They had a complementary coffee station in the lobby & a nice welcome treat in the room fridge upon arrival. Decent sized room compared to other hotels we stayed at in Japan. But the natural hotspring was absolutely the best amenity! This made our stay extra relaxing after hectic days out & about in this busy city. Thanks Dormy Inn for a wonderful stay!

- Seunghee (10/5): 편안하고 좋은 숙소 - 이케부쿠로 역에서는 좀 멀긴하지만 호텔까지 가는 길에 상점가가 많아서 재미있습니다. 당연하지만 직원들이 모두 친절해서 좋다고 느껴야하는 세상이 되었네요. ^^;; 엘레베이터 천장에 먼지 거미줄? 같은 게 있었고 객실 공기청정기를 작동했더니 냄새가 너무 심각해서 청결도는 별하나 뺐어요. (청정기를 껐더니 냄새가 안나는 매직) 도쿄에서 천연 온천탕을 무료로 이용할 수 있어서 행복했고 남녀 시간이 정해져 있지 않아서 편리했어요. 목욕 후에 무료 아이스크림과 요쿠르트는 극락! 무료 세탁기 유료 건조기 이용이 공용/여성전용 나뉘어져 있어서 기분이 좋았구요. 침대 매트리스는 시몬스입니다. 로비가 있는 1층에는 상시 이용 커피머신과 얼음머신이 있고, 15층에도 얼음머신과 전자렌지가 있어서 편리해요. 객실은 10대 후반 딸과 둘이서 사용했는데 도쿄에서 이 정도 크기의 객실이라면 꽤 괜찮다고 느꼈습니다. 제가 머무는 동안 호텔 이용객중엔 일본인들이 가장 많았던 것 같고, 그 다음이 중국인과 한국인이었던 것 같아요. 밤에 무료로 제공하는 소바는 꼭 드셔보세요. 너무 잘 지내서 행복했습니다

The only concern we had was that the pillows were so hard and not comfortable to sleep on. Other than that, this is a great hotel! It is so close to Sunshine City, a huge mall in Ikebukuro.
- Masako (10/5): - サンシャイン60から歩いて5分くらいの場所です。 ロビーに宿泊者限定の無料のコーヒーサービスがあります。 温泉は、千葉県の温泉水を持ってきているようで、室内の温泉水は黒、屋外の温泉水は透明です。打ち身、関節のこわばりなどに効果があるとの表示がありました。肩こりが取れました。 女性の温泉は、シャンプーとコンディショナーのセットが4種類くらいあって、ボトルがバスケットに入っています。シャワーヘッドはリファです。備え付けのクレンジングオイル、化粧水、乳液、ボディミルクはポーラのものでした。肌がしっとりしました。Panasonicのドライヤーで、髪がつやつやしました。 女性は暗証番号で浴室や洗濯室に入ります。 洗濯機は無料、乾燥機は20分100円でした。 温泉利用時間帯の夜にはミニアイス、朝は乳酸菌飲料の無料サービスがあります。 夜9時30分から11時まで、夜鳴きそば(私が利用した日は北海道の塩ラーメン)の無料サービスがあります。おかわりもできます。 朝食は2500円。冷やし中華もありました。 シングルを利用しましたが、ベッドが大きくても狭さを感じず、ゆっくり過ごせました。 冷蔵庫に、おもてなしとして、プリンとお水のペットボトルが入っていました。空気清浄機もありました。 館内は、ドーミーの部屋着とスリッパで過ごせます。ロビーにも行けます。 アメニティはロビーでもらいました。 最小限の荷物で泊まれ、とてめ快適でした。

- HO YAN (8/5): - 可以每天浸溫泉是最好的回復體力方法，可是酒店位置離鐵路比較偏遠，然而溫泉區還經常有大媽大聲說話，更過分的是有人沒有洗澡就入湯。酒店位置唯一好的地方就是近太陽城，可以乘搭機場巴士直達成田機場。

- MAN TENG (8/5): - 晚上十一點多才抵達飯店，櫃檯人員橋本先生好像是新進員工，不是太熟悉checkin 流程，大概半小時才拿到房卡，但親切禮貌，建議老員工多協助新同事，客人就可以早一點到房間休息。 地點距離車站大概走14分鐘路程，推行李箱的話會有點辛苦。 但是一向很喜歡Dormy Inn的飯店，有浴場、泡完後有冰棒、有夜間拉麵、豐富早餐，所以還是推薦給去池袋的人考慮入住。

The only big uncomfortable thing was that when I checked in, some of the staff women who spoke English didn't help or explain at all. She pointed at the check-in machine even though they had an information sheet about the hotel. She didn't tell me, looked angry, and made me uncomfortable, but I saw her smiling at a Japanese guest by that time. However, other staff members are pretty kind and pleasant.

- Cinnabonbella (10/5): Favourite hotel in Tokyo! - Dormy Inn is an upmarket chain and we've stayed in a few while travelling Japan. The best of them have traditional Japanese onsen, like this one, which is an excellent way to get a cultural experience without leaving your hotel. The staff here speak great English and are helpful. Rooms are soundproofed and the bed is great. It's a walk from Ikebukuro train station but the perks of the hotel make it worth it. As you would expect with Tokyo the rooms are on the small side compared to what you would find travelling in Europe and America. The limited square metres are deceptive as rooms have a practical layout, so you have everything you need. Thanks for a lovely stay!

- Lan (10/5): Comfortable and Central! - Our stay was amazing! The onset was very relaxing and everything was super clean! This hotel is also very central to major stations and lots of things are within walking distance. I think our only thing to note is that the pillows are a bit on the harder side, but other than that our stay was very comfortable!

- yu hon (10/5): 會再次光顧！ - 位置座落池袋比較寧靜的區域，距離車站10-15分鐘走路的路程，十分便利。 房間比較小，跟丈夫兩個人帶了兩個大行李箱，勉強才能打開，但十分清潔，最驚喜是溫泉浴場，同層更有一個漫畫角落，並提供免費雪條給顧客享用，讚！

- Matthias (8/5): - Zimmer war schön, aber klein, ist aber normal für Tokio. Onsen war toll und es gibt eine Kaffeemaschine im Eingangsbereich sowie Zahnbürsten etc. was alles gratis ist. Das einzige was sehr schlecht ist sind die Kissen. Sehr hart, man liegt wie auf einem Stein und es gibt keine anderen, geht gar nicht!
- ??? (8/5): - ドーミーインは大浴場が魅力の一つで、こちらのホテルも多分に漏れず快適でした。風呂上がりのドリンクバーやアイスのサービスもありがたいです。歩き疲れた身体を癒すにはもってこいです。ただ立地的には池袋駅から少し歩くのでこちらを選ぶ際はその点はご注意下さい。
- Nikoletta (8/5): Small room, but great value for money - While the hotel room is small, it’s all you need if you are spending most of your time exploring. The hotel was clean and had amenities readily available and staff were great. Our group also took every advance of using the Onsen as it was an equipped with a bath, sauna and cold plunge.

This room would be adequate for 1 person. We could not get a larger room as the inn was fully booked.Reccomend booking a larger room for 2 people.

- yakyu (10/5): 6 day stay was terrific - 10 minute walk to Ikebukuro train station. Easy to find. Breakfast in the morning was excellent. Lots of Japanese foods, some Chinese, and some western. Scrambled egg was too soft for my wife but they will make a cheese omelet or scrambled egg upon request. Japanese bread toasted is amazing! Drinks included green and brown tea, coffee, and sodas. Rooms were clean. Shower pressure was strongest I've ever experienced! Bidet toilet... marked in Japanese but easy to use. Air conditioning was a bit difficult to figure out. Used laundry facility on the 15th floor. Washer was free. It automatically adds detergent. Dry is 100 yen for 20 minutes. We had a big load so it took about 30 minutes for all the cloths to dry. Service was OUTSTANDING. Some of the staff speaks English, Korean and Chinese. Only issue that I ran into was the Priceline said breakfast was included. But when I got there, they charged extra for breakfast. After much discussion going back and forth we determined that the price that I paid for breakfast was not an additional fee. Although Priceline indicated that it was included, at the hotel, I could have chosen not to have the breakfast and pay a lower hotel fee. The price I paid for the breakfast was well worth it.

- Pauline (10/5): - Onsen in the morning and onsen at night...YES PLEASE! Woke up in the morning for fresh coffee (Machine makes delicious coffee but opens from 6 am-11pm). Went to the onsen for my morning hot/cold plunge....Ikebukuro Station is about a 10-15 minute walk...walking distance to a plethora of restaurants/shops....easily access Shibuya/Shinjuku or anywhere from the subway...free probiotic drink in the morning, ramen after 9:30 pm, ice cream in the evening....shampoo/conditioner/lotion is amazing at the onsen....the hotel room is small- walk in and there is your bed and little room to walk around and don't bring lots of luggage...but shower is big enough and at this budget price, its so worth it! Very convenient place to explore Tokyo on a budget...I would opt to stay here due to the onsen availability period. It's so relaxing to cold/hot plunge and be nourished by minerals.....my favorite restaurant in the area was Gyukatsu Motomura in Ikebukuro, no wait at all while the one in Shibuya always has long lines. I would definitely stay here again or any Dormy brand Inn!

- Ho Fung (10/5): 值得一住！ - 房間雖小，五臟俱全。幸好得到尾房，空間稍大。酒店有提供很多環保選擇，包括推廣不更換床單選擇，自取房間用品等。職員態度友善，尤其很喜歡在餐廳工作的杉木先生，每天看到他總是精神奕奕向客人打招呼和提供一流早餐給客人，感覺很好。溫泉很好，有特色，溫度適中，不會過熱。又有提供夜宵麵食給客人，讚！

The cleaning service was great, and the hot bath is pretty good. Overall a great budget hotel in Ikeburkuro if you don't mind the long distance from any train station.

- Yuko (10/5): サービスの多さに感動！リピ確定👍 - 初めて利用させて頂きました。池袋から徒歩7分、ホテル到着までの間にはたくさんのコンビニもあって、館内にはウェルカムコーヒーまで、嬉しかったです。温泉も翌朝10:00まで利用できるので、これは本当に助かりました。温泉のロッカーが小さいので、室内に用意されているお着替えを着けて温泉へGOが良いですね。タオルも部屋の中の物を利用です。温泉内には備えつけ貸し出しタオルは無いです。また、脱着スペースが小さいので モタモタしていると他の利用に迷惑をかけてしまう感じもありました。温泉には2種類あって、どちらも最高です！空を見上げながら入れる温泉も！真っ黒な天然温泉も！アイスクリームもサービス！ヤクルトも！ラーメンも！本当に最高でした。朝食08:30済ませて温泉へ行き10:00までゆっくり入り、チェックアウト11:00なので、本当に最高！是非またお世話になりたいと思いました。私の部屋にはシャワーしかありませんでしたが、使わず。セミダブルのお部屋でスペースもゆったり。鏡も多くてなんだか女子には嬉しいお部屋でした。冷蔵庫にはサービスのミネラルウォーターとお菓子も！朝食も種類が多くて、【本日のオムレツ】というのも個別で注文すると作りたてを出してくれました('無料)。オススメなホテルです♪。

- Richard (10/5): Good stop to rentacar and go north - Quiet and convenient location as we plan to drive a car to go to nikko. Toyota rentacar is just next door and highway entrance is round the corner. Hot spring is of good quality but many foreign travelers didn’t observe the rules. Some dipped towels into the onsen pool. Some kept rubbing their bodies as if their own bathtubs. The water was made dirty.
