Stephen (8/5): Great Location. Good Room - Great location. Room was Hotel advertised free WiFi. It was unnecessarily complex to use, and the voucher provided didnt work. They do not have a full time onsite manager, and the manager did not respond to messages and questions sent via Booking.com. My summary is that its a great location and good room, but if you need any assistance whilst there you are on your own.

Awesome spot for wing foiling right from the property. Staff was to call a taxi for a certain time and had not done so. Had to wait an extra half an hour.

Elizabeth (3/5): Not worth the price, dirty and uncomfortable - It was very dirty and the bed was horrible. AC was broken in one of the rooms. Too expensive for what it is. The beds, sheets were horrible. The apartment was dirty. Felt very uncomfortable. So expensive. But it's close to the airport.

Faith (8/5): Good location, very helpful staff, clean. - Our gentleman host was wonderful, even providing transportation to get food after a long travel day. There is a beach right outside the door! I would have preferred one larger bed, but it was a comfortable stay, I slept well.
John (7/5): Basic, rural and not much fun . - Although the residence was close to where I needed to be for work, there was nothing nearby to buy provisions The apartment was pretty rundown and basic, to say the least. The television had wires hanging out, and it didn't work. The location was away from any amenities and was an add-on for residential students. As I was working nearby, I did not mind too much, but for a holiday, I wouldn't stay here.

Alexandra (4/5): Am afraid won’t be visiting this place again / very disappointing. - Not a lot. beds were comfortable and accommodation roomy. Very disappointed with welcome and lack of knowledge around the area. Breakfast ordered was far beyond expensive for what little it was.
Cleo (5/5): Very disappointing - Jerry who checked us in was really nice and two lovely restaurants in walking distance. He taxied us to the airport the following day, 5mins away. He also offered to take us to a restaurant for breakfast. We had a large bottle of water in the fridge. They can’t call it a hotel as there is no lounge and check in is a separate small building outside, so nowhere comfortable to sit with a coffee while waiting to go to airport for flight. Studio was very old and the bed was so uncomfortable. We had no towels apart from a hand towel. The TV didn’t work. No lift and had to carry cases up to the third floor. I also have to say that we booked this completely by mistake due to the red telephone box as there is also one at Anna’s on The Beach at Dickinson Beach. So totally our fault that we booked this place.
Joanna (4/5): Disappointing - Gerry, the caretaker was very helpful. Very close to the airport. This is not a hotel and did not meet expectations. The room was at the back of several blocks, and was in need of refurbishment. There is no reception so you need to call the caretaker on arrival to get the keys. The majority of apartments seem to be used for residential use or for students at the local university. As mentioned before, there are two restaurants nearby but they are not always open. There are no communal spaces or facilities that you would associate with a hotel, so I am not sure why it is listed as a hotel rather than apartments.

Anabel (6/5): Pleasant - If you’re looking for a disconnect and quiet, peaceful time is location is perfect for that. The staff nice. The apartment is right in front of a beach, which is nice and convenient. If you’re going to go swimming, the apartment is very Spacious. It is located in a very isolated area so I would recommend that you have your own transportation. The mosquitoes are abundant to be sure to have mosquito repellent. They literally move in with you every time you open the front door. The supplies in the apartment are very limited so you will have to buy your own if you’re staying for longer than a week

Camille (8/5): A great place for a quick stop over with the family - It was the perfect location for an overnight stop over in Antigua ahead of flying to another island the next morning. The staff were extremely helpful and the rooms were perfect for what we needed them for. It was also beautiful to look out onto the sea in the morning. The air conditioning in one of the rooms didn't work on arrival, but it was fixed quickly! We would also have enjoyed the hotel to have food, either at a restaurant or a small shop, but this wasn't advertised so we weren't too disappointed and there were places nearby where we could eat.

Elizabeth (9/5): Stunning location, great hotel! - Great hotel in a stunning location! The beach is beautiful and the rooms walk straight out onto the beach. We were only here for a night for a flight layover, but couldn't have asked for a more beautiful location to stopover. Staff were friendly and helpful and it was great to have the option of a 3 bedroom room that fit us all in.

Very responsive and helpful The unit was not comfortable in the sense of the following. Poor pillows on the bed. We did take the other two from the other room. The furniture in the family room was dated and dingy. The apartment is indeed best for college students. The price we felt was too high. Much higher than resort units we visited. Washer did not work. Jerry did get us access to another units washer. Wifi never worked. Jerry tried to connect, yet unsuccessful.

Especially Feona who handled our booking. We ordered external food to be delivered to the room and the venue provided us on payment two very seriously large lavish continental breakfast trays. Found this on booking.com at last minute. Our British Airways flight from Antigua to Aruba was delayed almost 23 hours so this venue came to our rescue. Thanks very much.

Christine (9/5): Clean, roomy place for a short stay with a group - nice-sized rooms, quiet setting, convenient location near the airport, friendly, helpful staff who gave us a ride to a restaurant for dinner! no open restaurants within walking distance, lots of seaweed on the beach. We likely wouldn't have stayed there if we knew all of the local restaurants were closed in August.

But the floors were not super-clean (dusty and some dead cockroaches). Also, the common-room area (kitchen/living room) was okay, but not somewhere I'd choose to hang out. The porch was nice, but the ancient white plastic furniture was not what is depicted in the photo. This is expensive and not at all luxury.
Kim (6/5): - I don't think you should call this property a HOTEL as it certainly isn't, it should be a MOTEL / apartments, without any available facilities, I assumed it was all attached to a hotel, where we could go and get an evening meal on arrival or breakfast before our departure, but there was nothing. the manager was very nice and the views lovely. there was a putrid smell of rotten something in the air, it could of been all the washed up seaweed but I'm not sure.

Obs: há apenas 1 único restaurante perto que dá pra ir a pé, então é melhor alugar um carro pra comprar alimento e conhecer melhor a ilha 🏝️

If I was staying longer I would get a rental vehicle so I could go to the supermar - Everything great and Neil very friendly and helpful. second time I’ve stayed here. A lot of seaweed on the beach, but it’s all over the Caribbean this time of year. It’s a bit far from any amenities if you don’t have transportation, but I was in transit so perfect being close to the airport. Plenty of options for food delivery services. Neil has a few basic food items for sale which helps.

It is ideally located close to the airport and has a marvellous beach view. Renting a car is a great way to get around for great dining and seeing the areas beaches and landmark. Neil have great advice.

It was nicely appointed, had all of the amenities that one would need! The apartment was spotless and clearly care was taken with great bedding and linens. The waterfront location cannot be beat! The nicest feature was Neil, who was extremely accommodating and sorted out any thing we needed. This included dining recommendations that were walking distance and wonderful information about the island. We are very thankful that we chose to book our stay at the Lord Nelson!
