The decor and accommodations are fun and elegant at the same time. The price is a good value. Walter, the bar manager, is a delight. Not only did he ask if he could personalize a drink for me but he was interesting to talk with.

They decorated the room for us which was such a lovely surprise and really made her feel celebrated. The hotel itself was beautiful, clean and had such a great atmosphere, but it was the little touches and the kindness of the staff that made our stay unforgettable. Thank you for making the birthday trip so special — we’ll definitely be coming back!

- JennyB700 (10/5): Sophisticated and friendly hotel - The location offers excellent connectivity to both the Underground and the bus network, making it very convenient for getting around the city. The hotel itself is stylish and sophisticated, with a beautiful lounge area enhanced by a live DJ, creating a vibrant yet relaxing atmosphere. The staff were exceptional throughout our stay. The team at reception and in the lounge were warm, attentive, and highly professional. Although I unfortunately do not recall the names of the gentlemen at both the Welcome desk and the lounge/ dining area, I would like to extend my sincere thanks for such a kind and memorable reception. A special mention goes to Walter and the restaurant team. Walter’s friendly, cheerful, and engaging service truly stood out—he made us laugh and feel genuinely welcome. His hospitality added a personal touch that we greatly appreciated. Will definately come back!

Breakfast was pleasant with service from Molly and Rob. We have stayed at this hotel previously and it was a great touch being recognised. Check in was fab too but I’ve forgotten the name of the person who checked us in.

Toller Service mit Leihgabe von engl. Adapter-Stecker und sehr freundlicher Koffer-Service mit guten Tipps für die Rückreise zum Flughafen (Streik bei TfL). Tolle Dusche mit bequemem Zugang, Türe gegen rausspritzen und tolle Kombi von Regendusche und Duschkopf. Sehr klare und einfache Bedienung, guter Wasserdruck. Bett war für meine Zwecke zu weich; bevorzuge kleinere Einzeldecke statt so riesige Bettdecke.

Sleek design but also cosy boutique hotel, great for business meetings. Good dj set. Very clean. Espresso machine in room. Really nice and helpful staff. Great central location near subway line. FLUSHING TOILET IN ROOM. No water bottles in room. No entrance drive-in area or valet service (unlike at the Canopy in Cannes).

If you want to make it a very special occasion...ask for Walter at the bar. He made us a special anniversary drink based on our imbibed likes. Not only was it a great gesture, it was beautiful and DELICIOUS!! Thank you Walter for making our trip even more special!

- PK191919 (10/5): Marvellous - Superb hotel. Smooth and attentive check in, Chelsea was exceptional. The hotel has a great vibe, welcoming and chilled. All of the staff were super friendly and welcoming. This is one of the best Hilton’s I’ve stayed in. Room quiet and great view. Comfortable bed. The rooftop bar is stunning and well worth a visit. Breakfast was relaxed with great food. I genuinely love this hotel.

There were a few minor hiccups when I checked in, but management went beyond anything I ever expected in trying to make things right. And they succeeded. I have no reservations about leaving this establishment a five star rating. In particular, I want to praise the Assistant Front of the House Manager, Hemant Arora. He spent a lot of his valuable time listing to my verbose feedback, and he did an excellent job. I’m a retired executive, so I try my best to give businesses constructive feedback to assist them in refining their product or services. Of course, I only provide such feedback when such feedback is welcome. Hemant was the superlative professional. He gets an A+ I also want to note that Walter, who is a manager in their food service department also gets an A+. He went out of his way every day to talk to guests and ensure they are satisfied. He was charming and professional, a joy to see at breakfast every day I stayed here. Anyway, the hotel is beautiful, spotless, and attentively managed. I highly recommend

Bedragen gaan eerst van mijn rekening. Terug thuis staat het bedrag er terug op. En nu gaat er 1071,43 euro van de rekening. De bedragen kloppen niet

- Kandinsky88 (8/5): Pretty darn good! - First, we go to London “often”. This was our first stay at the Hilton Canopy. For the most part, it was excellent, especially the employees. The breakfast options were fresh and plenty and we enjoyed pleasantries each morning with the very kind Robert. We would have given the hotel 5 stars except for two things: 1): The pillows suck. They are those giant pillows that are neither down nor foam. But they did not have any alternatives for a flatter foam pillow. We stayed at this hotel for a week so it definitely affected our sleep. 2): The quality of the tissue and toilet paper could be better. They are rough and we felt it was not up to par for Hilton standards. Lastly, though we only ate in the restaurant for dinner twice, out of necessity, it would be nice to see a few more options on the menu. Maybe a chopped, chicken salad or another pasta dish. Overall, it was a very convenient, well located spot. The beds were very comfortable. And it was quiet on the 3rd floor, though I wouldn’t stay lower due to the weekend DJ in the lobby which seemed unnecessary but we understand could draw local business. Location of the hotel was excellent for our needs - literally down the street from the Tower Bridge. We would stay here again but probably bring our own pillows next time. 😊

The staff was friendly and courteous, and they even checked me in early. The Queen room was clean and big enough for my solo trip, with a nice view of the city. The fact that the room had a big mirror sealed the deal for me. The hotel had a good atmosphere with music, a gym, and good WiFi. I booked the breakfast-included option, and there were plenty of food choices in the buffet. Walter was exceptional. I will definitely be staying here again!

Service charge is really annoying when staff are paid good wages and we paid a lot of money to stay in the hotel. Our room was very good. Clean and well equipped. The bed, quilt and pillows made it one of the best beds we’ve slept in. Service charge should not be added to every bill, restaurant for breakfast and rooftop bar for cocktails. We paid a lot of money to stay here for two nights and the staff are paid good wages. Why the service charge is added as an additional tax is ridiculous. It should not be added automatically but an optional extra. Overall though, the hotel was good.

They are all very kind and helpful. Special shout out to Walter who is the breakfast in charge at penny square. He and his crew do an amazing job with smile on their faces. On the last day of our stay he arranged a special breakfast, such a lovely gesture on his behalf. Also shout out to Khan at the front desk. - 185rebeccaj (8/5): Great Stay in a Fantastic Location – Amazing Breakfast - I recently stayed at the Canopy by Hilton in London and had a really lovely experience overall. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well put together, and every staff member I encountered was friendly, helpful, and genuinely welcoming. The food was a real highlight of my stay. Breakfast, dinner and even room service were all exceptional. In fact, the breakfast options were some of the best I’ve ever seen at a hotel in the UK – a brilliant variety and really high quality. The hotel’s central location is another big plus. It’s close to so many key areas in London, and considering the area, the price was excellent compared to nearby options. My only downside was the air conditioning in the room. While the bed and room itself were very comfortable, the air con would only stay on for a few hours at a time. This meant the room warmed up overnight and I woke up feeling too hot, so I didn’t sleep as well as I’d hoped. A more consistent room temperature would have made the stay perfect. Overall, though, it’s a great hotel with fantastic food, superb service, amazing staff and an unbeatable location. I’d happily stay here again!

The room was spacious and beautifully designed. The breakfast and dinner were both excellent, with a great selection and high quality. The location is also very convenient — about 30 minutes to the city centre and around 30 minutes to the O2 Arena, making it a great base for exploring Greater London. We truly appreciated the upgrade – it made our experience extra special. We would definitely recommend this hotel and would love to come back again!

The hotel strikes a great balance between efficiency and comfort. The rooms are well-designed for longer stays, and the overall atmosphere feels relaxed without sacrificing professionalism. The breakfast offering is particularly well done, fresh, substantial, and flexible, whether you want something light or a full English start to the day. The coffee setup is also excellent and a welcome detail for frequent travelers. What truly differentiates this property, however, is the level of service. During a recent stay, I mentioned to the bar team a banana espresso martini I had enjoyed on a prior visit. Not only did they remember, but the next morning Walter went out of his way to follow up and brought us a breakfast version to try. It was an unexpected and thoughtful gesture that made the experience memorable—especially as I was visiting with my mother. In a city with no shortage of high-end hotel options, it is this kind of attention to detail and genuine hospitality that sets Canopy London City apart. A consistently reliable choice, with moments that go beyond expectations.

- 504travela (10/5): A fantastic experience from start to finish - It was my second time at the Canopy, and it felt great to be back! The upgraded room was stunning, especially with the beautiful views. The Floratica Rooftop was incredible, and the Taj Mahal signature cocktail recommended by the bartender was superb. A special thank you to Greg for assisting with amenities at the Front Desk, it was truly appreciated. All the staff were warm and friendly throughout my stay. I will definitely be returning again!

- chriscN5687GJ (10/5): A great place in London - great location and great service - Great location, friendly staff, right-sized room with a shower door that closes (cant stand the new trend-wet floors), delucious breakfast with lots of choices. Can't say enough good things. The staff at the bar were great too and Sam made some killer cocktails. You can tell there is good leadership at this place - very well-run and customer focused.

- Robbie (4/5): Not a good experience at all. - On arrival at nearly midnight a sullen, non-welcoming staff member informed us we needed ID and was adamant that it was ‘policy’ (repeated several times) that the person booking had to be there. What????? We had to ‘phone my son who talked to the assistant but it could have been anyone! Have travelled the world for 50 years and this was entirely new! Breakfast: no friendly greeting on arriving, staff seemed poorly trained. Was told the alternative milk coffees were ‘round there at the bar’ while he continued his conversation with the girl also on duty. I could have asked politely if he would get it for me (I wasn’t leaving breakfast to go hunt for the bar and carry a hot drink back!) but I’d had enough by then. I won’t touch on the other misgivings including being woken up by the window cleaners!

- Constanze (9/5): Modernes, sauberes Hotel - Moderne, große Zimmer vor allem für Londoner Verhältnisse. Es war sehr sauber, Betten waren sehr bequem. Frühstück war ok, aber für den Preis würde ich beim nächsten Mal auswärts frühstücken.

- Ottó Hólm (9/5): - Morgunmaturinn var mjög fínn, herbergin mjög rúmgóð og starfsfólkið til fyrirmyndar. Rúmin mjög mjúk og koddarnir mjög harðir á móti. Eina sem ég hef út á dvöl okkar að setja.
