Sofic (10/5): - It is a very charming hotel. The cleanliness and hospitality are of a very high standard. The breakfast is excellent. The location is very close to the metro, as well as the Vatican, so we barely needed to use public transport. It is a hotel we would gladly return to.

karim (6/5): un Mama qui se trouve un peu en dessous des autres.... - la deco et l'ambiance Mama Shelter, l'espace piscine Immense déception du petit-déjeuner et du personnel qui encadre ce petit-déjeuner. Les réapprovisionnements des plats ont du être demandés à plusieurs reprises...le personnel, pas aimable, était plus occupé sur le téléphone, voire prendre un café avec un collègue plutôt que de servir les clients. Bref, l'équipe du matin est à revoir totalement. Le ménage des chambres est approximatif...Le Sauna était froid, l'eau de la piscine également. Pour des habitués du Mama Shelter, nous avons été déçus de celui de Rome...

Bessonova (7/5): Nice hotel but a bit overpriced. - The concept and the style of the hotel are really nice and unusual. The staff is really nice and friendly! The hotel is situated a bit far from the city center BUT you have a metro and a bus station just next door so it’s very convenient. Unfortunately there were some inconveniences: - the spa is too small for the amount of people that are allowed at the same time - no slippers or gowns in order to get to the spa (so either you take your room towel, or you go with your clothes and change in spa. I totally understand that it is more eco friendly, but for me it was inconvenient according to the price I have paid) - in our room we had some small flies (the are not contagious or anything but once again… considering 300€+ price of the room per night)
Ewa (10/5): Świetny hotel przyjazny zwierzętom. - Obiekt świetnie położony, z genialnym designem. Pokój nieduży ale bardzo funkcjonalny, było nam wygodnie w 2 dorosłych, dziecko i pies. Hotel jest bardzo przyjazny zwierzętom. Warto zarezerwować sobie czas na wizytę w strefie basenowej - świetny relaks po aktywnym dniu. Miejsca parkingowe w garażu są oddzielone wieloma filarami i na prawdę cieżko się manewruje dużym SUVem jeśli parking jest pełen. Ale to tylko niewielki szczegół, bo sam hotel jest doskonały.

Kwaliteit en klantgerichtheid laat nogal te wensen over. Om de rekening te tekenen, moet je achteraan sluiten in een lange rij waar mensen staan die nog een plaats in het restaurant willen krijgen.

Kamila (8/5): Super hotel z kiepskim śniadaniem - Super hotel, dobrze położony, pokoje bardzo przestronne na 4 osobowa rodzine super wygodne (Mama XL), duze wygodne łóżka, dobre poduszki, fajne ręczniki, duza lazienka, pokoje codziennie sprzatane, czajnik w pokoju, super taras na dachu. śniadanie niestety bardzo słabe. niby dużo produktow ale w kraju gdzie pieczywo i warzywa są jedne z lepszych w Europie codziennie przez 5 dni na śniadanie było stare niedobre pieczywo, i zwiędłe warzywa w ilościach minimalnych. pieczywo kupowalismy wiec w carefurze obok hotelu. to zdecydowanie temat do poprawy

Je n’ai pas apprécié le fait que le rooftop ferme tôt , je trouve ça dommage . Je n’ai pas apprécié la nonchalance du personnel, l’hôtel est censé être un 4 étoiles , on ne le sent pas du tout .

damboz (10/5): Zdecydownie polecamy! - Lokalizacja blisko metra, duże wygodne łóżko, śniadania europejskie, przyjazna i miła obsługa. Polecamy! Był moment zimnej wody pod prysznicem. Powodem duże obłożenie hotelu po dojechaniu liczebnej wycieczki. Nie wpływa to jednak na naszą wysoką ocenę hotelu. 👍
Julieta (8/5): Décevant - L’emplacement Le système pour accéder à la piscine et à la salle de sport, il faut absolument réserver pour y accéder. Une fois que la réservation est faite, il faut avoir un code et on y accède seulement par un ascenseur. Le deuxième jour nous n’avons pas et d’eau chaude pour la douche. Les bouteilles d’eau dans les chambres ne sont pas renouvelées chaque jour. Pour le petit déjeuner, il est difficile de trouver une table. La machine à café fonctionne bizarrement. Beaucoup de plats ne sont pas réapprovisionnes, il faut attendre longtemps alors que nous sommes arrivés tôt.
Yuqi (2/5): - Good location We stayed there for three nights. On the first night, the shower water wasn’t very hot, and we noticed lots of ants in the bathroom. I contacted reception, and they came to clean it roughly, which I appreciated, especially since it was quite late. The next day, they kindly followed up with us. We still noticed a few ants in the morning, so they upgraded our room and provided a voucher, which was not a bad gesture. The shower water was hot the following day, although the water pressure was a bit inconsistent. On the last day, the shower water was unfortunately totally cold again. So the same problem happened twice, and i have never expected that getting a hot shower is a luxurious thing in a four-star hotel.

Catherine (9/5): Confort, style & emplacement idéal - La décoration et l'espace de la chambre, les équipements. Les moyens de divertissement pour les enfants (jeux, baby foot, arcades...). La variété du buffet du petit-déjeuner. La piscine petite mais agréable. Juste ce qu'il faut pour se détendre. L'amabilité de l'accueil et du personnel de manière générale. L'emplacement est idéal pour découvrir Rome. L'hôtel est bien desservi par métro et bus. L'allée pour rentrer dans l'hôtel au départ de la rue : du jasmin qui vous éveille les sens. Une confusion au moment du check out. Le problème a vite été résolu. Le membre de l'accueil s'en est excusé mais j'ai bien fait de vérifier la facture finale. Tout s'est fait avec respect et amabilité. Eau chaude capricieuse certaines après-midis.

La piscine/sauna/hamam est un gros plus , surtout après une bonne journée de visite ! Sans oublier le rooftop et l’espace solarium au dernier étage. Le petit déjeuner est incroyable. Très déçus du repas pris à l’hôtel un soir (pizzas et pâtes) ...
UGUR (2/5): - The only positive aspect of the hotel was its convenient location, particularly its proximity to the metro. We regret to say that our stay at Mama Shelter Roma was overall unsatisfactory. The main issues we experienced are outlined below: First, despite staying on an upper floor, we encountered ants in our room, which was disappointing and below expected hygiene standards. Although the breakfast quality exceeded our expectations, the service and staff behavior significantly diminished the experience. In particular, the barista staff frequently engaged in conversations among themselves while taking orders, leading to noticeable delays in coffee service. Unfortunately, we experienced this issue consistently over four consecutive days. Additionally, despite having prepaid for breakfast during our reservation, we observed that guests ordering à la carte breakfast received more attentive and prompt service. Their orders were taken immediately, while ours were noticeably delayed. This inconsistency in service was quite frustrating. At check-in, an amount of approximately €200 was charged to our card as a deposit, allegedly to cover city taxes and incidental expenses. However, we believe this process could be handled in a more transparent and standard manner, such as charging expenses as they occur or clearly settling city tax at check-in or check-out. Although the number of staff appeared sufficient, many seemed more focused on interacting with each other rather than attending to guests. This had a negative impact on the overall service quality and guest experience. The only positive aspect of the hotel was its convenient location, particularly its proximity to the metro. Based on our overall experience, we would not consider staying at this hotel again.

Good Child policy (free breakfast for our 12 year old daughter). Long wait times for check in. Breakfast very crowded running out of a lot of items frequently.
Celine Et Cyril (7/5): Hotel très agréable et bien placé mais gestion du resto à revoir - Très bien situé. Personnel très agréable. Très propre. Présence d'un restaurant. Le matelas du canapé d'appoint dans la chambre familiale était beaucoup trop fin et donc pas confortable. La gestion du restaurant était problématique : table réservée non préparée, attente très longue entre les plats, et petit déjeuner pas agréable, pas assez de place pour s'asseoir, il fallait tout le temps réclamer des ustensiles ou des aliments.
Jerry Patrick (10/5): Fun stay in Rome at Mana Shelter Roma - This is my first day at Mama shelter Roma and they exceeded all my expectations. Great location, so close for Cipro subway stop. You can get almost anywhere in Rome easily. Love the staff, the aesthetic, the room and the amenities. Also loved the pool, easy to make reservations. My only issues were that I could not get the tea kettle to work and why do European hotels not believe in wash cloths.

Les deux machines à café se retrouvent rapidement sans tasses. Bref, ce n’est pas top. La taxe de séjour a 7€50 par personne est un peu trop élevée.
Urs (8/5): Meine Tochter und ich hatten eine gute Zeit zusammen. - Schöne Zimmer, Gute Ausstattung mit Pool und Fitness, Frühstücksbuffet, Service generell. Ruhige Terasse, wo man sich hinsetzten kann. Man muss für die Benützung des Pools und des Fitness reservieren, beides max 1h pro Tag. Ist mühsam, da man ja gerade in einer Stadt wie Rom nicht genau weiss man zurück ist, insb. für den Poolbereich. Zudem war z.B. das Fitness faktisch immer leer, obwohl häufig als "reserviert" deklariert. Frühstücksbuffet hat nicht so viele interessante Sachen für Kinder (Tochter 11 Jahre).

Charming rooms with comfortable beds, soft bed linen and a spacious bathroom. It’s our second stay at a Mama hotel across Europe and we will definitely choose it again.

Martin (8/5): Relaxing stay aside of the city hustle - Great atmosphere, fantastic staff, super comfortable beds. Rooftop bar was closing before the evening, real shame. The restaurant quality was over all not reaching the standard it presents about itself. Food was mediocre, dirty glasses an cutlery, slow staff... Pool area, although nice, was getting overcrowded even though you have to book a spot in calendar to access it.
