- Philip (3/5): This hotel is rated a four star. We are seasoned travellers. Our rating would be a two star. Overrated and overpriced. - The breakfast area was well set out and comfortable. Pleasant early, overcrowded after 8.00am. Staff were not very helpful or empathetic to our concerns or requirements. The rooms were very small and quite congested. Breakfast options ran out early and were not replaced. The lift situation is dire. Basically, if we didn’t leave early it was difficult to get out. We waited over 20 minutes on the 16th floor and ended up having to walk down the stairs Checking out was far worse. We waited 30 minutes and had to travel up to the 44th floor to get to the lobby stopping at every floor on the way down.

- Aurore (8/5): Excellent séjour - Très bel hôtel, extrêmement bien situé à proximité de toutes commodités. Hôtel et chambre moderne et confortable. Petit déjeuner très bien Chambre très petite. Nul part où poser/ranger ses valises. Ça demande une gymnastique pénible chaque matin et chaque soir pour ranger et sortir le nécessaire. Ce n'est pas insurmontable non plus, mais pas plaisant. Il ne faut donc pas prévoir de passer du temps dans la chambre autrement que dans le lit

Personnel assez peu accueillant voire indifférent. Fausse alerte incendie en pleine nuit qui nous a fait quitter en précipitation la chamber à minuit !!!!!!

The staff is so unhelpful, so unwiling, so unflexible that I simply won't ever come back to this hotel. The room is beyond small, the AC and TV didn't work propertly and had to be fixed on our last day.

- GEORGIOS (10/5): Αξιόλογη πρόταση για διαμονή στο κέντρο του Μανχάτταν - Πολύ καλή τοποθεσία για όλα τα βασικά αξιοθέατα του Μανχάτταν. Με τα πόδια περπατάς σχεδόν όλη τη 5η λεωφόρο μέχρι το Central Park και με τη κόκκινη γραμμή του μετρό πας νότια προς το one world observatory και το battery απ’όπου παίρνεις το φερυ για το άγαλμα της ελευθερίας. Πρωινό ικανοποιητικό και πολύ καθαρά δωμάτια. Πολύ κοντά είναι το the Edge, το city walk, το Chelsea market το Macy’s για ψώνια, το Empire State Building και το Madison Square Garden. Αν έχεις όρεξη περπατάς και τη γέφυρα του Brooklyn όπου μπορείς να βρεις και λίγο πιο οικονομικές επιλογές για φαγητό

- Alina (10/5): - Perfect location. I took Air Train/LIRR from JFK and it took me 10 minutes to walk to the hotel from the Penn Station. Subway stations are one block away. But you can literally walk to most main attractions. Stores like Trader Joe's, The Whole Foods and Fairway are a couple minutes walk. Rooms are spacious and very clean. AC can indeed be noisy but I was lucky to not have to use it at night as the outside temperature was nice. Breakfasts are excellent. Staff is nice and helpful. The area seems clean and safe, and no crowds whatsoever. -

- Coraline (10/5): Super😍 - Nous avons passé un incroyable séjour (fin février). L’hôtel est très bien situé et est à deux pas des stations de métros. La vue du 42 ème étage est magnifique !😍 La chambre était faite tous les jours et propre. Le personnel est très accueillant. Le petit déjeuner est bien, je vous conseille d’y aller tôt le matin pour un petit peu plus de tranquillité mais nous n’avons jamais eu de problème à trouver une table libre. Je vous recommande à 100% cet hôtel. Nous reviendrons pour notre prochain séjour !

Nella prima camera l'aria condizionata era molto rumorosa (impossibile dormire), e dopo varie lamentele hanno prima tentato una riparazione che non è andata a buon fine e poi finalmente ci hanno cambiato stanza. Colazione molto basic, piuttosto scadente.

First room that was given to us was way too noisy and had no view, they did swap our room for last 3 days with no charge, which was better but the hotel must know which rooms are noisier and when a couple is staying 4 days why would they put us on a noisy room from day 1? Breakfast choices were ok but they could do with some Greek yogurt, also there was no English breakfast tea downstairs. Also paper bowls and cups cannot be good for the environment. Also the cleaning trolley was left outside the room for 4 days, so we had to squeeze past it daily. No visual indication as to which lift is arriving.

- Candice (9/5): Un sejour parfait - Vue exceptionnelle de notre chambre ! Nous ne nous lassions pas de la regarder. Les chambres étaient propres et correspondaient parfaitement à la description. L’hôtel est exactement comme sur les photos. Le personnel est très agréable. Le petit déjeuner était varié avec du pain de mie, des fruits frais, céréales, café, thé, jus de fruits, produits salés… et des choses changées tous les jours comme les pancakes, le pain perdu, les gaufres. La salle n’est effectivement pas très grande mais n’avons jamais eu à attendre pour trouver une table ni pour attendre l’ascenseur d’ailleurs… Le quartier etait idéal ! Chelsea est un quartier calme mais proche de tous les métros pour visiter toute la ville sans problème, un quartier vivant où on peut trouver des commerces (supermarché au bout de la rue, bars à 2 pas, divers restaurants et fastfoods autour, magasins de vêtements, etc..) L’hôtel dispose également d’un bar avec une loggia extérieure, il propose à manger aussi. Les prix sont corrects: ni plus cher ni moins cher qu’ailleurs. Le manque de rangement dans la chambre car pour 4 personnes et avec 6 valises en tout c’est un peu comme jouer à Tetrix. Mais cela ne nous a pas empêché de trouver un moyen de ranger nos affaires.

- Sofia (8/5): Perfect stay in Chelsea for a family, and very well connected - Perfect location in Chelsea, very well connected to metro stations and walkable distance from Flatiron and midtown. The beds were comfy and the room nice and cleaned daily. We had the King room which was quite spacious, with a window at the street and quick & easy access to the breakfast area as we were on the 4th floor. Best views of the city if you're on a top floor with view (they're simply incredible). Nice breakfast area that you could also sit during the evening for a drink or some food. The room with 2 double beds (if booked for 3-4 people) doesn't have space for the suitcases. It can get busy with the elevators around breakfast time, especially if your room is at a top floor. But it's not as bad as described, you'll definitely get one within 2'. Might be hard to find a table for breakfast (although they have 2 floors), but if you go early it's better.
- Luis (10/5): We will come back - We love the views from our room on the 33rd floor looking at the Empire State Building. Also the staff is wonderful, so professional and helpful they made us feel home. Waiting for the lift. Although we know this is a common problem in many New York hotels

When we booked, we were a bit sceptical about the size of the room (from our understanding that is a problem in many hotels there), but it turned out to be fine. The best of all was its amazing view to New York City!
