• Gian Luca (8/5): Esperienza piacevole, alcuni aspetti migliorabili - Abbiamo soggiornato per 3 notte al Jo&Joe Paris Nation di Parigi in una camera privata. La struttura si trova in un'ottima posizione per muoversi a Parigi, a pochi minuti dalla fermata della metro e della RER Nation, che consente di avere a disposizione più linee metropolitane e la rotta ferroviaria che collega Parigi a Disneyland. La camera privata con 3 posti letto è piuttosto accogliente, sebbene non ci siano spazi per riporre gli abiti e le valigie se non i cestoni sottostanti i letti. Le camere sono piuttosto insonorizzate, ad eccezione della porta che dà sul corridoio e della finestra, da cui filtrano diversi rumori fino a sera inoltrata. Nulla di drammatico, ma si potrebbe migliorare sotto quell'aspetto. L'unico aspetto negativo è in parte rappresentato dalla pulizia della camera, non impeccabile, specialmente al di sotto dei materassi. Ad ogni modo nulla che non sia rimediabile, l'esperienza è stata comunque decisamente piacevole.

• SEUNG HEE (10/5): - I visited Paris to set up a booth at the SIAL exhibition and stayed here for a week. I was satisfied with the low cost and was very comfortable with the smile and friendly guidance of all the staff working. And even when I arrived at the accommodation after work late at night, I was able to buy something to eat and a drink. I had to bring 2 heavy carriers down the stairs of the Metro to get to the airport on the last day, but one of the staff members did not refuse my request and held my bag until just before I got on the subway. Thank you very much. I really want to make a reservation here again on my next business trip P.S. Breakfast was excellent, too

• Robert (2/5): - We found the hotel to be way below the standards of an average hotel.  We were not pleased.  The room did not contain a phone, there was no soap, the bed sheets were not fresh, we ran into a couple doing drugs in the hall way and we heard heavy door pounding throughout the night.  We decided to checkout out of your hotel the following morning on October 1st.  We did not feel safe at your hotel.  I sent them an e-mail asking them for a refund for the nights that we did not stay there. I just received my credit card statement and they billed me for 4 full days including the daily city tax. Can you help me get my money back for the nights I did not stay there? Robert Ordaz 
• Cédric (10/5): Un hébergement pas cher et pratique à Paris - L'Auberge de Jeunesse Jo&Joe est située à 2 pas du métro Buzenval (ligne 9). Elle propose un bar et un roof top. Les lits en dortoirs confortables et biens pensés. Les sanitaires sont propres et bien décorés. C'est une bonne option pour dormir "pas cher" à Paris.
• Verified traveler (8/5): Fint sted, ville besøge igen - Fint sted og godt hostel hvis man skal sove med fremmede. Man kunne nemlig lukke af for sin seng med et gardin. Derudover god sikkerhed i form af nøglekort til trapper og elevator. Dog dårligt mad på deres restaurant.

• Cheryl (10/5): - J’ai beaucoup aimé mon séjour au jo and joe nation, vraiment rien à dire, le personnel était super accueillant, très gentils, je n’ai jamais été dérangée pendant mon séjour, tout était propre, le rooftop ainsi que la happy house sont de supers espaces pour les jeunes, j’ai vraiment beaucoup aimé. La nourriture aussi était vraiment bonne et très abordable

Aufbereiten meiner Französischkenntnisse, Neugierde auf neue Stadtviertel (Grande Arche, Olympiadorf…) und etwas Kulinarik (Pekingente in der Chinatown, Fish&Chips im Café du coin. Die hektische Bedienungsweise der Kellner ist gewohnheitsbedürftig.- Metrofahrten waren schnell gelernt, ebenso die kleinen Trinkgelder an die arme Bevölkerung.

• Brian (10/5): Nice but track your room marks - Room is spacious,beds are a dense foam mattresses that seems kind of random in their platform settings. Stopper on bathroom does was off and on the ground so our door started originally off track and was a little scary for us. We put it on track but monitored it didn't fall off track again while staying in the room. Shower had Paris sewage smells if you are first to get it started, but wasn't too bad.

• Lisa (4/5): - It was a rough experience. I got there early in the morning and could not check in early. I had to pay for two lockers for my stuff. The private room with one bed is very bare with little furniture. I felt like I paid for what a hotel would have cost with zero amenities. Plus, this hostel isn't even in a nice neighborhood. The neighborhood definitely has a decent amount of crime and is not safe to walk in the late evening. It is also far from a lot of attractions. There were even fireworks some nights that kept going off. There were no good restaurants nearby the hostel. I ordered some dinner at the hostel, but it didn't taste great. They mainly just had pizza. The service was not great either. I tried to take a shower one evening around 6:00 pm, and there was no hot water. The staff there then suggested I just take a shower in the communal bathroom. I was not sure of what the cleaning schedule was, but I only got my room cleaned around 3 days out of the 8 days I stayed there. On the day I had to leave for the airport at 5:30 am, I got locked in the hostel with no recepetionist. I tried to push a few doors open, but none would open. They locked the doors on the outside because the neighborhood is bad, but they locked them on the inside. I had to pay around 28 Euros because the Uber driver cancelled after waiting for me, which was not my fault. I barely received an apology or a solution for any problems the hostel caused for me.

• Heavenly (8/5): - First time in Paris and I really liked this hostel.. it was clean staff was nice the ONLY ISSUES were that we were not able to bring our own food and store it in fridges or cook something we’d like… Also no bagage storage free of charge.. it cost about 4€ for 6 hours.. they don’t make the bed when you first check in you have to do it yourself
• Jiying (8/5): - Location is perfect, only 1-2min walking to metro Line 9, and easy to reach most scenic spots. Employees are nice and helpful. Only disadvantages per our opinion are that the air conditioner is not working well for the 2 rooms we stayed, had to call technicien both times. Room is a bit dark with the paint chosen. After all it is a good experience.

• Elsbeth (10/5): - Das Besondere an diesem Jo&Joe-Hostel war für uns altes Ehepaar der lockere, freundliche, unkomplizierte Stil des Hauses, den das Jo&Joe-Team praktziert. Wir haben uns unter den überwiegend jungen Gästen sehr wohl gefühlt und waren erstaunt über das wöchentliche vielfältige Veranstaltungsangebot (z.B. ein kleiner Wochenmarktstand in der Lobby) im Haus für alle, nicht nur für Hostel-Gäste.

• Daniela (10/5): - The staff is great and the facility is just fine. I'm beyond the average age of a hostel guest, yet had a perfectly fine stay. The vicinity to the metro is a big plus. Located on the first floor, I couldn't hear any noise. I'd suggest renting a light for the cubicles as an amenity. As a professional in hospitality, I'd like to stress again how friendly and professional the staff was.
• Jacinta (10/5): - Great location just off the 9 metro. The place was spotless and the staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. There are built in lockers to keep your belongings secure and I never once felt like my things weren’t safe. Wonderful first hostel experience for me. Would definitely stay there again.

• Lai (10/5): Wow, a 5* hostel....a new hurdle has been set for competitors - It was a wow 5* hostel. Such an amazing hostels in terms of covid needs. The pod beds were homely. The staff were passionate in helping guests feel at home. Thank you to all the staff.
• Melissa (4/5): Funky place but with BED BUGS - Staff were lovely, the dorm room was spacious with clean bathrooms and linen BUT there were BED BUGS!! I was covered in bites the next morning and had to travel back to the UK in great discomfort. I’m still itchy two days later. The reception was apologetic and offered me a free breakfast but that’s not really good enough. The room needs to be steam cleaned and the mattress replaced.
• Verified traveler (10/5): Paris-Londres - The services at Jo&Joe were very good in general. The staff members are very friendly, patient, and with a very professional attitude, especially Ornella, Patricia, Victor and Agustin. Unfortunately I had an incident with my belongings: On Monday 29th of August I went out in a rush and left all my belongings, included my luggage on top of my bed and bring the curtain down. I also left my electrical converter (as I live in the UK), the plug for my iPad (Amazon), headphones, cable to charge my phone, some toiletries in a Tesco reusable plastic bag, neck pillow and, most importantly a book in Spanish called "Evo Morales", a very rare edition of this book that I had just purchased. When I came back latter on that day I noticed that the cleaners had changed the bedding and taken all my things. I really don't understand why the cleaner took all my things if I hadn't checked out yet. I went to reception and talked to Victor who immediately started to look for my things. Literally the only two items he found was the plastic bag and my neck pillow. I didn't recover any of the other staff, regardless that all members of the staff were looking for it. I am not happy at all with this experience, especially loosing my book. I hope you can train your cleaners better asking them to be more careful when they clean the rooms. • Jessica (8/5): - The only issue I had was cleanliness in the shared bathrooms. Otherwise I felt very safe and comfortable as a single female traveling. I made aome wonderful friends staying here as well!
