There's a lot of blingy furniture which is not really my style but is supposed to resemble 1920's and they've done a great job. The hotel provides afternoon tea and cocktails. The staff the was a bit disorganised and i was told that cocktail I ordered was no longer available as they ran out of it so I assumed the cocktails were pre made and did not really contain the alcohol strength I'm familiar with esp my Negroni.

- JIA (10/5): Great hotel with normal check-in check-out time - The best hotel in Hanoi,plain and simple.But there is one thing that needs to be mentioned.On the hotel's room page it says Flexible check-in and check-out time upon availability.But don't think this is Peninsula time at the Peninsula Hotels which you can check-in as early as 8AM and check-out as late as 16PM.Since our flight to Ho Chi Minh City was very late into the night a REAL flexible check-out was very important.Because we had used Peninsula Time before, we naively thought that we could be flexible in Capella, which is known for its luxury.Turns out their check-in and check-out policies are no different from regular hotels：upon available and pay to guarantee.The hotel did offer to let us stay in the living room as long as we wanted.And the kind staffs constantly offered us free sweets and mocktails.However since we had already checked out we just didn't feel comfortable eating and drinking for free.So we just sat there for three hours with some water and final decided we just head to the airport to see if we can get on an early flight.To be clear.Normal check-in and check-out times is fine and we are totally OK with it.Just if your check-in and check-out times are no different from regular hotels, there’s no point in mention “Flexible” on the website as if it’s a selling point, right?

- Adelineleigh (9/5): A luxurious stay in the expansive suite - Impeccably clean and well-designed though the styling was too OTT for me - but it's a Bill Bensley - and the further upgrade to the next-level suite was luxurious. A nice start to our Vietnam trip. Breakfast was such a grand affair and it's such a waste that we aren't really champagne and oysters kinda folks. Service was on point for a 5-star hotel and afternoon tea and canapes (on the house) was a nice touch. Loved the stay here at Capella and would happily recommend it as a balm to the hecticness of Hanoi.

We had a junior suite and it was extremely comfortable and well priced. Good selection of places to eat and sit inside the hotel. Temperature control in our room was very good and the bed and pillows were comfortable. Very good fitness centre and excellent pool. The staff were very helpful. The location, the room (spacious and comfortable), internal amenities (restaurants and bar) and the fitness centre and pool.

Every detail of this hotel is a masterpiece. Luxury and art are woven into every corner, from the decor to the atmosphere. The staff were outstanding: warm, attentive, and made me feel genuinely cared for. Dining at Backstage was a highlight, with world-class cuisine and an ambiance that felt both elegant and inviting. The lounge and bars were equally impressive, perfect for relaxing with a cocktail and soaking in the beauty of the space. This is not just a hotel, it is an experience. I cannot recommend Capella Hanoi highly enough. It has completely raised the bar for what a luxury stay should be. Nothing!

- Harman (10/5): A rare gem - 1) Location is perfect in old quarters of Ha Noi, all major attractions are at walkable distances from the property. 2) The staff is extremely polite, thoughtful and helpful. I would like to give special mention to Ms. Vikky (Vicky? not sure about the spelling) at the reception who helped us with the early check in, gave us an upgrade to deluxe suit with minimal charges. The Deluxe suit was really a great idea as we were travelling with our 4yrs old kid. 3) Right from the security personnels to bell boys to waiters and everyone else is extremely polite, helpful, always with a smile on and are ready to go an extra mile when it comes to help the travellers. They don't do this for "Tips" but you wouldn't go without tipping them. Nice, sweet, honest people. 4) They even allowed us to store our luggage for no cost, 2 days after checkout as our flight was late in the evening and we wanted to explore Ha-Noi during the day. (We were just back from Ha-Long Bay) 5) They serve amazzzzzzing Vietnamese coffee at the bar, a must try!! 6) They also have Michelin star restaurant !!! We loved our stay at Capella, Ha Noi. 10000% recommended !
- Yaroslava (10/5): A very expensive, excellent hotel - The bed is amazingly comfortable, and the pillows are by far the best I’ve ever experienced anywhere. The location is convenient, and the staff very friendly and welcoming. There’s a bit of noise coming from the street outside.

Best Spa area of any hotel in Hanoi. Restaurants are all Michelin star or rated. Best tea time, best breakfast! Great amenities in the room! Good transportation options! Hard not to like everything! One very minor gripe is the bathroom door when open hides the one light switch for both bathrooms. So had to hunt for the light switch... but that's very minor, everything was amazing!
