And the shower wasn’t very proper, it was a little moldy. We also could hear every little noise from the street, cars, people talking, etc since our bedroom was the front one. I would say it’s a solid 7

Çolaksel (10/5): Number one in Istanbul - The location of the hotel is very good, you can take the tram five minutes away from the hotel and after two stops you are in Eminönü, with the bus stop five minutes away from the hotel you are in Taksim in 10 minutes, it is very close to touristic places, having a parking lot is a great advantage, the hotel is two minutes away from the beach and there are affordable or expensive restaurants where you can eat. The staff is very friendly and helpful, the rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable, I enjoyed staying here, from now on this will be my choice in Istanbul. -

Like for example the benefit 'view on the garden' does seem a bit fanciful, far-fetched even, 'cause there is no garden, it's just overgrown territory of the hotel. In my room was too little plugs, the most nesseary (near the bed) didn't work because of bad condition.

There is nothing other to like. Too many promises, too little delivered. There is no view, free room upgrade is a lie actually it's free room downgrade. The toilet looks so dirty, you worry to touch anything in there. If there were not so much promises it was like 5-6 but, since everything they tell is a lie I give 3.

The room could use an improvements. The bed was a little to small, and the shower head was not working properly. Also, there is the issue with the electricity. The room electricity works when you put the card in the card holder and then you can use all appliances. But if you leave the room you have to take the card so that means even the fridge stops working until you come back. This is not an ideal situation if you leave some food or something in the fridge, it will go bad. Also, the call to prayer can be heard through the balcony door even though it says it's the room is soundproof. And the entrance door has a small gap, you can see outside the room, that should be fixed.

Tereza (7/5): Good - The hotel is located in old part of Istanbul so it's always good to try to live there and experience its realness. It's also walk distance to Eminonu, the most famous mosques, Topkapi palace, markets and much more. The staff were very kind and friendly. It was super quiet during the night and in the morning the sound of muezzin calling for pray is going to wake you up couple of times, but it's fine, it's part of this beautiful city. For my taste, the room was dirty, but we didn't complain, for this price and standards in Istanbul it was kind of okay, anyway.

Location of the hotel is good in a sense that it is in a walking distance to main tramway/bus stations. Nice, lofty design of the rooms but wobbly door latches need to be fixed. Car parking lot available. Had a trip with a family, given a room next to reception. Small room, if you have luggage there is no enough room to step around. Very poor soundprofing, there was an argument at desk between receptionist and a couple bargaining for "one-night" deal and everything can be heart inside. You can hear a phone conversation of people, walking on the street. Does not feel like a safe neighborhood at night.

Виктория (3/5): Poor - Close location to public transport stops Very dirty rooms. Bed linen with stains. They clean badly. I found someone else's hair on the floor. Candy wrappers and other garbage from previous tenants were lying around the walls, in the corners. The pillows are not new and very uncomfortable. There is a construction site going on behind the wall, it is quite noisy and dusty. There is no sound insulation in the rooms at all. Even a quiet conversation in the next room can be easily heard. The shower stall is leaking. After complaining about this and moving to another room, the shower stall flowed there as well. There is always a puddle of water in the bathroom on the floor. Cleaning is not done every day, towels, shower gel and shampoo had to be requested from the staff. The heated towel rail did not work.

Otelde çalışan herkes yabancı. Ancak hepsi de güler yüzlü, yardımsever insanlardı. Otele dair onca olumsuz noktanın içerisinde en memnun kaldığımız tarafları çalışanları ve iç dekoruydu.
