- Vermeiren (9/5): Heel erg tevreden, ik vond het voor deze prijs een uitmuntend hotel. - Locatie super, vlakbij Times Square, maar toch weg uit de ergste drukte. Straat voelde veilig, kamer was klein, maar perfect doenbaar en heel erg gezellig ingericht. Very classy. Er was 'continental breakfast' aangekondigd, maar dat viel eerder tegen. Keuze zeer beperkt, en elke dag hetzelfde. Wel lekkere koffie. En een prachtige ontbijtzaal.

Places to hang clothes would be good as you need to live out of your suitcase. Rooftop bar opening hours increased as it was closed 2/4 days we were there and the other days they had private events until 11pm so we didn't get to visit it.

The rooms are on the small side, but gotta realize it’s Manhattan of course. Mattresses are not the best, little too firm but this is personal. Breakfast was very skimpy, very little options.

Awesome decor at rooftop bar, great location for drinks and happy hour. Pricey for what you get, nickel and dime-ing on services. Bar tenders at roof top bar were "too cool for school", not great service (the hostess was very nice however).

- Naomi (6/5): Good location, redesign rooms - This is a well-located hotel in the theater district, just far enough from Times Square to be quiet. The bed was very comfortable, the shower worked well and everything was clean. Room designed to look cool, not functional. Can’t access far side of bed without crawling over the near side and there’s no nightstand or outlet on that side either. Bathroom has little room to hang towels or put travel kits. Lighting is weird.

- Pierrot (9/5): Magnifique hôtel où nous avons eu le plaisir de séjourner une semaine - Très bon emplacement, proche de Times Square à 5 mn à pieds, proche des théâtres de Broadway à 10 mn maxi, facile de trouver un restaurant le soir et d'aller faire des emplettes en fin de journée. Proche de Central Park, du Madison Square Garden 20 mn à pieds. On a trouvé que l'établissement était vraiment bien situé, tout en étant au calme, très bon petit déjeuner avec ambiance new yorkaise, et personnel à l'écoute. Le roof top de l'hôtel fut la belle surprise, nous ne l'avions pas vu dès le départ. Trop beau et ambiance garantie. Un crève-cœur de repartir. Rien en mon sens.

- REBECCA (9/5): The Civilian is a stylish, well-located spot to rest your head. - The Civilian is a beautifully appointed hotel in Hells Kitchen. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the 2nd floor bar area is a beautiful spot to rest and work. The Cozy Queen is VERY cozy, which made it tough to navigate with a rollator, and there are no support bars in non-accessible rooms.

- Carolyn (7/5): Overall, It was a lovely stay (except for the room cleaning issue) - I love the overall atmosphere of the hotel and all staff I encountered were amazing, esp Mark, Adam, Emily, Shantal and Diana, and most of all the hostess of the Rosevale. Overall, the staff were my favorite part of the stay! Did not like that rooms were cleaned only after three days except if requested otherwise. I did request that our room be cleaned on Tuesday and that was not done. It would be preferable if room cleaning was available every day and then if guests wanted to opt out they could (which is the way most hotels I have stayed out handle it)

Уборка раз в три дня ,в номере нет бутылок воды -это не привычно ,но не критично)номер маленький,как в Париже,но мне было комфортно .Нет шкафа и вешалки с плечеками чтобы повесить одежду и она не помялась )

The property is in need of certain small fixes that will highly improve the stay. Thorough cleaning, better mattresses, a kettle, a safe, more toiletries etc.

- April (8/5): Charming, beautiful hotel, wonderful reception, parking not so much, I have an suv so I did not fit in a few garages, so - Extremely clean! Spotless. Our check in was professional and elegant. The room was charming, the bed was a bit hard, we understood minimal, but really missed my coffee or espresso in the room in the morning. My car was too big to fit in the garage for around $50, finding the garage and the cost was heavy. My fault should have called to ask

Nice touches everywhere, like good filtered water in the hallway. Loved the decoration of the bathroom and great art work in my room. I made note of my room so I can come stay there again!
