Pulizia buona ma non eccelsa. Il problema fondamentale è stato riguardante i letti, eravamo in 6 avevamo 2 camere e un divano letto (di quello che si estrae l’allungo, dopo che siamo arrivate presso la casa abbiamo notato che il divano letto non era fatto non trovavamo le lenzuola e non c’era l’asciuga capelli, la risposta dello staff è stata dovevate comunicarci che volevate il Divano letto (avevamo fatto un check in per 6 persone probabilmente pensavano dormissimo tutte in due letti) e di cercare l’asciuga capelli perché era in casa… poi abbiamo avuto un intoppo valige ma abbiamo risolto con il Locker.

En masse restauranter, teater og butikker i nærområdet. Litt bråkete å sove i stua, mye trafikkstøy og andre lyder. Men tenker at det må man regne med når man bor så sentralt! De to soverommene vendte bort fra gata, og der var det roligere.

Estacion de Piccadilly a 2 cuadras. Además de esto, el aparamento está muy bien equipado, la cocina es increíble de grande, y con todas las comodidades, incluyendo lavaplatos y lavadora. Mucha luz y ventanales. Nada, todo es increíble. Lo único que podría molestar a alguna gente seria el ruido de la gente caminando en la zona hasta altas horas.

La situation aux portes de Soho est parfaite pour une visite de Londres. Tout est faisable à pieds. Le tapis du salon fait assez sale à force de passage. Le quartier est bruyant mais très animé. Défaut ou qualité cela dépend de ce que vous chercher. De notre côté nous avons apprécié

• Joanna (8/5): - Beliggenhet var fantastisk!!! veldig sentralt, spesielt bra hvis du er i London for en kort weekend og vil se mest mulig på kort tid. Men du må regne med litt støy fra en livlig gate utenfor. Leiligheten var romslig og ren, men sove fasiliteter i stua er lite egnet for voksne. Sovesofa er liten og lite bekvemt, uten overmadrass. Av den grunn bør ikke denne annonseres å passe for 3 voksne og et barn, eller 4 voksne. Det mangler et stede til å henge klær og jakker/kåper.

• Paul (7/5): Great location and Unit but beware of lift maintenance issues. - The location is great with four theatres within 100 meters.The 2 bedroom unit we had was quite large with separate kitchen and living area.Kitchen well equipped and unit was clean.We were allowed to leave our bags in the unit as we were early. The elevator was out of service for the 5 days we were there.we reported it on arrival and told they were waiting for parts so who knows how long it was out of service.we are aware older European properties don't have lifts but this was advertised as a feature we wanted and paid for in the price.Not being able to repair such in an a major international city within a a day or 2 is not acceptable and no updates were provided.All the new linen and cleaning supplies were then left blocking the narrow hallways as the cleaners would not drag the heavy bags up and down the narrow stairs.

• Natalie Page (1/5): Avoid this place - The apartment was clean. Apart from generally being a clean place it was a highly uncomfortable and unpleasant stay. I booked what was advertised as a property with 2 beds. There was only one. Not ideal at all. Staff on the phone refused to change the room. (Hotel is unmanned). The sofa bed was horrible. Metal frame digging into my back, and within minutes of being on the damn sofa bed the entire thing drifted into two pieces. It was awful. Worst "bed" - if you can call it that - I've ever had in any establishment in London. I'd have stood more chance sleeping standing up frankly. There was a hole in the floor next to the sofa. Evidence of old leaks on the ceiling. None of the lights work in the bedroom, whether that be ceiling lights or bedside table lights. It was cold and no heating would work. They advertised a balcony with city views, but there isn't one. The property is right next door to a brothel, so not great for families. There is no reception or staff present at the hotel. Booking.com customer service couldn't give a crap about a 2 bed property only having one bed and refused a refund, and didn't do anything satisfactory at all to resolve matters and neither did the property, which ruined our stay further. Despite the excellent location for theatres, I'd strongly advise you to stay elsewhere. Highly disappointing standard of service, misleading advertising and sub par standards of accommodation. L'appartamento è molto grande ed è perfetto per due coppie o per una famiglia. La cucina è dotata di tutto l'occorrente. Andrebbe fatta una pulizia approfondita dell'appartamento che era molto polveroso (soprattutto sotto i letti delle camere). Sicuramente il fatto che abbia le finestre sulla strada contribuisce ad un accumulo di polvere. C'erano delle formichine rosse che gironzolavano un po' ovunque nella camera lato strada.

• Natalia (1/5): Horrible - 24hrs prior to our stay I was contacted by email that our booking was no longer available due to unforeseen circumstances, where they had offered a different urban chic apartment in Floral Street. Lucky I had checked my emails before boarding my flight from Sydney to London, where I then called up to get clarity on the situation. The woman I spoke with was the absolute rudest woman I have ever had a conversation with, she was very dismissive and had absolutely no customer service skills. After reading reviews online I had seen that there was lots of steps to the alternate suggested apartment, I expressed that we had booked this accomodation as there was a lift and we were travelling with a family with young children and a lot of luggage and one of the 2 adults has back issues, I wanted to confirm roughly how many steps to the apartment which she responded “I don’t count them” when I asked if someone could help us with our luggage as I was boarding my flight within the hour and was landing in London at 9pm she said “no we can’t help you” then after saying that’s ok thank you for your help at the end of the call she responded with “yep”. And hung up. When arriving to our replacement property in floral street we were extremely underwhelmed with the accomodation we had received and disappointment as it was not on par with what we had booked - to top off our stay there was a MOUSE on the top level of the property so we were unable to utilise the living area or kitchen. Would never recommend Urban Chic Stays.

• Hema (1/5): These conditions made the stay extremely uncomfortable, unsanitary, and stressful. - location, central Here are the key issues we faced during the stay: 1.Rat Infestation – Health Hazard: We encountered a rat infestation multiple times during our stay, which is completely unacceptable. Two of our guests were sleeping on the couch, when the rat sneaked on the couch. This posed a serious health and safety risk. Although pest control was eventually sent, it only placed traps and did not resolve the problem. We were left unsure whether the rat(s) were truly gone, and had to avoid using the kitchen or bringing food into the home. That night, four people had to share one bed due to the situation, completely disrupting our sleep and comfort. The fact that this issue was not addressed until the next day shows a lack of urgency regarding guest safety. 2. Non-Functional Facilities: The en-suite sink was leaking. The shared toilet’s flush wasn’t working for over 12 hours one of the main reasons we booked this property was because it advertised two functioning bathrooms, which was essential for us traveling with in-laws. Despite a plumber supposedly visiting, the issue was unresolved, and to make matters worse, the bathtub was left open. 3. Lack of Privacy and Security: On multiple occasions, people entered the property without proper notice, and in one alarming instance, someone entered without knocking. This is a serious violation of our privacy and creates a very uncomfortable environment. 4. Management and Communication Issues: The local managers seemed unaware that a plumber had come to the apartment prior to them. This raised some serious concerns about the coordination and security of the property. We are shocked at the apparent miscommunication between staff. Additionally, our parents had raised the issue of entering without knocking with one of your staff members and was yelled at and had the door slammed once the person left.

• Frederic (10/5): I will definitely return to this apartment for future visits, and I highly recommend it. - We stayed at Urban Chic – Shaftesbury as a family of five for a long weekend and had a fantastic experience. The apartment felt like a stylish, well-equipped Airbnb and was perfect for a short stay in London. The location couldn’t have been better — right in the heart of the city, with everything within easy reach. The apartment was clean, spacious, and comfortable for all of us. We experienced a minor hot water issue, but the team responded quickly and fixed it without any hassle. Nothing to complain about — we truly enjoyed our stay!

So close to china town, Piccadilly Circus etc. the rooms are spacious and facilities are great. I travelled with 3 adult children and everything they needed was either in the apartment or a short walk away. I genuinely could not find anything that I didn’t like. It was perfect for our one night stay. The lift is small but very functional and quick. The noise from the street is not noticeable at all when windows are closed and even when open it was noce to hear the vibrant city.

It is across the street from Oliver the Musical, which I would also recommend. The mattresses could be a bit better. There is a lot of noise since it is a busy street, I would recommend bringing earplugs.

• Susana (7/5): Good - Good location, generally clean. Terrible sound insulation, which is a no go in the area. It is located in a main street and it's incredibly noisy until 3 a.m. Unlike other buildings, there is only a single window and not sound proof. We really struggled to sleep and rest.
• Ash (8/5): Exceptional location and good quality accommodation - Location is perfect and central It's a very busy place, but you have to accept that
• Melanie (9/5): Great location, central to everything and spacious appartment for family of 4. - Location is very central - right in the heart of west end (Les Miserable is across the road) due to being central, it can get noisy to the early hours of the morning. Has a lift. We travelled as a family of 4 with teens a used the sofa bed which was okay. Also had a washer/dryer which was great after a 6 day stay. The lift did not work when we arrived - meaning we had to carry 4 large suitcases cases up 3 floors. I raised this via email, and the lift was fixed the next day which was appreciated.
