• HELENE (7/5): Hotel bien placé et personnel serviable. - Accueil à l’aéroport par le taxi réservé par l’hôtel. Gentillesse du personnel. Bon emplacement. Chambre au rez de chaussée, proche de l’accueil : on sent la fumée de cigarette et si les personnels mettent de la musique ou parlent fort à 5h du matin, ça nous réveille. Coffre dans la chambre inutilisable.

Also, we were refused to get a refund for another room which we booked by mistake and contacted the hotel literally seconds after. We were told "sorry you booked online with a non-refundable rate". This lack of flexibility is unaceptable. Also, the staff doesn't speak english.

She helped me a lot with the hotel and with the activities in the area. Please give her a raise, she is worth it. A perfect location. Extremely delicious breakfast. The room was stylish and the bed was confortable. Safe. In the morning one day at 7.10am there was a renovation in the neighbouring building which woke me up. The room did not have a window, but it wasn't too bad.

Overall, I highly recommend Affa Boutique Hotel for its exceptional service, prime location, comfortable accommodations, and the dedicated assistance of Mr. Pham Vand Duc. • Christian (1/5): Very disappointing experience; worst hotel I ever stayed at - Location Instead of a double room (as advertised/booked), they put me in a dormitory upon arrival. Didn't they know before that they're fully booked!? Uncomfortable bunk beds: small, hard mattresses, bedsheets itchy and dirty. Buffet breakfast promised/advertised, but instead they just bought cheap toast from a nearby supermarket. No TV remote and no fridge in the room, yet they charged for these things. Upon checkout, they destroyed the handle of my luggage as a "free bonus" and now refuse to pay a refund. Scandalous.

The aircon in the room was not working as it supposed to . Difficult to adjust the temperature with the given remote. The room while beautiful is abit too small for me.

The location is excellent we could walk to most attractions. We were a bit late for breakfast but the staff still prepared something for us. Had a good stay. On the booking app it said that there was a bath ( I specifically choose this room for the bath) unfortunately there aren't any in the hotel. It's a mistake on the app. The staff did apologies for the mistake and said they would correct it. No windows in the room.
• Box (7/5): It does its job - Good location, clean and large room. The staff speaks almost no English, but they do their best to help you. The room had no window, although we specifically requested one with a window. The breakfast is quite poor, especially if you are vegetarian.

• Heang (8/5): Affa Boutique is an amazing budget hotel in the center of Hanoi city. - I didn't expect this $25s USD hotel to serve breakfast. They offered some food options and I'm happy with all of them. The location is amazing. It sits close to the famous public park and lake in the center of the city. I can walk to many tourist attractive places. One Saturday morning, I got up and saw hundreds of Hanoi people citizens running around the lake. It looked like the official marathon event. Then, I decided to join them lol. Staff are friendly, helpful (fast response even on email), and caring. For example, when I asked them to keep my baggage after I checked out, they even helped me to carry it and keep it in a safe place. The space is small tho. But I won't mind about it either as I believe the rent is expensive in this location. This hotel fits very well with travelers because I noticed there was no working desk for guests to work on their laptops for their business activities. However, I still can work on the bed;').
• Johannes (10/5): A good way to start your stay in Vietnam - Very good location in the old town right next to the central lake. We could easily walk everywhere. helpful and friendly staff. They organized our trip to Ha Long Bay and sent me the phone I had forgotten by mail. Clean room. Breakfast. Our room didn’t have a window. But that was mentioned in the description. Actually it didn’t matter at all since it was dark anyway when we were in the hotel. And it was a quiet room this way.
