• Veronica (9/5): Country Vibes are a Win! - Really fun stay, great cowboy country vibe and entertainment at the rooftop bar. Beautiful pool area with spacious seating options. Bar at the pool is not open during the day, and the lobby bar was not the easiest place to order from when at the pool. If this was improved it would be a perfect stay. Not a huge deal though.

• Ruriko (5/5): 良いと悪いの混同で複雑 - 部屋は綺麗だし、ドリンクサービスもあるし、場所も最高です。 8階でしたが、火曜辺りから屋上(9階)週末までBARとダンスクラブがあり、真下のフロアはダンスの足音と大きな音楽が夜中の2時まで響き渡って寝られません。耐えられないくらいの音です。低層階でほうは大丈夫らしいので、泊まる時は低層階で！！ただ屋上のバーは長め、ドリンク、フードどれも最高なので複雑です。

• Mihai Madalin (10/5): Safe, clean, modern and within walking distance to everything - Location and modern furniture style Music can get a little loud but it is called the Volume. We didn’t mind it too much but I can see it being an issue for some people
• Josephine (8/5): great location, great vibes - I loved the location, the vibe, the style/decor, the room design and the staff. It’s modern, sleek and trendy. Finally a hotel that understands the practicality of offering hooks on the wall, and plenty of hangers. The bathroom was small but very well laid out. loved the floor to ceiling window. I couldn’t figure out how to monitor the temperature, so nights were a bit hot. Also, a small fridge would really be appreciated. One final thing to note is on Saturdays, they have line dancing. The music/noise is minimal, but my room was on same side as the dance floor, three floors down, and the stomping could be felt strongly! It finished around 9:30pm.

Otelde konaklayanlara 20$-25$ yapabilirlerdi. Otel etrafında çok fazla evsiz var. Oda çok küçüktü, içinde elbiseleri koyabileceğimiz bir dolap yoktu. Buzdolabı yoktu. 6 adet askı vardı onu asacak yer çok küçüktü. Ayna sadece banyoda ve giriş kapısının arka duvarında vardı. Banyoda havalandırma yoktu.
• Suzanne (10/5): I’m a fan of the property, people, and ambiance. - Smaller yet designed with a conscience, great people, great menu, fun bars, chill and quaint yet big on everything available including great roof top deck. I love a view, my bedroom had a view of Downtown LA, and the rooftop always an amazing sunset. If you don’t sleep through noise and you happen to be under the dance floor you may feel like all are country two-stepping until 2am on your pillow.

• Joan (7/5): I would use a hotel again. My overall experience was very good. - The cleaning ladies were amazing! Great location Great coffee bar Friendly staff in all areas! Easy in and out. Elevator is also available. The gentleman that checked me in was NOT very helpful. Brief explanation of things. I felt like I was inconveniencing him. When I heard other customers check in with different staff & the information they were getting, I realized how much I didn’t know. I used their information to my advantage. I do not like the surprise of an extra $35 per day when I checked in
• Ana (1/5): Greediest hotel I’ve ever stayed at. - Not much They don’t even have water, refrigerator or coffee in the rooms. Supposedly there’s complimentary coffee but that’s not true, I paid $5 for a tiny americano. It was insanely loud all night. If bare minimum was a hotel, this would be it. Greedy doesn’t come close. Pool also has no water station, it’s like everything is just run down and you even pay $8 for a freaking water.

The rooms are compact but comfortable, the staff is very friendly and accommodating, and there are more amenities than you would expect for a small hotel. The location is incredibly convenient. That being said, t - The location was great and had a great restaurant on property. The bed was super comfortable and the rooms were nice. The staff was so sweet and nice - best part of the stay. Did not appreciate no coffee in the room or any complimentary coffee on property. Also, our bathroom was not well maintained. The floor was warped from water damage and the toilet was uneasy to sit on, seemed like a damaged bathroom.

• suxb2025 (6/5): Loud! - The hotel is very clean and nice. The bathroom is a little funky because it’s made of glass so you can hear everything. But it’s so loud! Our room was overlooking the hotel restaurant and at around 1:30am we could hear loud music and people essentially parting… and it was a Wednesday night. Also the room has multiple blinking lights all night so if you’re light sensitive bring an eye mask. Overall disappointed with the loudness and brightness. Disrupted my sleep and I paid almost $300 for the room. Also they charge you a BS “destination fee” that they say covers chips and salsa, tickets to the Chinese theater and a $15 food voucher from the hotel.. I’d rather spend my money on food and locations I actually want to go to. Overall appears very nice but these things were very annoying and inconvenient. I’ll probably stay somewhere different next time.

• Maximo (3/5): - The location was good. The experience at the hotel was not as expected. The room was very small and did not even have a wardrobe, which made the stay uncomfortable. The cleaning service, which was supposed to be done every day, was only carried out twice. In addition, the walls are very thin and you can hear all the noise from the neighbors, which made it difficult to rest.

• Nicholas (4/5): - The room appeared to be clean at check-in (to be fair it was a quick glance) minus minimal scuff marks here and there but the day of our checkout we were discussed by dried blood stains on the sheets that appeared to be there for weeks to months and definitely should have been taken out of rotation Additionally the fees added were higher than Expedia stated more than double thankfully included parking which is mandatory unless you took a shuttle or taxi one plus is you are allowed in and out privileges through out each night you are planning on parking however one thing to mention is to be careful when handling you keys to valet although staff was very good we had a random person off the street try and take our keys as we were walking up to valet I just ignored him and handed it directly to the valet Overall maintenance up keep was concerning when we got there we saw flowing water as if a pipe burst which we believe did happen our shower handle was stuck and we had no working tv that just claimed “Volume coming soon” the positive aspect was the people oriented culture Staff was excellent
• Maria (6/5): - My husband and I took our 22 year old daughter to a show at The Palladium. Friends of ours were staying at The Volume and suggested we stay there too. We were only staying for one night and it was walking distance to the venue, so we said let’s do it. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. The only negative was that the rooms were tiny!!

• Donn (6/5): - POOR! First, call the property directly instead of a 3rd party provider so you can make sure you are not subject to "certain" fees from reserving online. 2. Don't stay on a Monday if you are looking to experience the hotel restaurant - It's not open. Bummer, reviews were decent and said "Bar" was open. Actually meant lobby bar, with limited offering! Dissappointed I could not get my very basic Lemon Drop Martini. Instead I ordered what was a horrid Margarita. 3.Room: Tiny, no closet, or small dresser! We literally were spinning in circles as to where to place our belongings. NO space for "getting ready". Sheets old soils! Yuck. Only hangers on wall to hang our clothes. Looked like a laundry room 4. Bathroom: (I will try not to be graphic) Above toilet wall were 2 dirty hand prints spread apart - No, this was not maintenance doing work. I noticed while changing in the claustrophobic space near the toilet. I wanted to vomit and question how housekeeping could have missed this. I cleaned & sanitized the wall myself. Pretty disgusting. Some good... 1. Rooftop pool nice, but slick decking. I fell. 2. ALL of the staff IS VERY friendly! However, at check-out no one asked how our stay was, so we did not fuss. But, here is the review. We travel a lot! Should have stayed at the Hilton. We felt we did not fit this particular independent boutique "soft brand".

• Dara (10/5): Muy buena experiencia✨ - Me encantó el recibimiento, en general todos fueron muy muy amables. Las camas y almohadas son un sueño! Se duerme excelente. La piscina y zona de rooftop maravillosa aunque importante tener en cuenta que es un lugar de mucha fiesta de jóvenes así que importante si van en familia solicitar una habitación en la zona “tranquila” del hotel y no contar con usar la piscina después de las 5 aprox los fines de semana ya que está muy lleno y un ambiente muy de fiesta. Ubicación muy buena, cerca de Hollywood boulevard y estación de metro Hollywood/Vine. El alojamiento tiene un muy buen gimnasio, con todo lo necesario para entrenar y las personas de la limpieza fueron muy amables con nosotros. La habitación no cuenta con armario ni con cafetera/hervidor y el tema de la cantidad de personas y jóvenes de fiesta en el hotel, al inicio fue un poco abrumador, pero como en nuestra habitación no se escuchaba nada, estábamos muy tranquilos y muy a gusto en nuestra estancia.
• Manaswi (8/5): - The room was clean and well-maintained. The staff were helpful. The location is great if you wanna enjoy Hollywood and other neighboring touristy things. However, the rooms aren't very sound-proofed and this is not the sound from the music from the rooftop or ground floor but sound coming through other rooms. Overall the experience was good for a one-time visit.

• Marianne (10/5): Clean, fun for a young crowd - Loved the room: clean and comfortable. Only wish there was a coffee maker in room and that the noise level (music) from downstairs restaurant was lower. Definitely catering to a younger crowd. Very friendly staff!
• Richard (8/5): It was an enjoyable stay with several good dining opportunities near to the hotel - . Room cleaning was slow to be completed each day but was good when done . Reception staff were great & really helpful . Pool area on roof top was good . Good location for getting around Hollywood. Comfortable bedding and fabulous big screen TV On site food offering was moderate . Outdoor restaurant was lovely but very expensive & rather limited in choice . No drawers or wardrobe space in Room so hard to cope on a 9 days stay ! Room Service wasn’t really an option & no table or chair in the room - just a stool !
• Nina (4/5): - The rooftop bar was closed for 2 nights out of the 3 that I stayed here for private events. Not acceptable that residents at the hotel could not use the bar because of non resident private events!
• Alec (4/5): Not living up to expectations - Hotel was nice to look at but ran very poorly. $15 food and beverage couldn’t be spent on beverage after we were told it could leaving us with the full bill to pay. Complimentary coffee as promised ended at the start of the month. Pool is 3 foot deep surrounded by beds all covered in towels. Parking was robbery. Zoe on the front desk was very nice though

• William (10/5): - I liked being close to Hollywood walk of Fame, Amoeba music, Chinese Theater. Just a lot going on. It's been a fun time.

• Fabio (7/5): Zentral, am Puls des Geschehens aber dennoch erholsam. Würde wieder buchen. - - Top Lage - freundliches Personal - gemütliches Ambiente - coole Rooftop-Bar - Tür hatte am Boden einen genug grossen Spalt, dass man den Luftzug enorm gehört hat. Konnte nur durch ein Badetuch gestoppt werden. Daher genügend Badetücher vorhanden waren, hat dies dann nicht weiter gestört. Das Personal wurde informiert. Wahscheinlich hat es sich um einen Einzelfall gehandelt. - Coktails und andere alkoholische Getränke an der Rooftop-Bar waren für die Qualität sehr teuer.

• Mike (8/5): Very convenient location and comfortable stay - Location was absolutely perfect, walking distance to Hollywood Boulevard, staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. After a long flight from Australia our room was ready. The lovely man at reception gave us a room away from any music etc. Bed comfy. Room was very clean. It was overall a comfortable stay. Room was very very small. No fridge, limited food options. Having said that we were only there 3 nights, lots of restaurants close by to eat at.
• Armand (8/5): - Overall, I enjoyed my stay and would recommend. The staff was great as was the food at Ka'Teen. Obviously, Hollywood isn't the greatest when it comes to homelessness but you can only do so much. It would be cool to receive some insight regarding additional dining/activities upon check-in.

• Ronald (10/5): - Breakfast was exceptional. Very busy though. Restaurant for dinner was convenient and the food was great. Hotel is very close to UCLA and the Getty museum.
• RKPtraveler (2/5): Loud, tiny rooms, poor insulation and dirty. - To say this is one of the worst hotels experiences I’ve ever had says a lot after hundreds of property stays says a lot. Check in was actually pleasant. I booked an upgraded patio room. It looked nice online. The good stopped there. Hallway - stinks like old food. All rooms are laughably tiny. No closet or even a space. A random sink that is comically small. My room had a king bed and that’s about all. The cheap plastic tile floor was bubbling and my socks were black from walking on the floors. But wait more low quality. The handle door to the patio just fell off when I open the door. The best part is the constant thumping of noise from the restaurant down below. I was advised the sound will be thumping until 11:30 PM at night. Want room service - good luck. After calling the front desk 5 times I was advised room service is limited to after 5pm. The rooftop is a college age hangout with thumping music and people in costumes crowding the lobby. This is just part of the frustration. I’d suggest sleeping in your car. Save the money and also be quieter and the service would be better. At best it should be upgraded to a homeless shelter.
