to assist and advise was also appreciated. And it was a bonus to store our luggage so as to enjoy our final day in the city. Nothing negative to report.
