- Emmanuel (10/5): -
Nulla
- Adel (10/5): Lovely stay in Rome - Domus Villa Romana was our home away from home - We loved the location and the interior. It was handy to have a washing machine as it was 40 degrees in Rome during our visit.
Very good communication from the host from start to finish. We didn't realize when booking that the views from the rooms are not very pleasant. The apartment inside and the interior are amazing but the room windows open onto a shabby court yard in the back. No natural lights in the apartment unless you are happy with the views.
- Álvaro (7/5): Good - Location is quite good, close to city center and Rome Termini. Neighborhood is so quite. Bed linen and towels need to be replaced. Many house items need to be renew and more maintenance. Sofa is uncomfortable.
- Anonymous (10/5): Good appartment at centre of Rome. - GOOD CONTACT, BIG AND NICE APPARTMENT, KITCHEN FUĹLY COMPLETED. SHOWER LITTLE BIT SLOW, NOT FULL HOT WATER POWER AT BATH ROOMS, FLOOR SWEEPED BUT LONG TIME NOBODY WASHED FLOOR.
- Effat (8/5): Very good - Very Nice Apartment, really big (all rooms+ bathrooms), clean The water pressure was not good. One oft the Showers was broken
- Liviu (10/5): Exceptional -
- Robert (7/5): Fine for what we needed. - Convenient location. Nice decor. Limited hot water. Wood floors buckling. Leaky shower doors and loose fixtures.
- Humphrey (7/5): Good - Beautiful apartment, good location! Advertised AC, didn’t have Ac. Elevator was broke, so luggage up 8 flights of floors was rough. Front door lock broke leaving one of us locked out for 45 mins and one kicked inside for 45 mins.
- Angela (8/5): Very good - Airy apartment. Comfy beds. Big bedrooms and bathrooms.. Little things - crockery in cupboards too high to reach and no means of getting to it. Same issue with the rail in the wardrobe. I am average height and it was a struggle.
No instructions for the dishwasher.
No replacement bin bags.
- Gianvito (10/5): Highly recommend. - Good location. Very clean. AC worked great. Very spacious.
- Colin (8/5): Very good -
- Nikita (8/5): Very good -
- Tracy (1/5): Our stay here was horribly uncomfortable and easily the worst travel stay experience we’ve ever had. - The property was spacious and really well decorated. The hot water worked well. Our bedroom was dark and quiet at night. TV had Netflix and Prime Video where we could sign into our own account. The property was filthy. There were very visible hairs on the sofa, in the bath tub and on pillows. Fingerprints from other occupants which told me that the property hadn’t been thoroughly cleaned. The nice wood floors had grime and dust and had not been swept or mopped. There was only one set of thin dingy towels per person - none extra. No extra bedding, only two extra pillows in each bedroom which were worn and dirty. Worst of all, the toilets were filthy.
I contacted the property manager and asked for a refund - I couldn’t stay there, I was so uncomfortable. It was a Sunday and my request had to be sent by email to the main office. They offered to come back to clean but I had lost confidence in the company. For the apartment to be in such bad shape was evidence of systematic neglect and uncleanliness. We had to spend the night.
The next morning the main office contacted me promptly and said my request was denied because they had offered to clean again. So, we were stuck for three nights. I had to accepted their offer to clean again. The same man can to clean while we were out touring. When we returned, the same hairs were in place, floor not cleaned at all, but the toilets were cleaned nicely and fingerprints removed from most surfaces.
We were out during the day but the nights were the worst ever. Silverfish were present, I was afraid to lay on the bed, I didn’t move much. Our daughter joined us on the last night. She thought the place was lovely on first inspection then she saw the signs of uncleanliness. The next morning she had several insect bites on her arms and legs which were previously not there. Her bed was more insect infested than ours.
Check out: House rules were that we had to take our own trash out as we checked out or be fined. We also had to wash any dishes we had used and clean out the refrigerator or be fined.
- Susuki (9/5): Superb - house is very nice and new, space sufficient, kitchenware is clean, host is nice, location is convenient. close to metro, train station and supermarket slow drain
- Anonymous (10/5): we loved our stay and would stay again:) - roomy and the location was great the shower in bath 1 didn’t have a head on the sprayer and was a surprise at first use
