• Kimberley (7/5): - Good room with private toilet for the price and great location and amazing view. Was all we needed for 4 nights. Room had fridge and kettle etc. very comfortable bed. The room wasn’t cleaned during my stay.

• Tomasz (10/5): Bardzo miłe miejsce, dwa kroki od sklepu i centrum starego miasta. - Bardzo duża prywatność w obiekcie. Generalnie było wszystko co było potrzebne dla osób które zostawały tam na jedną noc. Dla kogoś kto przyleciał samolotem nie było np czym przekroić chleba. Trochę mało miejsca na odkładanie ubrań, przydała by się druga szafka nocna zamiast taboretu. Coś takiego jak sznurek do suszenia ręczników te by się przydał. Może po prostu suszarka opuszczana poza balkon? Poza tym bardzo miłe wspomnienia.

• Lorne (8/5): Amazing views of the Old Town - Wow! Beautiful Nests is perched on the hillside just above the Old Town with a stunning view from Room 2’s balcony over the Old Town, Lokrum island and the sea. I stayed in Room 2 for 10 days and the location was superb. Quiet, affluent neighbourhood about 15-20 minutes walk to Old Town. Downhill in the morning, but quite steep uphill back at night. Room fairly simple, but with good facilities. Double bed, wardrobe, table, fridge, adequate power points, good free WiFi, A/C and balcony with table and chairs for breakfast each morning overlooking Old Town. Separate, but private and very clean bathroom across small landing. This has been an issue for some reviewers, but it’s no big deal. Most houses have separate bathrooms instead of en-suite. It’s self catering, so no meals or housekeeping. Fridge extremely useful and a few utensils and bits of crockery. Overall, very good value for money compared to some very expensive properties in the Old Town itself. 1 Very poor communication at check-in and checkout. Property is run online by Directbooker company. No reception. No host. Just a key box on the wall with access via a key code. Except that Direct Booker failed to answer my emails and never gave me the code to the key box to access the keys. I was very fortunate that the cleaning lady let me in, opened the key box and set up my WIFI. Thank you so much Lucija. Directbooker really need to improve their communication and their service. Never heard from them at checkout either, so I just left the keys in the door at checkout. 2 Be warned about the pictures in the advertising. Room 2 has the balcony with the stunning views of the Old Town, Lokrum island and the sea. Room 1 doesn’t. It has a tiny balcony at the side of the property with a view of the sea only.

Die Unterkunft ist in fie Jahre gekommen und nicht mal Standard...altes Bad, Alte Handtücher, keine Pflegeartikel, Alte Wolldecken zum Zudecken, kein TV, Toilette auf dem Flur muss man abschließen, Balkon Geländer verrostet. Weg zur Wohnung ungepflegt...Wände sehr hellhörig. Ein Charakter einer Jugendherberge wie vor 30 Jahren...lieblos

• Emily (10/5): - Sea view is breathtaking. Excellent location for those able to climb stairs (Dubrovnik is unforgivingly hilly!). A little basic in terms of amenities - no Wi-Fi for example - but had a kettle, fridge, excellent A/C and was just the perfect spot for our first time in Dubrovnik. Would recommend!
• Jonathan (1/5): A downer to any stay in Dubrovnik - Nothing positive, unfortunately. Misleading info about the rooms (ones with view don't have an ensuite bathroom, you need to cross a public hall), information on how to check in never arrived, had to wait 20 minutes before someone finally appeared (despite giving arrival time), info about check-out also never came, no help available during the stay, requests through Booking.com went ignored, shabby room, and steep climb to location meant avoiding returning to room during the day.

• Hugo Ignacio (10/5): Dias hermosos con vistas a las murallas de Dubrovnik - La vista era imponente y compensaba las escaleras que esta ciudad tiene para poder disfrutarla. La habitacion tiene el baño enfrente lo que le resta comodidad e intimidad a la estadia.

• Louie (8/5): Good - The location was very vey walkable and stunning views from the terrace of the Old Town. Internet connection. The second day when we stayed there the WiFi is not connected. I texted the staff through WhatsApp they said that it might be the internet provider and until we left the accommodation with no WiFi and issue was unresolved.
• Aleksandra (8/5): The balcony view made our stay - Amazing location, as it’s 10 mins away on foot from the old town and the nearest beach. There’s a shop just round the corner. Good AC and breathtaking view from the balcony, where we had breakfast every morning. The wifi didn’t work at all over our stay. There wasn’t enough of furniture in the room so i had to keep my stuff in my bag on the floor the whole time. The bathroom was in the corridor that’s shared with other people.

• Wojciech (7/5): The beautiful view is the biggest plus, the rest is standard low price. - Hosting without problems, everything was taken care of remotely. The room was clean, a bit old, but clean. At this price it's ok. The room can be treated as a place to sleep to visit Dunrownik cheaply. The room lacks major amenities, there is everything that should be in an average standard and at an average price. The view is beautiful and this is the biggest advantage of this location.

• Rachel (6/5): Pleasant - Great location close to the old town around 10-15 mins walk. Lovely sea view. Comfy bed. Some tea/coffee facilities provided. Bit misleading as to which room you book as our room didn’t include a table and chairs and the full view as pictured. Towels were very old and uncomfortable to dry yourself with they could do with buying some new ones. Also only give us fresh towels as we were leaving. No where to dry your towels either could do with some hooks on the wall. Furniture is also run down and smells a bit in the room.

• Verified traveler (6/5): Smuk udsigt - men meget støj! - Der var urimeligt lydt mellem værelserne - det var 100% umuligt at sove, når naboer kom, gik, eller stod op om natten for at gå på toilettet. Dertil kom, at køleskabet med jævne mellemrum larmede helt vanvittigt. Badeværelset har synlige fugtskader. Men udsigten var helt i top og absolut vidunderlig.

• Cristian (9/5): Superb - Location was great, 15 min from beach and old town. Have air conditioner and balcony that was perfect and incredible views of the city and sea. All good, toilet is private but outside of the room, but for us was ok.

• Cali (8/5): - The view was amazing, and even though we were there during some really bad weather, we were still able to sit out on the balcony without getting too wet from the rain as it is a bit enclosed. The property was very clean and there were very clear instructions as to finding and vacating the property and how to use the room and the bathroom. There are 2 bookable rooms in the apartment, we stayed in the double room which has the large balcony that looks directly out on to the sea view (the second room has also a balcony but is around the side of the house). So just be aware that if you are only booking one of the rooms then you will share the apartment with other people- but this is not a problem as the bedroom locks from the inside and the outside, and the bathroom (even though it is across the hall from the bedroom) is private for just you and you have a key to lock that as well. Near to the property there is a small grocery store that was good to get snacks and there is also a cafe/bar that we got coffee from every morning for really good value (also has a great view!). There is no kitchen facilities in this property, but they do provide a small fridge and a kettle. Be aware there are lots of steep hills and steps to get to the property from the beach or the town, so it might be worth having a car or booking taxis if you are not so comfortable walking a lot (but this is true of the whole city). Overall this property was really great and I would definitely stay here again! :)
• William (10/5): Amazing seaview from the balcony - Seaview was amazing for the entire old town, little bit climb but only 10 minutes walk to town, still very convenience, reasonable price worth the views
• Baumann (3/5): Room 1 does not have a view of the town, room in poor condition - Staff onsite were friendly. Room was clean just very run down. The photos of this room on the booking.com site are completely misleading of this room. The balcony is only large enough to fit a single chair on and is facing the wrong way to the old town, so only had a very restricted view of the sea and Otok Lokrum island. The room is quite run down and requires some work, the fridge was making a constant noise and the bed was extremely creeky/noisy any time you moved. We were booked for 3 nights, but decided to leave in the morning after one night and stayed somewhere much nicer with an amazing view of the city just up the road from this property. When we left the property, we notified the property manager (Direct booker), and spoke to a member of their staff on the phone, but still haven't heard back. Although they did send us a message 4 days later asking for a review. If you're looking for a romantic getaway with a view I wouldn't recommend Nest Room 1.

• Piotr (4/5): - Positives: - amazing view from the balcony - cheap -very close to old town and the port (note that the whole place is super steep, so it's close but it's very up hill with a lot of starts) - AC Negatives: - nosiest and most uncomfortable bed I've slept on - noisiest mini fridge I've seen - 'private bathroom' is technically correct but fails to mention that you have to cross a communal corridor, with the doors next to yours being another room. It's only really private based on the fact that you get a key and can lock it when you're not there. - thin walls, so every time someone else leaves rooms you can really hear it and it may wake you up at night.
• Nicola (10/5): Incredible Room - I highly recommend to stay here. It was gorgeous with an incredible view from the terrace. It was basic and exactly what you need for a pleasant stay. They were very professional and I felt very comfortable. It is only a 10ish walk to old town and while it is steep it is really not that bad and totally worth the price. I would absolutely stay here again.

• Ana (7/5): Beauty demands sacrifice - The view is great and the place is close to a really nice beach. The room is pretty big and the balcony, even if really small, has a nice view over the island in front, same for the outside space. There's a fridge and some utensils that might be useful for breakfast. The fact that I've asked from the beginning if we could leave the luggage after check out and the owner ignored my request until the last day, when it was finnally said that it wouldn't be possible to do it. The fact that it takes a very long walk on a steep climb to get there. The fact that rooms on the side where mine was don't have access to the full view that includes the city of Dubrovnik.

• Dan (7/5): Nice holiday but very expensive! - We didn't had breakfast. It was only one suite room (actually it was two rooms with bathroom outside the rooms, locked with key, only for our rooms). Wasn't pleasured because our child stayed into one separate room, but was OK. We had one small fridge, conditioner air, one big balcony for our two rooms, 3 chairs on balcony, 3 towels /person, 2 small plates, forks, knife, towels, one wardrobe with many hangers. The furniture weren't new, but are ok for a good accommodation. To get the key it is not so difficult if you follow the instruction of the company which are in charge for the accommodation. Big plus and thanks for Ivana from Direct-Booker for her help for all the time, starting before our arrival, than after our landing, to the end when we left the rooms. The rooms should be into the same apartment, not separate. The most unpleased was the bathroom which was outside the rooms, is need it to get out from the rooms into the small lobby to go to bathroom. Also, will be nice to change the furniture. The apartment it is situated on the heal, we had to go up and down about 350 stairs every day to arrive at the Beach Banjie and to the old town.
